"Brother lift is on that side, Why we are going in the wrong direction"
Amara told Alex as she turned around to see a sign hanging on the wall indicating that lift was on that side of the hallway.
She exclaimed to her brother thinking he lost a way and so reminded him of this misstep.
"We are not going to take the elevator ever again, use the stairs daily they are healthy."
Alex froze for a second after Amara mention the lift but quickly increased his pace towards the stairs he used before.
He might never going to use elevators again, Or at least not when he is alone.
"...Oh okay."
Amara was confused by his answer. They both are awakened people, they really don't need to do physical exercise to be healthy.
They can use the spiritual powers in their body to strengthen their body and muscles way more efficiently than exercise ever could.
But she didn't point it out to him, She felt the state of her brother was not normal. She couldn't put a finger on what's wrong but something is definitely amiss.
*Shiver*
"Huh..? Why does it suddenly become so cold? Who notch up the air conditioner?"
Suddenly the temperature in the hallway dropped drastically, surprisingly making Amara shiver in the cold.

Amara was hella confused by the reaction of Alex. He was partially running right now, She didn't understand what he was worried about.

So she tries to remind him that they still have time, It's just about to be an hour after midnight.
It's just when he looked at her wrist watch taken aback as it was showing it's 3:00 AM.
She knows for fact that it's not the 3 AM, Her biological clock telling her it was not more than 1 after midnight.
"Strenge, I think my clock is broken, Hey brother, how about we go and buy a new one? It's been a while since we went shopping together."
Amara drops it thinking her watch just broke, Though it was not common but it can happen.
It's even a good thing for her as she can go shopping with her brother under the pretense of going shopping.
As she said, She pulled out her smartphone to check which are suitable places they can visit.
"Wait? Why even it saying it's 3 AM? Tha- This is not possible, My bio clock never is wrong."
Amara was excited wanting to find places for two of them to hangout but when her eyes fell on the time on screen she paused.
She could not believe it was also saying it's 3 AM. The Watch thing can be explained saying it's broken but not the phone thing.
Her phone is not a normal one, It's one of the few exclusive phones made for the S-Rank.
It has all the normal awakened features but on top of it also has many additional functions, One being it is pretty much indestructible.
Unless S-Rank in purpose attacked it, It would not break nor ever malfunction, It also have direct connection with the satellite networks and has unrestricted access to both normal and hidden part of the internet.
So it can't malfunction but she was also sure her body also can't be wrong, She is S-Rank after all.
But then again this phone can also not be wrong making her confuse what is real time right now.
"Brother, What time is it?"
She asked Alex if he can tell her the answer clearing all the worries in his heart.
He also has a watch and also a smartphone like her, Though it's not made for S-Rank but it is also a limited edition one made for awakened.
So if his phone also says it's 3 AM then she needs to go to her mother and her to check what's wrong with her powers as it's not the simple matter of getting the small thing wrong.

But Amara was in no mood to appreciate the beauty as she was anxious to find what made Alex like this here.
"*Sigh* I am fine."
Alex finally replied to her with a helpless voice, He was still looking at the stairway trying to figure out the solution behind the anomaly.
He just couldn't figure out how this happened? He is far away from the elevator, He even walking in the opposite direction of it.
"How can it be? Look at your face? Tell me what's wrong, This big sister of yours can take care of it."
Amara did not believe it at all when he said he was fine. He is anything but fine right now.
Her brother should have joked and teased right now but he straightforwardly answered her, That means he is not fine.
She now just wanted to know the reason behind his distress so she can eradicate it.
"It seems you can't help me with it."
Alex once again gave her a one line answer and started to have conversation with the system ready to implement any solution it would provide.
After all, Now it seems Amara is no help dealing with the force it was presented here, Meaning the threat level of this thing is more than what he previously thought of it.
Right now all he wanted was to get the solution like before from the system and slip away from here.
He would deal with whatever it is here later, As for now it is not his priority.
"Brother, I am S-Rank beastmaster, I am not weak, I can deal with anything that is bothering you, Please tell me about it."
Amara panicked hearing her brother thinking she is not strong enough to deal with what is bothering him.
She became this strong only because she wanted to protect her brother and now he says she can't do it? How can it be?

Alex crouched down to touch the floor after which he looked up with thoughts in his mind calculating the options of what else he can do about it.

"Then what is it? Tell me the reason brother?"
Amara was still not convinced. If she can't deal with it now then she can learn what it is then find the solution for it.
But she would figure out a way to solve the worry of her brother.
"Is it? Okay then can you tell me how long we are walking?"
Alex raised his eyebrow hearing Amara and so just asked a simple question that without a context does not make sense.
"Tha- It's around 10 minutes, Why?"
Amara could not understand why such a strange question but she still answered him waiting to hear his reason.
"Then tell me why we have yet to reach that stairway?"
Alex turned around, looked directly into her eyes and uttered his 2nd question.
