Feng Mian covered her mouth and chuckled, happy to be complimented by a child.

"Mom, where are we having the picnic?" Doudou looked at Xu Mumu expectantly, wearing a sun hat.

"See, this open area is quite large. Do you want to have it here? The banyan tree over there is so big; if it gets hot, you can rest in its shade. There’s also a pond nearby, where you can fish," Xu Mumu chose a nice spot to prepare for the barbecue.

Everyone had no objections and placed the things they brought on the open ground. Each family brought quite a lot.

Xu Mumu laid down some cushions and then placed her two sons on them, choosing a relatively shady spot so they wouldn’t get too hot.

The two little ones were playing there for the first time, and Xu Mumu even brought some of their toys.

Doudou and the others went with Professor Song to fish, playing happily by the pond.

Madam Chun took out the snacks prepared for the kids and warmed up the milk to give to Doudou and the others later.

"You guys brought so much food," Feng Mian widened her eyes, looking at what Xu Mumu brought. She thought she had brought a lot, but didn’t expect them to bring even more.

"Well, there are more kids today, and they’re playing outside, running and jumping around, getting hungry quickly, so we prepared a little extra," Xu Mumu said with a smile.

"I was thinking of getting our little Yi to lose weight, but it looks like we’ll have to postpone that for a few days," Feng Mian chuckled bitterly, looking at her chubby son. She worried so much about his health.

"Kids are cute when they’re chubby. Once they grow taller, they’ll naturally slim down. Yu Yi isn’t that chubby anymore; he’s lost quite a bit of weight since starting school," Xu Mumu looked at Yu Yi’s back. After starting primary school, Yu Yi lost quite a bit of weight. He seemed chubbier during kindergarten.

"We’ve tried many methods to get him to lose weight," Feng Mian said helplessly.

The kids over there were watching the fishing, chattering away, even planning to compare who caught the biggest fish. They didn’t seem like they were there to fish at all.

Over on Xu Mumu’s side, they chatted about the kids. It was rare to gather and chat about the kids at home, always having endless topics.

Feng Mian had a nice personality, and Xu Mumu got along well with her.

Yin Yang went along with Professor Song to fish. It was a rare break, having not fished in a long time, and he was itching to do so.

The fish in the pond were specially raised for people visiting the manor to catch fresh fish and enjoy.

Yin Yang was quite skillful, quickly catching a three-pound big carp.

"Wow, Dad, you’re amazing! The fish you caught is huge," Doudou’s eyes almost overflowed with admiration.

"Is this what you call amazing?" Yin Yang chuckled, placing his son onto his lap.

"Yeah, Dad, will you teach me too? My hook hasn’t had any bites," the little guy looked at his dad expectantly.

"Fishing requires patience. You’ve been talking over there nonstop, scaring the fish away, so naturally, there won’t be any bites," Yin Yang said helplessly.

"Is that so? Then I won’t chat with Uncle anymore," the little rascal seemed deep in thought.

Yin Yang didn’t bother with what he was thinking, letting him play by himself.

On Xu Mumu’s side, Madam Chun set up a pot, and the aroma quickly spread, causing even Feng Mian, who’s been thinking about dieting, to forget about it.

"Wow, I caught a fish too," Xu Mumu was watching her sons, making sure they didn’t crawl all over the ground.

She thought the two kids were quiet, but they turned out to be lively. Among Professor Song and the others, the two kids seemed perfect, without any flaws, making Xu Mumu think her sons were well-behaved and wouldn’t need coaxing when mischievous.

"Auntie, do the little brothers want to eat something too?" Yun Qiu asked Xu Mumu, looking at her two little brothers.

"I’ll give my jelly to them," Yun Qiu generously offered her jelly.

"Qiuqiu, Congcong and Ruirui can’t eat jelly yet; they need milk. You should feed them with the bottle," Jiang Yuxiu took the jelly from her daughter and handed her the warmed-up milk.

Xu Mumu watched and smiled, finding her niece adorable. She wished both of her children were daughters.

"Oh," the little girl took the bottle and fed it to her brother’s mouth, "Brother, drink some milk; it’s delicious." Her voice was sweet and innocent, and that thoughtful look made Xu Mumu feel warm inside.

"I want to have a daughter too," Feng Mian looked at Jiang Yuxiu with envy.

"Then have another one. It’s lonely with just Yu Yi; I’m planning to have another," Jiang Yuxiu said with a genuine smile. Seeing how lively her in-laws’ place was, she wanted to have more children too. Having only Yun Qiu felt too singular.

"I’ll discuss it with my husband when we get back. Having just Yu Yi is enough to worry us," Feng Mian turned her gaze back, though she wanted another one, she’d have to consider her husband and Yu Yi’s opinions.

Xu Mumu wiped the milk from Congcong’s mouth. The little girl wasn’t steady-handed, and milk smudged on his face.

"Auntie, are Congcong and Ruirui full?" Yun Qiu asked, looking at her aunt in confusion after feeding them quite a bit.

"You still need to feed them a bit more; they have quite the appetite," Xu Mumu said with a smile. You couldn’t tell now, but whether they had any superpowers was still unknown, but they certainly had a good appetite, always eating a lot.

She continued feeding Congcong a bit more before moving on to Ruirui. After both little guys were full, they became a bit drowsy, like little piglets, ready to sleep after eating.

Yin Yang came over to help hold his sons, and shortly after, the little guys fell asleep, snuggly and sweetly.
