Chapter 134: Self-weapon

Ling Tian tensed up as he realized there’s only 3 more hours left until the invaders arrive. Not only that, but he had to acquire the stone fragments within that time limit. He used his stone fragment again to sense where the other fragment holders were.

With the map on his mind, Ling Tian realized that one of the fragment holder was in the forest in the Solstice Kingdom. As for what he was doing there, Ling Tian does not know.

“Hmm?”

Ling Tian however, noticed one anomaly.

Before going to the Tian Ji Empire, Ling Tian attached some tracking magic on all the disciples coming with him. With this tracker, he can approximate their locations.

He felt that Fang Yu was running along with Long Juo. But that was not the thing that he found weird. It was that he found that Shi Poyun’s location was in very close proximity with the fragment holder in the forest.

He sensed that the two of them knew each other, since they seem to be conversing a lot.

“Chance!” Ling Tian realized that he some talking to do with Shi Poyun later. That boy can be easily fooled to give Ling Tian some information.

Then Ling Tian sensed something more urgent.

He noticed that the other fragment holder was rushing towards him now!

Ling Tian smiled as he looked around him. Luckily, he was able to be in a place where there was hardly any people. He can fight to his heart’s content here.

Ling Tian stored the swords he was using inside his storage ring. Those swords that he used earlier were all ‘trash’ swords. They were the standard swords used by normal practitioners. But Ling Tian was no normal practitioner.

In his past life, Ling Tian’s sword formations were not comprised of swords of the same quality. He had the ten-highest quality swords that he had to serve as the core of his sword formation. This in turn, guides the other swords on their positions.

These ten swords were Ling Tian’s self-weapons.

Self-weapons were weapons created from the practitioner’s own body. The basic parts of the weapon will be made from the body parts of the practitioner. Then once the weapon was finished, the practitioner will fuse it with his soul.

Because the self-weapon was originally from the practitioner’s body, it will willingly accepts the soul mixed into it. Once this happens, the weapon itself would have become something like a new body part for the practitioner. The practitioner then can freely wield the weapon as if it was his/her own limb.

Not only that. Because the self-weapon can be considered just a part of the practitioner, when a practitioner grows in strength, the self-weapon grows in strength too. And if the self-weapons end up in the hands of other practitioners, they have no way to wield it since its already branded with the soul of its owner.

But the difficulty of making a self-weapon lies in the fact that it will be difficult to heal the body part that has been lost. That’s why as much as possible, only one self-weapon can be created and that there must be a powerful healing object to accelerate the regeneration of the lost body part. Ling Tian however, was a ridiculous person.

In Ling Tian’s past life, he had created these ten swords from his bones while he was in the First Stage!

At that time, he found a lucky encounter. He fell into a lake underneath an oasis in the Southern Desert. There he found out that soaking in the water can promote exponentially accelerated healing. At that time, Ling Tian knew that this was a once-in-a-lifetime chance to create a self-weapon with no side-effects. He can create one without worrying about his body.

Ling Tian then used the instructions in the holy sword scripture of the Sword Sovereign Sect to make a self-weapon. Once he made the first one, he thought to himself, why not make more?

He managed to create ten bone swords before the lake lost all its healing capabilities. Ling Tian then fused his soul with it, creating the ten bone swords that will be the core of his sword formation.

Everytime he got stronger, his swords got stronger. He remembered that at his peak, his swords can inflict wounds even against a Sixth Stage Practitioner!

With these ten swords serving as the foundation for his 1,000,000 swords, Ling Tian swept the practitioner world under his feet.

But with him dying at that time, he thought he had to make his bone swords again. But to his surprise, his ten swords also reincarnated with him! These swords of his however, became just as small as toothpick, hidden snugly inside his body.

Ling Tian realized that just like him, his swords were also weakened from the reincarnation. He had to get stronger again to make his sword’s prowess reach its peak. With his training until now, Ling Tian was able to strengthen his swords to some extent.

