Chapter 681: Looking for Trouble
"You’re still too young, aren’t you afraid of being bullied in first grade?" Xu Mumu said helplessly.
"I’m not afraid; I’m very strong." The little guy said seriously, having been taught by Xu Mumu, he already knew his power was different from ordinary people.
The little guy wasn’t ignorant; on the contrary, he was very aware.
Since this power was innate, the little guy could easily control his power, unlike Xu Mumu who brought power from a past life. If she couldn’t adapt to it, uncontrolled power would harm surrounding things.
"You, did you forget what Mom told you?" Xu Mumu pinched the little guy’s cheek.
"I remember, don’t reveal my power in front of ordinary people." The little guy said glumly; he just didn’t want to go to kindergarten.
Eventually, Xu Mumu compromised, but the little guy promised her, no more skipping grades before elementary school.
The little guy indeed smiled, "Mom, you’re the best." The little rascal kissed Xu Mumu’s cheek, his face blushing.
"You, no wonder your dad calls you a little flatterer." Xu Mumu poked the little guy’s forehead.
That evening when Yin Yang returned, Xu Mumu told him about this. Their son’s mind was much more mature than other kids’, staying in kindergarten wouldn’t make him happy.
Yin Yang didn’t oppose it. Though it might be a bit troublesome for their son to start elementary school, it wasn’t a big deal. They could ask Huo Qingze to make a phone call, since he was the one who founded the school.
The next day, Yin Yang went to find Huo Qingze about Doudou starting first grade.
Huo Qingze gritted his teeth looking at Yin Yang, "You could’ve just called, why come to me? Am I that idle? My son needs my attention; I don’t have time for your son."
"Isn’t it your domain? Your word works better. Weren’t you wanting to be my son’s godfather?" Yin Yang replied calmly.
"You never agreed." Huo Qingze rolled his eyes, wondering how to throw this annoying guy out, always giving him a bunch of things to deal with.
Doudou is only four, going to first grade. These parents really think outside the box.
"Can I agree now?" Yin Yang said amusedly, but now Huo Qingze has his own son, no need to covet his son.
"Humph, I have a son now. If you’d ask me to be your daughter’s godfather, that might work." Huo Qingze said, as his wife wasn’t planning to have more children, and he’s considering a vasectomy. He saw Xu Mumu was wanting more children; maybe he’d be godfather for Yin Yang’s daughter.
"You’re thinking too far ahead." Yin Yang gritted his teeth, this shameless guy was already eyeing his daughter before she was born.
"Not too far. What do you think?" Huo Qingze asked, seeing Yin Yang’s displeasure made him satisfied.
"We’ll see about that; quickly sort my son’s stuff, I need to go back to my wife." Yin Yang glared at him and swiftly left, confident Huo Qingze would handle it.
Soon after, he received Huo Qingze’s call; the child’s enrollment was settled. They just had to bring Doudou to start school.
Yin Yang smiled faintly, telling Xu Mumu about it.
"It’ll be good having Doudou study with Fengfeng, since Fengfeng is older and can look after Doudou more." Xu Mumu said smiling.
"Let’s go tell Mom and them. Fengfeng should be home from school now; he’ll surely be happy." Yin Yang said with a grin.
"Alright, let’s go now." Xu Mumu nodded. Seeing mom and dad go to grandma’s, Doudou also wanted to go, already knowing about going to first grade.
"Mom, can I tell uncle this news later?" As they headed to the Xu Family, the little guy eagerly looked at Xu Mumu, wanting to share the good news with his uncle.
"Sure, you can tell him yourself." Xu Mumu nodded with a smile.
Upon arriving at the Xu Family, it felt lively; Fengfeng was playing in the room with Yun Qiu. At this age, the little aunt hadn’t learned to walk yet and enjoyed crawling around. Fengfeng loved carrying her to play.
"Uncle, I want to hold the little sister." Doudou said upon entering, seeing uncle holding the little sister, wanting his turn too.
"You can’t; you’re too small to hold her." Fengfeng said earnestly.
"I’m strong enough." The little guy said frustratedly, he’d never held the little sister before; everyone said he was too small.
But he believed mom was right, his power was too strong, holding too tightly might hurt his sister, so he gave up, not holding her.
"Sis, why are you all here? Are you staying for dinner?" Fengfeng asked expectantly, as Xu Mumu usually didn’t stay for meals despite living nearby.
"No, no, uncle, I’m here to tell you some good news, want to hear?" The little guy asked sweetly, Xu Mumu watching the two kids with amusement.
"What good news?" Fengfeng asked curiously, setting Yun Qiu on the sofa.
"I’ll be going to first grade with you, uncle. Aren’t you happy?" The little guy looked at Fengfeng eagerly.
"Really?" Fengfeng was indeed interested.
"Of course! Ask my dad if you don’t believe me. My dad’s awesome, he settled letting me start first grade easily." The little rascal admired his dad greatly.
Yin Yang stood straighter unconsciously, proud of his image in his child’s eyes, feeling very satisfied.
"I’ll come to your house every day, and we can go to school together." Fengfeng exclaimed excitedly.
"Alright, alright." The little rascal nodded, looking forward to studying with his uncle.
Seeing the two kids agree, Li Caixia came over to inquire.
"Mumu, are you really sending Doudou to first grade?" Li Caixia asked in disbelief; Doudou was so young, spoiling him shouldn’t be like this.
"Yes, you know Doudou’s smart, not adapting well in kindergarten." Xu Mumu said with a helpless smile.
"That’s true, our Doudou is the smartest." Li Caixia said proudly, as Doudou had learned a lot already.
Seeing Li Caixia’s praising Doudou, Xu Mumu quietly turned her face away.
