"That is some long-term planning… how the hell did you manage to store so much mana… wait…" Aion frowned.

"That is right, by copying you," Arlana said and then smiled. "I told you, my ancestors had a great interest in you, and they studied your techniques. Right now, you should be improving Inner Release. Still, you from the future could use a more advanced version of that same technique, and you also could absorb the mana from the environment like a dungeon core."

"That is… impressive," Aion said while noticing the looks of shock from his mother and Seris. "By the way, didn't you want to avoid telling me about the future in order not to change it in a dangerous way?"

"This much should be fine since it will strengthen you," Arlana explained. "We should be careful about the knowledge about events since you might try to think of countermeasures, and those countermeasures will create waves in the flow of time that will change everything."

Aion could understand that… it made sense. In any case, Arlana knew about Explosive Release, which was the next level of Inner Release. Still, she didn't know how to harness mana from the environment. Aion was satisfied that he wasn't a fool that let others learn everything from him. Still, now he couldn't get a powerful card that he could only obtain in the future, perhaps many decades ahead.

"With Explosive Release, you can multiply your physical and spiritual powers almost infinitely as long as you have the cores with enough energy," Arlana explained. "It is the perfect technique for you since you can fight at close and far away from the enemies, but it is also useful for people like me who use only magic. The secret behind it is simple: you create orbs with the energy that you want and then absorb them when you need them."

Arlana began to focus, and then she raised her right hand and showed her palm. Little by little, everyone could see some particles of mana moving toward the center of her hand, and then it began to turn into a sphere. All of her current mana turned into a sphere that was half of the size of her first, but Aion could feel that she had at least two thousand points of mana there.

"It requires some training, but those good at magic should be able to do this after a few weeks," Arlana said and then stored the orb in her pocket. "This is particularly good because you can completely ignore the limits of your mana pool. If you have ten of these, your mana pool becomes ten times bigger."

"Aion is a training freak, so it doesn't surprise me that he can do this, or rather, that he was able to come up with this," Seris said.

Putting what Seris said aside, Aion wondered if those orbs could be made by someone and absorbed by another. Arlana said that it wasn't possible, but Aion was certain that he could find a way.

Regardless, Aion changed his class and then used Magic Recovery on Arlana. She blinked several times when she realized that she had suddenly recovered her mana.

"You can even transfer your mana?" Arlana opened her eyes widely.

"Tell me when your mana pool is full again," Aion said.

Aion used the spell several times, and he confirmed that he only had to use one thousand of his mana points to restore her total mana pool of two thousand. While that didn't obey the law of conservation of energy, Aion just assumed that his system could ignore that.

"I need to do some experiments for today, and then I will return to work on the road tomorrow, but before that, I need to know how you got that armor and sword," Aion said.

"Those? I found them lying around in one of the battles that you participated in," Arlana replied. "While I didn't see their masters, a lot of enemies armed with those showed up, and they were your perfect counter. Despite that, you managed to win, but that only made the enemies take you seriously… in the end…"

"I didn't stand a chance, huh," Aion rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Well, I will study those as well."

Aion finished his meal and then went to his room. While he was supposed to train to learn Explosive Release, he had other plans. Once he was able to use Earth Transformation, he called a few things. He never thought much about it… but only the blood of Malon and his descendants could be used to make relics? That would be if that were the case since they weren't the strongest family of mages around.

"Grandpa, did you try to use your blood to make relics, or did anyone try in the history of the Milleris Kingdom?" Aion asked.

"No, was didn't need relics… but we were aware that our blood has a lot of magic power. It is through the blood vessels that all the energy flows and expands through the body, after all," Arc replied. "So, we used our blood as a catalyst when casting some spells."

That was unexpected. Aion didn't think that the royal family would try such a thing. Usually, they would be too prideful for that since their talent when it comes to magic was almost unrivaled.

In any case, Aion wondered how he should do that… he created a small vessel of iron and then cut his hand a bit and made his blood fall. Eventually, he sealed the vessel in the shape of a small wand, and he tried to check if he could feel any magic power coming from it, and he didn't…

"I guess I need to experiment more with it," Aion furrowed his eyebrows. "It is a pity that I can't recover at the same rate I can heal myself with magic."

After some tests, Aion learned that he could create relics, but he had to mix his blood with the materials of the same…, which was weird since Malon's relics didn't look like they had blood inside.
