Chapter 59: Changes

Madeline woke up and felt different in many ways. After having talked with Guy about her fears she felt as if a great mountain of stress had been lifted from her shoulders. There was always something about having a good cry that always left her feeling better in a way as well. As she stretched out she noticed that her body felt different from before as well. She realized that she felt stronger but at the same time more flexible and softer in certain areas. She remembered then what Doreen had said about the potions effects the next day, she quickly got up and ran over to her mirror and started to look at herself closely. She could see several changes immediately, all of her hard edges had seemed to have been softened. Her skin and hair had a shine that she never remembered seeing. Most importantly to Madeline, she saw that her breasts now had some substance. She wasn't built like Doreen or Alicia, but her normal normal flat appearance had been replaced by a figure like her mother's causing Madeline to nearly weep with joy.
Madeline decided it might be a good idea to check her status later in the day after her work out, she felt like she might have increased in at least one of her physical stats. Her clothing no longer fit the same way it used to, so she had to have her uniforms and clothing tailored to fit her new body dimensions. During her workout she realized that she needed time to get used to her new body, the way she moved felt quicker and stronger, and at the same time, awkward because she wasn't used to her chest, hips and backside being as big as they had grown. When she met Alicia, she noticed right away that Alicia had also changed, her skin and hair practically sparkled. It was as if there were a field of roses behind her any time she smiled and looked at you. When Doreen showed up later the three of them together caused nearly anyone that passed by to stop dead in their tracks and stare at them with an open mouth.
At lunch time Doreen, Madeline and Alicia sat opposite of Guy, Claude and Olivier. The three men stared at them the entire time. At one point Claude even tried to take a bite of food and missed his mouth entirely. Even Olivier who normally wasn't phased by anything the women did looked as if he was incapable of looking away from them. Madeline suddenly had the desire to tease Olivier so she touched her lip and asked, "So, Olivier, I saw Ella brought you lunch yesterday, are things going well?"
Olivier stared at her lip and asked, "Who?"
Guy frowned and said to him, "Ella, the girl from the music store."
Olivier blinked and then stammered, "Oh, Ella, yes, she is doing well. I think I might need to talk to Diggory about letting me give her the potion."
Claude asked, "Did you change your hair, Alicia?"
Alicia bubbled up and said excitedly, "I did, I wore it in a pony tail today, doesn't it look nice?"
All three men answered at once, """Yes.""""
Doreen chuckled and then asked, "Did either of you ladies notice any other changes?"
Madeline nodded and said, "If I am not mistaken I gained some physical stats."
Alicia then said, "I feel like I did as well."
Doreen nodded and said, " I gained a couple of stat points too, I would be curious to see, the three of us should go later then and see."
Guy scrunched up his face and asked, "Wait, Doreen, you said you gained stat points from taking the potion? It was my understanding that this potion was only designed to increase physical appearance which might have an effect on the charisma stat."
Doreen nodded and said, "Mhm, but at least in my case, it also increased my dexterity and strength."
Guy rubbed his chin, and said, "I wonder if Diggory has ever thought about making a dexterity or strength potion."
Claude nodded and then said, "I wonder if you took the beauty potion, Guy, if it would help you with your little problem."
Guy turned and glared at Claude hissing through his teeth, "Maybe I should drag you out to the training ground for sword practice this afternoon."
Claude chuckled and said, "I thought you always said it wasn't the size of a man's sword, but how he used it?"
Olivier then broke in and said, "We should check with Diggory before going very far, he may know something."
Guy looked at Olivier and nodded and then said, "That's true."
Claude nodded and said, "We wouldn't want Guy growing big t..."
"Don't finish that thought." Guy had drawn his sword and the tip was below Claude's chin which caused the entire table to erupt into laughter.

Alicia checked her status first at the board, Doreen and Madeline were surprised to see that Alicia had gained an additional three points to her physical stats and an amazingly only one additional point to her already ridiculous charisma. Otherwise, her stats were unchanged. Madeline was excited to see her own status now because she was certain the changes would be amazing to behold.
Doreen smiled at Madeline and said, "Well, I hope you are ready, it's your turn now."
Madeline was excited as she touched the board, once again the existing chalk marks reformed themselves and displayed the new status. As they read through them everyone was excited for Madeline and then every sound was sucked out of the room as Madeline whispered, "This..."
Doreen's eyes grew huge. Alicia looked like she had seen a ghost. Madeline covered her open mouth with her own hand. Alicia was the first to speak, "Maybe it's a mistake, touch the board again?"
Madeline's hand shook as she reached out to touch the board. Once again the chalk started to rearrange itself, once again returning exactly to where it had been. Madeline started to hyperventilate in disbelief.
Alicia turned pale and then looked at Doreen, "You should touch the board as well."
Doreen stared at Madeline and then reached out and touched the board. Once they all saw the board it became obvious to them all. Madeline squeaked out, "We can't let Guy know."
Alicia said, "I think Guy needs to check his status, because if it's the same as yours, then something will need to change for the three of you." She took a deep breath, "This is unbelievable." She looked at Doreen, "This is your fault, you are the one who got us to try that potion."
Doreen closed her eyes and sighed, "It's not from the potion. But it is my fault." Doreen looked at the board again in disbelief.
