Chapter 53: Madeline’s busy day

Madeline got up early the way she did while training her sword and physical fitness intensely. This time she went to Doreen's Order dorm building to see what she could find out. First she looked up which dorm room had been assigned to Doreen and then found a nearby hiding place and waited for Doreen to come out. Thankfully, Doreen was an early riser as well. She was dressed in her sword training uniform and headed straight out to the Order's training ground in back of the dorm building. Madeline followed behind her just out of sight. Doreen trained hard for a while and then two other women came out and trained with her, Doreen seemed to get along really well with one of them and the other seemed to purposely be distancing herself from the two of them. Madeline decided that this other girl who was getting along so well with Doreen was a man stealer too, so she made a mental note to keep her eye on the other girl too.
After training, Doreen and the other girl went to the bathhouse. Madeline put on a disguise and followed them in pretending to be a regular student so she could eavesdrop on Doreen. She over heard Doreen talking, "There's this guy I really like, he's handsome, tall, smart." She sighed and then said, "It's too bad he has a fiancé already. Luckily she is as flat as a board."
Madeline choked and slipped falling backwards into the tub. Madeline managed to settle herself and went back to listening. She looked down at her chest and frowned. She over heard the other woman saying, "Is she a student here?"
"She was last year, but she is a teacher here this year. Well, at any rate all she can do is train and study. She has no personality, no talents. She is a bad dancer, oh and she is soooo boring." Doreen said.
Madeline blurted out, "I am not boring!" She quickly covered her mouth and then sunk down into the tub.
"Did you hear something?" Doreen asked.
The other girl said, "I think it came from the other tub, but I don't see anyone there now."
Madeline poked her head up and took a breath listening again. She heard Doreen say, "I have been meeting him everyday in secret for a while now. He likes to touch my big breasts."
The other girl snorted and laughed. Madeline thought to herself, 'I am going to kill her, no, I'll cut his balls off and then I'll kill her.'
Doreen and the other girl got out of the tub, dried off and then quickly dressed hurrying off to class. Madeline hurried to catch up not bothering to dry off properly. Madeline followed Doreen all day in her disguise. Finally after classes ended for the day Doreen headed to the Tower of Magic. Madeline stayed far enough behind that she was sure Doreen had no idea she was being followed. Madeline quietly hid near the Tower's status board room. Inside she heard Doreen talking to someone. She moved closer and heard Doreen say, "It's alright, you can keep touching them. Just be softer."
Madeline's eyes opened so wide that they were ready to fly out, she had to cover her mouth with her hands to keep from crying out. Inside she heard Guy saying, "Wow, I have never touched any that were so big. Diggory's potion really worked, didn't it?"
Madeline couldn't take it anymore, she rushed in the room and cried out, "I'm sorry mine are so small, if you like hers so much than I'll leave!"
Guy looked confused and then he turned to Doreen who was holding back laughter. Once Guy looked at her Doreen exploded into laughter practically rolling on the floor. Guy got angry and then said, "Damn it Doreen, what did you say to her?"
Madeline who was crying started to stop, looking at what Guy was holding in his hand. Guy held up two very large tomatoes. Doreen who was still laughing hard tried to get out, "I'm sorry Maddy, I saw you following me this morning and figured you must have misunderstood something about me and Guy here."
Madeline's lower lip was still shaking as she asked, "What about that girl from this morning?"
Doreen laughed again, "She's a girl from my dorm, I don't even know her that well."
Guy stared at the two of them looking very cold. He walked over to the status board and slapped his hand against it.

Then he grabbed Doreen and pressed her hand against the board [Love interest: None | Favorability: N/A] He pointed two of his fingers on his right hand at his eyes and then he angrily pointed at Doreen with his right index finger. Then he looked at Madeline and said, "I'll only say this once, so listen carefully. I am in love with you, Madeline. Just you. I'm sorry that I looked at Doreen in a way that made you question my loyalty, but I swear to you, I will only ever have one woman in my life and the woman I have chosen is you." He took a knee in front of Madeline and took her hand in his and said, "If you ever need any kind of reassurance from me about my feelings for you, I will gladly come with you to this room and put my hand on the board."
Madeline grabbed him in a tight hug and gave him a hard kiss. After breaking the kiss, she looked for Doreen and noticed that they were now all alone. Even though Doreen had put her through a miserable day she realized that Doreen had done it in order for her hear what Guy felt with her own ears and see with her own eyes that the man she loved only had her in his heart. Madeline held him tighter and sobbed out, "I'm so sorry I doubted you, will you forgive me?"
He kissed her softly on the forehead and said, "I understand why you were worried, after what you went through with Prince Andre it's no wonder you would have a hard time trusting me. I won't dismiss your very real fears by saying something like you have no right to feel that way about me. Instead, just know that I am not going anywhere. I'll be here for you when those fears come up and I'll help you swat them away every time." He hugged her tight.
She sobbed softly in his embrace feeling like his arms were castle walls there to keep danger out.

Doreen sighed and shook her head. She smiled and looked up at the sky and said, "I miss you so much Renée, I wonder what they would all do if they knew we were lovers? I guess Olivier really was trustworthy. He didn't even tell his best friend about us." She sighed, wiping a tear from her cheek. She walked back to her dorm room feeling empty and sad.
