"If he wasn't using his symbiote ability, then can you explain how he was able to overwhelm a rank 3 symbiote user?" The boy didn't back down and instead added." Unless he had been hiding his symbiote ranking or cheating from the very beginning."
As soon as this was said, the crowd of students immediately began to gasp in surprise at each other. They could see Bernard's power level being displayed on his bracelet, but now it seems more like a disguise besides not many had seen his test and thus had no idea he had no ability. So they were more inclined to believe he was a high-ranking student hiding his real symbiote ranking under the guise of being a rank 1.
