Like an angry lioness, she stomped her way past a pale-faced Yang Su and headed towards the main dining area of the mansion.
As she walked by Yang Su, she shot a glance in his direction which made his entire body go rigid from freight.
After the girl was out of sight, Yang Su couldn’t help but swallow a large gulp. His back was completely soaked with sweat, and he could hear the echo of his racing heart in his ears as it pounded violently against his chest.
“What a frightening lady, are all women cultivators as scary as she is?”
After saying that Yang Su realized that his mouth was extremely dry.
“All I did was say a few words to her and she became so enraged that she destroyed our courtyard’s gates, and almost killed me in the process.”
As Yang Su said that, his gaze landed on the gate laying on the ground. Seeing the damage her one kick did to the massive steel structure, Yang Su shivered at the thought of what would have happened if he hadn’t decided to get out of the way.
After a while, Yang Su turn in the direction of the main dining area, and hearing nothing but silence, he felt worried.

When that thought appeared in Yang Su’s mind, he became frantic and the fear he felt towards the beautiful girl vanished as he rushed at full speed towards the main dining area.
Yang Su quickly came upon the last corner that led to the main dining area, but a cold chill went down his spine as the figure of the beautiful girl suddenly emerged from that same corner.
Seeing that his speed didn’t allow him to immediately stop and he was about to crash into her, Yang Su made the decision to quickly stomp on the ground and propel himself into the air.
In one swift motion, Yang Su cleared the eight-meter-high wall to his right.
Landing on the ground several meters away from the wall with a soft thud, Yang Su didn’t even pause his steps to look behind him as he headed for the main dining area.
But despite trying to ignore it, he could still feel the piercing gaze of the beautiful girl on his back.
Looking at Yang Su scurrying off, the beautiful girl snorted and was about to turn around, but she suddenly paused and her misty eyes narrowed.
She then looked at the height of the wall Yang Su just cleared, and her delicate features came together into a frown.
Thinking back on Yang Su’s 4th stage Qi Condensation Realm cultivation level, and matching it with his jump just now as well as his quick reaction when she had kicked down the front gates, her brows couldn’t help but furrow even deeper.

After saying that, Xi Shen raised the cup to his lips and casually took another sip of his tea.
