Now, when Karen fights, she can only use one soul avatar out of all the soul avatars that she had against an opponent.
That means that out of all the soul avatars that she had, she can only use one per match.
But if Karen wins in that match, she will have the right to steal the soul avatar of her opponent.
This might sound as if they made it fairer but they did not.
With over 1,000 soul avatars available to her, Karen has a wide variety of soul avatars that she can use. She can use a different soul avatar depending on her opponent.
This means that her victory was almost guaranteed every match, and she will be able to steal the soul avatars of her opponents. More matches mean an additional power-up for Karen.
What made Fang Yu relieved was the fact that none of the soul fighter whose soul avatar was stolen died.
Karen explained that as long as someone became a soul fighter for a year, he/she can survive without her soul avatar linked to her. That soul fighter will only die if his/her physical body or his/her soul avatar was destroyed.
But a soul fighter without his soul avatar was in layman terms, a cripple. With no soul avatar to back a crippled soul fighter, he/she will have no more chance to fight other soul avatars anymore.
Ricardo also noted that this Karen was an extremely sadistic person. She will physically and psychologically torment her opponents during and after the matches were done.
This led to most of her opponents committing suicide after losing their soul avatars to her.
With this kind of behavior, Karen earned the moniker ‘Karen the Terrible’. But instead of hating her, the audience loved her, citing that she was the ‘model gladiator’.

Fang Yu looked in front of her, and she saw the Karen that everyone was talking about.
“Oh my...” Fang Yu muttered to herself as she saw what Karen looked like.
When she heard the notes of Ricardo about her behavior, Fang Yu thought that Karen would have a muscular body and a scarred face. But the Karen that she saw was different from her expectations.
Karen’s body had perfect curves, which was comparable to Fang Yu’s! Fang Yu could see the great contours of her breasts, her slim waist and her round hips.
As for her face, Karen had glowing eyes, chiseled nose and thin lips. Her black hair flowed upon her back gracefully, showing Fang Yu a perfect beauty that seemed to be not fit on this situation.
The only thing marring Karen’s beauty was her smile.

Before the referee could start the match, Karen’s eyes shifted to Fang Yu.
“How about I make you my servant after this match? After all, you will give your soul avatar to me later anyway.”
Karen’s melodious voice taunted as she gave Fang Yu a cold look. “Surface bumpkins like you should stay where you belong. Here in the Underground, you are doomed to be my servant!”
“Hahaha!” The audience laughed with what Karen said, obviously enjoying what she said. They seem to share the anti-surface sentiments that Karen had.
But whatever sentiments Karen had, Fang Yu does not care about it, since she was starting to get pissed off already.

Fang Yu’s forehead vein throbbed a little as she felt that this woman sure knows how to affect people.
“Do you know what happened to my last opponent? He was the second most powerful gladiator in here. Before fighting him, we made a bet where I will get all his properties if I win and he will get me if he wins. I won, so I took everything he had, including his beloved wife!”
Karen then started trembling with ecstasy as she said,
“His wife looks so damn good! Since she’s also my property now, I made her my pleasure slave! As for the poor gladiator, I made him watch as I play with his beloved wife!” Karen’s tongue even lolled out as she seemed to remember her ‘good times’ with that poor woman.
“Woohoo! If its Karen, even the most beautiful woman will feel lucky to be loved by her!” The audience was not horrified by what Karen said, they even supported her!

“Shut up!” Fang Yu bellowed as she could not take it anymore.
She now realized that this people in the coliseum were all the worst of the worst. All of them were sick in their minds!
They were all twisted perverts who deserve to be punished heavily!
Violence was tolerable for Fang Yu, but for them to support Karen forcing herself on a woman with her husband watching was too much for Fang Yu already.
Karen was surely one twisted b**tard!
“You f**king b**ch! Even my s**t looks better than you!” Fang Yu said with anger. “You want to make me scared? Well I’m not scared of you!”
While Karen and the audience were stunned silly by what Fang Yu said, Fang Yu added something else.
“How about this? If I win this match, I will get you, and if you win, you will get me!”
“Are you sure about that?” Karen looked to be extremely offended by what Fang Yu said. Her face was red as veins throbbed her face. Her whole body was trembling as she seemed to want to tear Fang Yu apart at this moment. “Once I get you, I will make you feel living as the greatest pain ever!”
“Bring it on then!” Fang Yu said smugly. “Oh before I forget, my soul avatar was an extremely powerful one, so I advise that you use all your soul avatars against me. That will be the only way a loser like you can win against me.”
Fang Yu calling her a loser seemed to push Karen to her edge.
“You are calling me a loser? Pathetic wimps like you should not say anything else!” She laughed uncontrollably as she glared at Fang Yu with killing intent.
“You want to face all of them? Well then, suit yourself!”
It was at that moment that the referee said,
“Match start!”
“Sluagh!”[1]
Karen shouted as a gigantic bird appeared behind her. Fang Yu resisted the urge to gag as she saw what the Sluagh looked like.
It looked like a large black bird, with leathery wings and disfigured legs. What made Fang Yu disgusted from this bird was its smell.
It smelled extremely bad, like rotting flesh.
“This is my soul avatar, the Sluagh!” Karen said as she started to look more sinister. “With this soul avatar, I was able to gather my ultimate soul army! Come, see the army that will obliterate you!”
“Wak!” The Sluagh let out a disgusting sound as something came out of its mouth.
What flew out of its mouth was a pale, white guy wearing some violet robes. Before Fang Yu could observe this, more and more ‘things’ came out of the Sluagh’s mouth.
These ‘things’ were assorted, ranging from a horned elephant to a thousand-armed statue.
Fang Yu gulped as she realized that this was the ‘soul army’ that Karen was talking about.
There were almost 2,000 of them, and they all stared at Fang Yu sinisterly. The whole dome then began to tremble as all these soul avatars began to gather their power.
The audience of course were pumped up by what they saw. They continued their feverish shouting as they did not stop shouting.
“Karen! Karen! Karen!”
“Fang Hao!” Fang Yu heard Ricardo’s worried shout behind her. Fang Yu shook her head as she activated her soul avatar.
“Come out, Soul King!” Fang Yu shouted as a majestic figure appeared behind her.
This figure looked like a grim reaper, with its thin body and the large scythe on its left hand. But what made this body looked majestic was the fact that I was wearing pristine white robes and that it had a crown on its head!
This figure, which had the majesty of a king and the terror of a grim reaper was the Soul King!
When Karen saw the Soul King, she felt her Sluagh having the urge to prostrate in front of the Soul King. Not only that, but she felt her control over her other soul avatars rapidly diminishing!
“What are you doing!” Karen’s desperate question was answered by Fang Yu in the worst way that she could have imagined.
“Now that the Soul King is here, come follow him!” The Soul King raised its sickle, and slashed it vertically at Karen.
“Riiiiiiippppp.....”
Karen paused as she felt her control over all of her soul avatars gone! Even her beloved Sluagh was not under her control anymore!
“No!!!” Karen could only shout in despair as the crown of the Soul King glowed and absorbed all the soul avatars that Karen had.
“....”
Karen stared blankly at the floor, still reeling from what Fang Yu did. Even now, she could not believe that all her soul avatars, including her Sluagh, was all gone.
As for the audience, they were also silent, as they saw their mighty champion defeated this quickly.
“Now then.” Fang Yu smirked as she approached the lethargic Karen.
“I guess it’s time that we ‘play’.”
