Chapter 129: <Chapter 128>

Silje almost said yes and she didn’t know why.

Was it the magic of the first snow?

She felt drunk, but quickly, Silje realized that they weren’t in Oslo anymore. This wasn’t right.

She pushed aside strands of stray hair behind her ear and replied quietly, “No... I think I should go now, Kail.”

With her words, Silje could feel the magic breaking. Their fairytale was no more.

Kail looked at her quietly. His face remained impassive as he said coldly, “We will go in like nothing happened. If you go in with me, then I will seriously consider it. Only then.”

“Consider what?”

“About what you want. About me returning to Oslo.”

Kail looked at her penetratingly, making Silje feel dizzy. Snow was falling on her heart slowly, and Silje didn’t look away. In an assured voice, she replied, “If you can promise me that, then sure. Why not?”

Silje didn’t refuse him.

If he would leave her alone, then there was no reason why she should say no. Silje kept telling herself this even though she knew this was a bad idea. She knew she was slowly losing her heart to him, but it didn’t matter. After this night, he would leave her alone.

She took his hand and walked into the elevator. They didn’t say a word until they entered Kail’s penthouse.

The inside was grand as expected.

There was a large fireplace, a rocking chair covered with a white fur blanket, a large leather sofa, and beautiful flowers everywhere.

It was gorgeous and the quiet classical music was a pleasant addition to the romantic atmosphere. It was so lovely that it hurt Silje’s heart.

Or was it his intense gaze that made her heart pound?

“Silje, if you really want me to return to Oslo, then accept my kiss.”

Kail walked towards her and lowered his face. She knew the right thing was to push him away, but Silje didn’t want to. He looked at her so desperately and earnestly that she couldn’t do anything but hold him.

Silje tried to convince herself that she was doing this only because she wanted him gone, but her mind became foggy with his kiss. Kail’s lips felt hot as he kissed her deeply. Silje was drowning in his arms.

“Ahh... Ha... Ah... Kail.”

Silje moaned as she hung on to him tightly.

She couldn’t believe herself. Her hair was a mess and she grabbed onto Kail who was naked. Who was this woman? It was her, but it didn’t feel like it.

This woman who was kissing him back ardently couldn’t be Silje. She felt free for once, free to do what she deeply desired.

Despite all the confusing feelings, however, one thing was certain.

Silje wanted Kail gone.

But if that was all she wanted... Why couldn’t she stop moaning?

“Ahh... Mmmm. Ha... ahhh...”

Was it really her responding to Kail this way? She couldn’t understand her own body, and there was no way for her to stop.

His lips and hands were everywhere. Kail pushed her black hair aside and kissed her slim neck as he moved down. Before Silje could stop him, Kail reached her pale breasts and started to suckle them.

The sound he made with his lips were so erotic that Silje gasped.

“Kail... Don’t...”

But he ignored her weak protest and continued to move down her body. Slowly but surely, he spread her long legs. All Silje could do was freeze and watch him as he dipped between her legs and kissed her deepest and most sensitive part. The feeling of his vigorous and passionate tongue and lips made her writhe uncontrollably.

“Ahh... Kail... Ah...”

It felt hot and painful, but Kail continued ardently, driving Silje crazy.

“Ah... Ahh!”

She could hardly breathe and slowly, her body started to experience intense pleasure. Silje couldn’t believe what was happening. It felt like she was outside of her body and watching from above.

It was too hot and too passionate.

She panted as her body burned. She couldn’t think clearly, but even then, her mind ordered her that it needed to be done if she wanted to be freed from Kail. A voice inside her head whispered to her that she needed to do whatever it took to make this go faster.

So Silje slowly opened her legs wider.

Kail became breathless and like an animal, he hungrily ate at her sensitive bud. He was panting loudly, and his lips excitedly moved on her.

Silje couldn’t think. Her eyes blurred and the world seemed to turn red in her mind.

The pain and the pleasure. She was now familiar with this sensation. Her eyes watered and as Kail licked her one last time, her body burst into a volcano of pleasure.

“AHHHHH... Ah!”

It was too intense, and it engulfed her like an ocean wave. Silje worried that her body might really explode into pieces because the feeling was too powerful.

When she recovered, she opened her legs wider, wanting this to be over.

“Kail, now.”

Silje hurried him.

“Kail...”

His green eyes filled with desire and without hesitation, he moved on top of her and thrust into her.

“Ahh...!”

It was an unforgettable night. A romantic dinner and passionate sex.

Silje had her eyes closed on the bed, and when she could finally move, she sat up and slowly got dressed. The silence was deadly in the room, especially after the wild act of passion they shared just a moment ago.

Without looking at him, Silje announced, “I kept my side of the bargain, so now you need to keep your promise.”

The penthouse was dark except for Silje’s cold voice.

“I hope you honor your words and return to Oslo.”

Click, click.

The cruel sound of her high heels walked towards the door. When the door closed, Kail remained quiet with his lips closed firmly.

In the hallway, Silje didn’t look back. She walked towards the elevator and left the fairy tale behind her. The ice castle that was Kail’s penthouse remained silent as if time had stopped.
