Chapter 187: Rings
Jieshu’s guess was right because minutes later, Wang Hao was seen riding the hydra towards Huo Huangdi’s ship.
Huo Huangdi whistled, clearly impressed with Wang Hao’s ride.
“Oh my, Wang Hao, I can see that you had a good ride. You mind if I ride the hydra too?” Huo Huangdi asked Wang Hao.
Wang Hao smirked as he jumped off the hydra. He gave Huo Huangdi a taunting smile as she replied,
“I think you should ask for Uranus’ favor if you want to ride this hydra.”
“Why do I need to ask Uranus? Its just a simple ride so what’s the probl- oh no.” Huo Huangdi paled when he saw the Multi-Headed Hydra transform into a beautiful black-haired woman. Wherever you look at it, this hydra was a mature beauty!
“Uranus my love, you know I did not mean that ‘ride’. You are the only one on my heart!” Huo Huangdi’s complaints were ignored by Uranus as she gave him the silent treatment.
“...” Huo Huangdi could only sulk in the corner as he watched the others happily talking with Fang Anwei.
When Fang Anwei started talking, the atmosphere turned a little strained due to her honest words. But everyone tolerated it since what Fang Anwei was saying was the truth and that she only meant good by saying that.
Well, except for one person.
Jieshu, who had been quiet the whole time Fang Anwei arrived, approached Fang Anwei and said to her,
“I don’t like you.”
“...” Silence prevailed as they everyone stared at Jieshu. Wang Hao shook his head as he realized that two incompatible people have met.
One was a no-holds-barred honest speaker, while the other one was an awkward talker. Their pair-up will surely not be cozy.
“I don’t like you too. “Fang Anwei quickly replied, as if it was just natural for her to hate someone she just met. “Why don’t you like me anyway?”
Jieshu replied,
“Wang Hao is my friend, and I felt you getting close to him is not good.”
“And why is that not good at all?” Fang Anwei eyebrows were twitching as she stared at Jieshu. “Wang Hao is not your property. Its not up to you who he wants to be his friend or not.”
“But I feel like you want something from him.” Jieshu’s reply, even though it sounded cold, it felt a little cozy to Wang Hao. “I can see it in your eyes. You want to do something to him.” Jieshu crossed her arms as she said,
“I will protect my friend from people like you.”
“Hahaha! So what if I want to do something to him? It’s not like you can stop me anyway!” Fang Anwei’s eyes were tearing up as she tried to not roll on the floor while laughing. She wiped her eyes as she mirthfully said,
“Do you even know what I want from Wang Hao? I am sure that with your damaged social intelligence, you will not realize it!”
“....” Jieshu was stumped by that. She tilted her head, clearly thinking of it. She gave up as she looked at Wang Hao, clearly demanding for an answer.
Wang Hao then puffed out his chest proudly as he said,
“Fang Anwei of course wants my pure, unadulterated love!”
“As if!” Fang Anwei’s face was red as she smacked Wang Hao on his head. She clenched her fists as she said,
“How did you come to that conclusion? What I want from you was obvious. I want you to help me with our mutual problem!”
“Oh that.” Wang Hao rubbed the back of his head, feeling quite wronged. How can he not be? The way that Fang Anwei worded her sentences earlier made it sound like she wants a relationship with Wang Hao. Turns out she was just talking about their seal problem.
“You two have a mutual problem? What is that?” Roxy asked.
Wang Hao waved his hands, clearly dismissing Roxy’s question. He then looked at Jieshu and Fang Anwei who were still glowering at each other. “Can you please break it up first? We now have a way to go back, and Fang Anwei was here to tell you about it.”
Fang Anwei and Jieshu gave unwilling looks as they separated from each other. Jieshu looked prim as she sat, clearly trying to forget about the matter earlier. Fang Anwei then let out a cough as she stood at the end of the table.
Fang Anwei then told everything that transpired on her encounter with Wang Hao, excluding the bloodline and seals. The dream mist outside were at its peak power when Fang Anwei finished talking.
Everyone looked expectantly at Fang Anwei as Wang Hao said,
“So, can you tell us now how that portal works?”
“Well... this portal that you were talking about was not just a natural portal. It was something that my foster father created.” Fang Anwei looked apologetic as she apologized to Wang Hao. “Sorry if I lied to you about this portal earlier. Its just too important for me.”
“I understand.” Wang Hao himself was a good liar, and he lied for all sorts of reasons. The lie that Fang Anwei did today was almost honorable compared to his. Wang Hao at least has no way to criticize Fang Anwei. “So this man-made portal can bring us to the Underworld?”

