Chapter 605: Interview
Xu Mumu entered the shoe factory, where there were not many people, and no one stopped her.
Arriving at Du Yu’s house, it was Du Yu’s wife who opened the door. She knew Xu Mumu, and as soon as she saw Xu Mumu coming, she welcomed her in immediately.
"Mumu, you’re finally here, have some water." Du Yu brought over some sweet water.
"Mumu, is this your child? So good-looking." Qin Jie smiled as she looked at Doudou, who was in Xu Mumu’s arms. She felt a bit eager to hold him too.
Du Yu’s wife was pregnant now, but it was still early stages, so they would have to wait a few more months for a grandchild.
"Yes, this is my son, Doudou, his full name is Yin Si." Xu Mumu smiled and nodded.
"Great name, great name." Qin Jie said with a smile, looking at the little guy fondly, "Can I hold him?"
"Of course you can, Doudou is not shy anymore." Xu Mumu nodded and placed her son into Qin Jie’s arms.
The little guy seemed a bit confused, but with his mom nearby, he didn’t fuss at all.
Qin Jie gave him some snacks, and the little boy started nibbling on the cake pieces.
Xu Mumu took out the blueprints and business plans she had prepared and started discussing them with Du Yu and his family.
Lunch was prepared by Qin Jie, and Xu Mumu stayed with her son to eat there. After the meal, she continued discussing her plans.
Xu Mumu came well-prepared, and both father and son were a bit excited. According to her plan, if this worked out, they could make a lot of money.
"Mr. Du, what do you think?" Xu Mumu stated her requirements.
"Let’s go with your plan. I’ve already taken action with the factory, and it should be sorted in the next couple of days." Du Zhen pondered and said.
Then the three of them discussed the preparations and investment aspects.
Xu Mumu planned to be a hands-off manager, so the father and son were naturally the ones to do the work.
The three of them drafted a simple contract. After Xu Mumu left a large sum of money, she took a car back.
After Xu Mumu left, father and son finally came to their senses, both feeling excited and eager to start renovating.
Even if the shoe factory was closing down, there were still many follow-up tasks to handle.
After returning home, Xu Mumu consulted Yin Yang about the machinery she needed. These machines were not available locally, some even had to be imported.
The young wife wanted to start a business, and Yin Yang naturally supported her, directly gathering everything she needed.
As for the shoe factory, after Du Zhen acquired it, he started organizing and cleaning out the factory, even selling the machines as second-hand items to get more funds.
Machinery for the factory required Xu Mumu to source, while workers familiar with the machines needed to be found by the father and son, making the Du Family very busy.
Xu Mumu was also not idle, as she was responsible for the machinery, which was not so easy to find, along with suitable personnel.
She was also in charge of improving the electric bikes, but she only needed to do one version. Eventually, when a research department was set up in the factory, she wouldn’t need to make improvements anymore and just wait to share the profits.
Within over half a month, Yin Yang had found the equipment needed by Xu Mumu and had it delivered to the factory.
When Du Yu and the others saw that Xu Mumu had quickly secured all the equipment, they had made little progress on finding technical staff. It wasn’t that they couldn’t find any, but they weren’t easy to find, and only a few were located, which was still too few.
Du Yu went over to Xu Mumu again to discuss, and she directly suggested recruiting openly in the entire provincial city.
Xu Mumu wrote down the recruitment requirements and job benefits, and asked Du Yu to get them printed, so they could be distributed everywhere and set a date for interviews.
After candidates were selected, they would undergo training. The equipment was not too difficult to operate and could be learned with practice.
Du Yu had no other choice and went along with Xu Mumu’s suggestion.
In the next two days, Xu Mumu noticed recruitment notices posted everywhere. While out with Doudou for a stroll, she saw them, her eyes glinting with a smile, impressed by Du Yu’s efficiency.
On the day of the recruitment interviews, Xu Mumu arrived early at the factory. In just over twenty days, the factory had undergone a dramatic change. Today, she didn’t bring Doudou.
There were already many people outside waiting for interviews. Xu Mumu looked at the crowd, seeing how packed it was.
The factory needed to hire many people, but compared to the crowd, it still seemed a bit insufficient.
After greeting the security guard, Xu Mumu went in, drawing everyone’s attention as she was the only one entering.
Xu Mumu calmly walked inside, thinking they would need to expand the facility once everything was on track.
Reaching the office designated by Du Yu and the others, she found several people already engaged in lively discussions.
"Mumu, why didn’t you bring Doudou?" Qin Jie was there, very happy to see her, but slightly disappointed not to see Doudou.
"There were many things to handle today, and I couldn’t manage, so I left him at home." Xu Mumu said with a smile.
Qin Jie also had a lot to do today and couldn’t help with the childcare. Although disappointed, she understood.
They were discussing the interview questions, and Xu Mumu handed them the questions she had prepared for them to review.
"Mumu, your plans are so comprehensive." Du Zhen remarked appreciatively while holding the materials Xu Mumu provided.
"Truly impressive, let’s go with these." Du Yu rubbed his temples, saying, having been busy these days. Although Xu Mumu’s tasks were fewer, many tasks on their side required him and his father to handle personally.
As the time came, the interviewees were brought in five at a time. Outside, some people organized the queue, keeping it orderly.
The interview questions were mainly asked by the few present, with Xu Mumu chiming in occasionally.
Each of them noted down the names of promising candidates after each round of interviews. However, with so many interviews, it stretched until after 4 PM when no more candidates showed up. Xu Mumu quickly downed two large glasses of water, and the others were equally exhausted from talking all day. Despite having water throughout, their throats were parched.
