After fighting for a couple of hours, the group managed to reach the top of the castle, where they found a large chamber where Tenebres' throne room was.

As the group stood before Tenebres, they couldn't help but perceive the depths of his true nature. It became increasingly evident that he possessed an insidious and twisted mindset, one that viewed himself as far superior to mere mortals. Tenebres exhibited a need for control, manipulating and exerting his influence over others to reinforce his delusion of superiority.

The group witnessed firsthand how Tenebres relished in creating a sense of subservience and inferiority in those around him. He crafted an atmosphere where individuals were made to feel small, insignificant, and unworthy in his presence. He employed psychological tactics to diminish the self-esteem and confidence of others, making them doubt their own capabilities and worth.

Despite Tenebres' attempts to project an air of superiority, the group discerned a deeper truth hidden beneath his facade. They could see through his thinly veiled amusement, recognizing the loneliness and boredom that plagued him.

It was evident that Tenebres' obsession with power and control had isolated him from genuine connections and left him yearning for meaningful interaction. One that he could only find by creating enemies left and right and hoping that they would manage to stand at his level…

In the vastness of his throne room, Tenebres sat alone on his imposing seat, surrounded by opulence and grandeur. His attempts to appear amused and entertained fell flat as the group saw through the hollow charade. The room echoed with a melancholic silence, accentuating the emptiness that pervaded Tenebres' existence.

Despite his desire to be seen as superior, Tenebres couldn't escape the truth that he couldn't find anyone who truly regarded him as their equal. The isolation he imposed upon himself left him unworthy of genuine companionship and camaraderie. The loneliness etched upon his face, and the boredom reflected in his eyes betrayed the hollowness of his self-proclaimed superiority.

As the group observed Tenebres in his solitary throne room, a mix of pity and resolve welled within them. They recognized the tragic nature of being consumed by the need to dominate and control yet forever yearning for true connection. It fueled their determination to stand against him,

"It is time to end things, Tenebres," Malon declared once they showed up in the throne room. "The world isn't your you, no more."

"Why? Things are just getting interesting," Tenebres said and then smiled before raising his finger, and then a portal appeared in front of the throne.

Before long, the dark knight appeared in front of the group… it had been a while since they saw that guy, and they wondered where he had been, but it didn't matter now, they finally had the chance to settle the score, and they couldn't ask for more. Malon stepped forward to face him; even though everyone there had a grudge against the enemy, they knew that he was the best option.

As the tension reached its peak, Malon stood face to face with the formidable Dark Knight. The air crackled with anticipation as their blades clashed, the sound reverberating throughout the battleground. The onlookers strained their eyes, trying to catch a glimpse of the lightning-fast exchange that unfolded before them.

Malon moved with unmatched speed and precision, his sword a blur of steel as he launched a series of swift strikes at his opponent. The Dark Knights countered each attack with dark, heavy swings of their own. The clash of their blades sent sparks flying, illuminating the intense battle that unfolded in a fraction of a second.

Their movements were a symphony of agility and skill. Malon gracefully weaved through the onslaught of the Dark Knight, evading lethal strikes with acrobatic maneuvers that seemed almost supernatural. With each parry and riposte, he showcased his unmatched mastery of the sword, executing precise and devastating attacks that kept the Dark Knight on the defensive.

The speed of their duel was breathtaking as if time itself struggled to keep up with their lightning-quick exchanges. The onlookers strained their eyes, catching only glimpses of the fighters as they moved with unparalleled swiftness. They witnessed flashes of steel, blurred outlines of bodies, and the occasional burst of sparks and emanating energy.

It seemed that they were equal in all aspects, but then, all of a sudden, Malon sped up a notch, and as if the enemy suddenly stopped moving, he advanced with his insane speed and then pierced the enemy's heart; it felt like the armor was completely useless and it was pierced like it was made of cotton.

The Dark Knight staggered back, clutching at his chest. His eyes widened with shock and agony, a realization dawning upon him that his life force was swiftly fading away. Blood stained his armor, marking the severity of the mortal wound inflicted upon him.

The once imposing figure of the Dark Knight, draped in shadows and malevolence, now stood vulnerable and fragile. Every heartbeat grew weaker, his grip on life slipping away with each passing second. Pain twisted his features as he fought against the inevitable, but the wound was too severe, the damage irreparable.

With a final shuddering breath, the Dark Knight fell to his knees, his strength drained, and his life extinguished. The battlefield fell into a hushed silence as the reality of his demise settled over the onlookers. Darkness and malevolence dissipated, leaving only the lifeless form of a fallen warrior.

"Very impressive, but it isn't over yet," Tenebres said, and then the dark knight's body began to move again.

As the lifeless body of the Dark Knight lay still on the ground, a wave of unnatural energy swept through the battlefield. The air crackled with an eerie aura as Tenebres, the embodiment of darkness and manipulation, extended his dark influence over the fallen warrior.

Time itself seemed to rewind, but only on the body of the Dark Knight. The wounds that had brought him to the brink of death began to heal, the bloodstains fading away as if they were never there. The life force that had once faded now surged back into his body, revitalizing him with an unholy vigor.
