Gu Jin's fiery palm print landed on the ground below causing several disciples to release screams of horror and hurriedly get out of the way.
Dai Hee's body appeared to the side having dodged Gu Jin's sudden attack.
Having only destroyed Dai Hee's afterimage, Gu Jin turned and shot him a glare. But internally he was shocked.
Gu Jin had no qualms about launching a surprise attack at someone from behind, but the fact that he missed despite that fact was humiliating.
But it was how Dai Hee dodge his attack, he reacted almost instantly. No, he reacted even before Gu Jin even made his attack. Unless Dai Hee had some superhuman ability to sense when someone would attack him in advance and dodge, Gu Jin didn't know how his attack at the very least didn't brush against his clothes.
However, Gu Jin soon buried his surprise and focused on retrieving Dai Hee's storage ring.
With a flicker, Gu Jin's body shot towards Dai Hee once more. He wanted to end this in an instant before Long Feng and Mai Rong made their move.
"Hand over the pills! You dare take what's mine?!"
However, before Gu Jin could approach Dai Hee, Yang Su's figure suddenly appeared and blocked him.
When Gu Jin saw how Yang Su appeared all of a sudden his heart shook.
'Did he... just teleport?'
Gu Jin was sure he had sensed spatial fluctuations moments ago when Yang Su appeared.
'Impossible! Could this brat be in the Nascent Realm? How could that be?!'
"Do you want to die?"
Yang Su suddenly said as he stared at Gu Jin with a dark look on his face.
Gu Jin instantly felt a wave of killing intent wash over him and his body could help but falter a bit. He stared at Yang Su with a solemn look on his face.
Yang Su raised his hand and then flicked his middle finger towards Gu Jin. At the same time, a large hand made of Metal Qi coalesced in an instant and mimic Yang Su's actions.
The scene that played out next resemble the hand of a giant trying to flick away an annoying bug.
Gu Jin reacted quickly by pushing out his palm creating an equally large hand made of Fire Qi, but the flick instantly destroyed his fire palm and slammed against his body.
Gu Jin was knocked back several meters in the air but he soon manage to stabilize himself. After forcing down a mouth full of blood he stared at Yang Su with killing intent swirling in his eyes.
Gu Jin didn't lose that exchange because he was weaker than Yang Su. It was just that Yang Su's ability to cast powerful spells in an instant caught Gu Jin off guard. From his fire palm effortlessly being destroyed, one could tell he was nowhere near Yang Su's level in speed and power for a Spell Caster.
However, Gu Jin found this hard to believe. He was a Spell Caster and no one on the Fire Bound Continent was his equal when casting spells, even in Martial Arts he was unmatched.
Gu Jin was so powerful he could defeat most people his age with a single spell. But what was this? The first person he clashed against outside of his Continent was able to win against him in a direct clash of spells?
Was he a mere frag in the bottom of a well?
Gu Jin gritted his teeth, he refused to believe such a thing.
In his anger, Gu Jin let his cultivation base at the late-stage Core Formation Realm leak out. The space around his body warped and twisted while the pavilion began quaking.
Yang Su seeing this simply narrowed his eyes.
However, Mai Rong suddenly appeared next to Gu Jin followed by Long Feng.
After looking over at an enrage Gu Jin, Mai Rong could be heard laughing as she said.
"To lose in an area you specialize in must humiliating for you."
Mai Rong's words dug beneath Gu Jin's skin and he became even more vexed.
"I'll kill him."
Gu Jin said coldly, meanwhile, Lu Shin flew up and came next to Yang Su and Dai Hee.
The mysterious Long Feng along with Gu Jin and Mai Rong on one side, while the number one genius Lu Shin along with the Masked Prophet was on the other,
There was also Yang Su, but they didn't know who he was asides from the fact he had defeated Sol Anang in two steps, but from his clash with Gu Jin moments ago, anyone could see he might be on par with him.
Everyone in the pavilion held their breaths.
A few people stayed to see this drama unfold but some made rushed to get out of the pavilion out of fear.
"If you hand over the pills right now I'll let you off. If you don't then don't blame me for what happens next."
As Long Feng said that, Gu Jin and Mai Rong remained silent.
In response, Lu Shin snorted and said.
"If you want them, come get them."
Long Feng's head snapped towards Lu Shin and he said coldly.
"You, do you dare go against me despite knowing the consequences?"
While picking at his ear Lu Shin said.
"What consequences? You were that arrogant person who came strutting into my Lu Clan a few years back, right? I get it, I really do get it. You were some no-name over on the Central Continent but after coming here you think you can throw your status around and look down on us in this backwater sub-region."
Everyone in the pavilion upon hearing this either became confused or looked at Long Feng completely shocked.
"HAHAHAHA!!"
Long Feng couldn't help but raise his head to the ceiling and let out a loud laugh.
It wasn't that he was laughing from anger but sheer contempt.
After he finished laughing, Long Feng even wiped a small tear from his eyes. He then looked at Lu Shin and said.
"I admit you've reached far into our way of Cultivating despite abolishing your previous cultivation and starting over."
Lu Shin visibly stiffen when he heard that. A few youths in the pavilions, however, felt like they missed heard Long Feng speak.
Lu Shin abolished his cultivation and started over?
That was absurd!
These youths could not accept this fact. They were the geniuses from the Star Bound Continent that had either lost to Lu Shin after challenging him in a fight or had gotten beaten up by him after they tried to court Lu Yue.
But if what this mysterious person said was true and Lu Shin had really restarted his cultivation, then how is he still so powerful to stand above everyone in his generation?
There should have been some gap in power between him and those in his generation!

Even Gu Jin and Mai Rong were looking at Lu Shin, of course, they had read reports about their neighboring Continents before they came. They knew of his reputation.

Long Feng said after seeing Lu Shin glaring at him.