Right now, Ling Tian decided to use one of his bone swords against the arriving fragment holder. Using all ten of them at the same time puts his identity at a big risk. He will only use more bone swords once he determines his foe’s strength.

“Schlaak.”

With his training, Ling Tian managed to perfectly fuse his bone swords on his body. Now, one of these swords was coming out of his right palm.

Ling Tian’s bone swords were not identical at all. Each one of them had their own unique shape and function, giving Ling Tian’s sword formation adaptability against any foes.

Right now, the sword that came out of his hand was a zweihander. Its blade was straight and narrow. It was the longest sword that Ling Tian had, reaching over 2 meters in length.

9 normal swords rotated around Ling Tian as he grasped the zweihander with his right hand. Right now, he used the zweihander to ascertain distance against his opponent.

With both of them at the First Stage, its was the skills in combat that will determine the winner.

He took a fighting stance as he stared at the incoming spirit ship. It stopped and it descend in front of Ling Tian.

The woman with the unrecognizable appearance stepped out of the ship, brandishing her whip as she faced Ling Tian. Her melodious voice tickled Ling Tian’s ears as she said,

“So the stone fragment is actually with you, Ling Tian. If I were you, I will give the stone fragment or else.....”

“Or else what? Are you going to whip me with that leather strip?” Ling Tian mockingly replied.

“Leather strip? Oh, pardon me.” The woman shook her whip, and what Ling Tian saw made him more wary against the woman.

The whip suddenly changed its appearance from normal to creepy in an instant.

It was creepy because Ling Tian saw that this whip was made from human spine!

All the 33 bones were neatly arranged, making the it the eerie whip that Ling Tian can see right now.

He can only swallow audibly as he said.

“You had a self-weapon made out of your spine? How could you even survive that?”

“Oh, I am not telling you. Let’s just get straight to fighting!” The woman drew her hands back and then she sent the whip hurtling towards Ling Tian!

“Well, this better be good” Ling Tian swung his zweihander to meet the whip’s strike head-on.

“Clack!”

Fang Yu on the other hand, managed to reach the place where B**ch had hidden Tang Li. While she and Long Juo were staring at the house warily, they heard the unmistakable sound of Tang Li talking with B**ch.

“Muu... I don’t want to sweep!”

“You will sleep.”

“No! I will....” Snoring sounds came next as B**ch seemed to have put Tang Li on a deep sleep.

“Hmmph, at long last, this brat has fallen asleep. I am so tired with her mumbling about her Sis!” Rustling sounds could be heard as B**ch put Tang Li on the bed.

“Now, what to do? Well I guess I can... hmm?” B**ch tilted her head as she seemed to notice a presence near her house. She held her whip tightly as she jumped out of the window. When she landed on the ground, she saw the flustered Fang Yu and Long Juo looking at her.

“Hahahaha! So, the famous Fang Yu actually brought herself to our hands! Wonderful!” B**ch cackled as she faced Fang Yu and Long Juo. “Now, I can just beat you up and my mission will be done!”

“You b**ch! You will pay for scaring Tang Li!” Fang Yu’s yin sword swished in the air as she gave B**ch a malevolent look.

“Long Juo, go and rescue the baby earlier! I will deal with this b**ch!”

“Oh, not so fast!” Suddenly, two more people went out of the house. Both of them had their appearances unrecognizable as they also held whips on their hand.

With their arrival, Fang Yu and Long Juo now had to face 3 opponents!

“Oh, boy.” Fang Yu muttered apologetically to Long Juo. “It seems like we have been ambushed.”

“The hell? How could you be so calm!” Long Juo said exasperatedly. She hastily sent a divine sense message to the one she was talking to earlier.

“Help us! We are being ambushed now!”

“Oh, is that so? Sorry I cannot help. But you can use this ambush to gain her trust.”

“Hey!”

“....”

Fang Yu and Long Juo sighed as they realized that they have to do this alone.

“Milk.....” The oblivious Tang Li muttered while she was peacefully asleep.

“...”
