Chapter 1247: Chapter 1247: Jealous
A figure rushed in at the door, his handsome face tense, with a gloomy expression, seemingly very anxious.
When he saw Jiang Jingheng and Mu Yan together, his expression clearly paused, obviously surprised to encounter them.
"Owen? Miss Mu?"
Jiang Jingheng’s expression was indifferent, and he did not respond.
Mu Yan, however, politely said, "Mr. Kong."
As soon as she called out this name, she seemed to realize something in a flash.
"Here for the film festival?" Jordon’s words were clearly directed at Mu Yan.
"Yes, how come Mr. Kong is here?"
"Just on a business trip nearby." Jordon said with a smile, "Since we met, can I invite you for afternoon tea another day?"
Before Mu Yan could speak, Jiang Jingheng suddenly spoke up, his tone cold, "No time."

Jordon glanced at Jiang Jingheng, understood, and smiled, "I have some matters to attend to, so I won’t disturb you any longer."
Mu Yan nodded slightly, watching him walk past her.
Jiang Jingheng noticed she kept looking at Jordon, his expression somewhat unpleasant, and suddenly asked after the man had left, "Is he handsome?"
Mu Yan snapped back to reality and looked at him, "What?"
Jiang Jingheng’s face was serious, looking unhappy, "Don’t stare at him."
Mu Yan realized he was jealous, moved closer, and said playfully, "What’s that smell, so sour."
Jiang Jingheng glanced at her, "Laughing at me? Yes, I am jealous."
Mu Yan was amused by his straightforwardness, clung to his arm, and explained, "He’s not as good looking as you, Mr. Jiang is the most handsome in the world."
"Don’t think you can brush it off like that." Jiang Jingheng looked at her, holding something in his hand that prevented him from pinching her face as usual.
Mu Yan’s lips curved up, "I only looked at him because I met a lady some time ago, also surnamed Kong. I kept wondering where I’d heard that surname before. Just now, seeing Jordan, I remembered he has the same surname."
"That’s all?" Jiang Jingheng seemed a bit unconvinced.
"Of course. Don’t you think Kong is an uncommon surname? And I just happen to have met two people with it all of a sudden."
Jiang Jingheng looked at her serious demeanor, overlooked the earlier dissatisfaction and said, "Let’s head back to the hotel."
"Okay." Mu Yan said, yawning, having had a long day, she was tired and wanted to sleep.
Not long after the two left, Jordon walked out accompanied by a woman, the same woman Mu Yan had met a while back, Kong Lizhen.
"If you’re going out shopping, you should bring bodyguards. If anything were to happen, father wouldn’t let it go." Jordon frowned slightly, a look of reproach on his face.
"I’m just out to buy a few things, not that dramatic." Kong Lizhen had a smiling face.

Jordon switched topics, "Father asked me to come pick you up."
"I plan to stay here for two more days."
Without hesitation, Jordon said, "Alright, then I’ll accompany you."
The next morning, Mu Yan and Jiang Jingheng wandered around the city again, having a leisurely day.
Considering they hadn’t taken a photo together before, this time she directly asked a passerby to help them take a picture.
Foreigners wouldn’t know who she is, so they wouldn’t look at her and Jiang Jingheng with gossiping eyes.
"Thank you." Mu Yan took back the phone from the kind person, glanced at the photo, and grumbled at the man beside her, "Why do you always keep a stern face? Can’t you smile? Taking a picture with me is so hard for you?"
Jiang Jingheng said nothing, surely he couldn’t tell her that seeing the person taking the picture opposite him, he couldn’t smile?
Mu Yan faintly felt like someone was tailing them; she was always sensitive to this, suspecting it was paparazzi, but due to previous unpleasant experiences, she wasn’t keen on continuing their outing.
It so happened she needed to attend an award ceremony soon, so they returned to the hotel.
