"As if I would let you," Aion said while smiling. "You only spew nonsense so far without showing any proof. You need more than all that."

"The materials that you got, that armor and the sword are something I forged in the future," Arlana said and canceled the barrier. "Don't you think that you arrived just in time to save your sisters? Considering all that you faced after starting to fight here, you should have realized that we didn't have enough tools to kill you because that wasn't my intention. I just want to make you understand that I am from the future, but I am not your enemy. While I do want you to meet me in person, you don't have to know, just use the relics to go anywhere, and you will confirm a part of the things that I said. Also, I know that you were reborn in this world, and your soul came from somewhere else."

Aion opened his eyes widely and then clicked his tongue… he thought that he was careful, but it looked like people in the future realized that. Still, that didn't confirm anything.

"How did you learn that?" Aion asked while wondering if he should just kill her to erase the evidence.

"Your real enemies know that, and they revealed the whole world to turn them against you," Arlana replied, and then her aura began to weaken. "Again, you just have to use the relics to confirm it. I don't have enough mana to stay here for long, so you have to make up your mind. Their voices might bother you, but you will have to learn how to silence them. I can let the people here with the spirits, but I will only be able to return in three days."

Aion clicked his tongue in annoyance… it made sense that someone would need a lot of mana to talk with someone in the past, but that also could be a trick. Still, he had the chance to kill her if he wanted to… her spirit was in that body, and she needed to be able to use such spells.

"Do it," Aion said. "If you know me, then you should know that something like this won't stop me if it is a trap… and what I can do to my enemies."

"This isn't the vote of confidence that I was hoping for, but I guess it is better than nothing," Arlana said. "Once you find a few answers by yourself, you can contact me by using the relics on the fallen capital."

Aion saw the souls of the Millerians leaving the bodies of the people around, and they moved toward him. At first, he really felt some shivers, but then he got used to it. Still, things started to get noisy after a while.

"One of the last heirs of our royal family…"

"Someone who still works for the people that killed all of us…"

"With all that power that he has, and he still is a coward…"

Aion furrowed his eyebrows… a lot of those guys were bashing him for not doing what they wanted. In any case, it was amazing that they managed to keep their individuality after so long… Aion didn't know much about the afterlife, even though he died once, but he couldn't help but think that it was an impressive feat.

Aion had no idea how many souls entering his body, but aside from making noise, they weren't doing anything. After closing his eyes and focusing, he couldn't quite find where they were, but when he opened his inventory, he found it.

"Over five and half a million souls…" Aion furrowed his eyebrows. "No wonder things were so noisy… in any case, I should be able to silence them by changing classes or transferring them to the inventory of other classes. I needed to keep leveling up this class. After all "

The people below were all confused, and they got even more confused when the body of their leader fell from the sky and Aion above. There was a big mess that Aion had to solve, and it didn't look like he would have to punish those responsible for the suffering of his sisters yet… that is, if Arlana was right.

When Aion approached, a lot of people attacked him since they really were loyal to that woman. Still, he massacred them and quickly showed everyone that they couldn't even scratch him.

He demanded the same things from everyone in the city. Three thousand gold coins, all the riches of the leader of the city, and all the Weapons of the city were to be offered to him to show their total submission, and he wouldn't want anything less than that in order to spare their lives. They had three days to prepare all that.

In the meantime, Aion went to the last city of the country and also subjugated the people there. The final of the four leaders of the country tried to escape, but it met his end soon, and then Aion made his ultimatum.

During that week, Aion just made sure that the people there would fill the end of their bargain, and they did it. A single man killed thousands of their soldiers in a couple of days, after all. Resistance was futile…