Though strangely, Universe Treasures had no sentience at all. Wang Hao does not know why, but they were the strongest treasure that had no coinciousness. That means anyone can use a Universe Treasure as long as they get their hands on it.That was the reason why Wang Hao was able to easily wield the Space-Time Gyroscope.
“So it did not choose you then.” Wang Hao bluntly said.
“Yes, and that is why it was still with me this whole time.” Fang Anwei replied.
“Wait, if you can’t use it, then why are you showing it off earlier?” Wang Hao could still remember that huge portal earlier.
“Oh that? That is not the real portal. I just used my abilities to create a fake portal. As for why I created that fake portal, I wanted to use it to attract treasure collectors. Once they get near, I will beat them and gather their treasures.”
“...” Wang Hao had no comment for that since he was going to also do that if he was in her place.

“Ok then.” Fang Anwei opened her palms, and Wang Hao saw an object made up of three rings looped together. The rings were of three colors, red, black and white.
It was obvious that this was the portal’s real form.
Once Fang Anwei opened her palms, the rings let out a glow as they floated. It seemed to be contemplating something as it ‘stared’ at everyone.
To Wang Hao’s dismay, the object started floating towards Jieshu. But before Jieshu could grab it, the object paused, changing its path towards Huo Huangdi!
Huo Huangdi let out a laugh as he tried to grab the object too. To his chagrin, the object changed paths again, this time towards Wang Hao.
Wang Hao made no effort to grab it since he knew what will happen next.
The object paused once more. Now, it went back to its path to Jieshu. Then it went to Huo Huangdi, back to Wang Hao. Then to Jieshu again.
“What does this mean?” Roxy asked Uranus as they looked at the comical situation.
Uranus replied, “I think the portal was undecided on who among Huo Huangdi, Jieshu and Wang Hao it should choose. It must think that all of them were viable choices as an owner. Since it can only choose one owner, it was now stuck in a loop, forever choosing among the three of them.”
“But how will it choose an owner then?” Roxy grasped her hair as helplessness flooded her eyes. “We cannot go back at this rate!”
Uranus shook her head while looking at Wang Hao. She then assured Roxy by saying,
“I am sure Wang Hao has already a measure for that.” Sure enough, Wang Hao managed to find a solution already.
“If you choose me as your owner, I will polish you with the highest-grade oil there ever was!” Wang Hao’s voice echoed inside the ship, making them stop in bated silence.
The ring which was moving in Jieshu’s direction, stopped and went rushing towards Wang Hao!
Everyone realized what Wang Hao was doing! He was offering the object an extra service! After all, since they all have equal qualifications, only extra stuff can excite it!
Huo Huangdi panicked as he saw the object about to reach Wang Hao. His mind went into overdrive as he shouted,
“If you choose me, I will decorate you with the best design ever!”
The object paused, considering Huo Huangdi’s offer. But it was not moving at all. Huo Huangdi then gritted his teeth as he said, “I will also add some ringlets to hang from you!”
This time, his promise was enough. The object abandoned Wang Hao, as it now rushed to Huo Huangdi.
But before he could snatch it, Jieshu’s cold voice could be heard.
“If you choose me, I and my maids will play with you every day.”
Wang Hao could swear that the object left afterimages as it used its maximum speed to reach Jieshu. It even let out sonic booms as it left Huo Huangdi with his hands outstretched.
It took no more than a moment’s time before it landed on Jieshu’s palms. Jieshu had a small smile on her face and was about to brand it when Wang Hao decided to use his trump card.
Wang Hao smiled, knowing about this object’s attitude. This thing right here was a little pervert! Wang Hao already got its groove after it succumbed to Jieshu.
He then took a deep breath as he said,
“As long as you choose me, the venerable Sage Wang Hao, all the women will be smitten with you. For I am Wang Hao, the master of the Dao of Harem! Join me, and we shall conquer this world with beauties!”

Wang Hao then let out a laugh, feeling the object now lying on his palms. It quivered intensely, as if it was excited on what was to come. Wang Hao caressed it slowly while muttering,
“You will not regret your choice. With you as my comrade, we shall set forth for all the beauties!”
He was so elated that he barely heard Fang Anwei muttering,
“Why did that damn ring did not choose me huh? I am just as talented as that three and I am also beautiful and sexy! Is that damn ring blind or what?”
