Immediately, he entered survival mode and threw everything except gaining the most benefits out of the situation and staying alive away from his mind.
“Excellent! This isn’t such a bad event after all. In fact, this is a great, great opportunity to break the entire game in one shot! If I could somehow score ten kills on the Kings, I would definitely become extremely strong!” Elliot’s heart raced excitedly at the golden opportunity that the Game Masters had so generously thrown at him.
And it was just the second day!
“The beasts do not think of me as a powerful competitor that needed to be gotten rid of first immediately. So for the meantime, I should be safe.
Kings are way too powerful for me to kill one on one. I won’t be able to kill many at first, and all the beast cores from the dead would probably strengthen the winners. I need to sneak in a few last hits to gain level. If not, the surviving Beast Kings would probably grow far too strong for me to handle.” Elliot thought.
He flew slightly lower and began to study the battlefield.
The Battle of Kings had truly begun.
Beneath him, two such Kings were already at each other’s throats.
A formidable looking three-headed giant goat that was obviously not a goat because of its numerous sharp teeth and spikes down its body was biting down viciously at a giant’| Tree?
“What the f*** is that creature?” Elliot mumbled to himself as he looked at the two beasts fight desperately with each other. “It looks exactly like a tree! But those viny tentacles are nasty. That three-headed goat is dead for sure.”
The monster tree released a huge number of vine tentacles and wrapped them all around the three-headed goat.
However, the three-headed goat was no pushover to be killed so easily. With a few powerful kicks, it easily tore the vines apart like crispy enoki and broke free from the tree.
GRA-GRA-GRAAHHHHHH!!!
It gave out a mighty tri-roar that was totally unlike a goat and then lowered its head to present its mighty horns at the tree monster. Its horns began to glow different colours.
Red, green, blue, yellow, purple and black.
And then it charged at the tree monster.
Just like a goat.
The tree monster tried to move away to avoid the three-headed goat’s charge, but it might as well didn’t do anything.
It moved so slowly that it barely shifted its huge and heavy body by a meter before the three-headed goat reached it.
JLEB JLEB JLEB JLEB JLEB JLEB!!
All six wickedly sharp goat-horns hit home and pierced the tree monster’s body with a sound that was exactly like horns piercing a body instead of wood.
KREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKEEEEEE!!
The tree monster gave out a plant-like keen and strange green liquid began to pour out of its pierced body.
Its red horn released red-hot tendrils of fire while its blue horn released a powerful liquid that froze everything it touched.
Its green and yellow horns were wildly poisonous and a fatal dose of toxin and venom was instantly pumped into the tree’s body.
Its purple and black horns were extremely corrosive and caused everything around them to immediately decay and break down.
Ravaged completely by so many types of attack, there was no turning back for it.
The tree monster was definitely dying.
But it was a spiteful monster, and would not accept dying alone. So with all of its remaining power, it sent everything it had to attack the three-headed goat who was still stuck in his body.
Vines, tentacles. sharp branches, poisonous pores and all sorts of other tree-parts which could be weaponized began to land on the three-headed goat’s body.
BAM! JLEB! BOOM! SLASH!
GRAHHHH!!
The three headed goat immediately roared in pain and tried to retreat. But a huge amount of vines had wrapped around it again, and with its head so awkwardly out of position, some had managed to wrap around all three of its necks as well.
SQUEEZE!! PIERCE!
More vines and more sharp branches began to pierce the three-headed goat’s body even as it shook all three of its heads violently, trying to disengage but merely succeeding in mangling up the tree monster’s body.
“This is it.” Elliot thought excitedly. “Both of them would definitely die soon. Let me be the one to send them on their way!”
“Red! Frosty! Brock! Giant Armored Mammoths! Let’s go!” Elliot summoned his most powerful companions and dived at the two dying Kings.
“Frost Domain! Ice Beam!” Elliot shouted as he shot straight down at the intertwined giant monsters.
His powerful Ice Beam smashed into the two and dealt them minor damage. However, Elliot wasn’t discouraged. He was a level seventy player trying to finish off two level three hundred beasts. Being able to deal minor damage was already good enough!
By his side, Frosty had unleashed his Frost Domain as well and fired off his own Ice Beam. But aside from making the environment colder and making the enemy beasts move slower, his attacks didn’t achieve anything.
Brock, on the other hand, was a giant bear with a powerful attack. And apparently he was pretty smart too. He physically smashed his body behind the three-headed goat’s heads and caused its six horns to penetrate even deeper into the tree monster!
KREEEKEEE!!!
GRAHHHH!!!
Both beasts wailed in indignance at Brock’s insidious attack!
“GAHAHAHA! How do you like my one for two attack?” Brock shouted triumphantly in Elliot’s public mindspace.
“Excellent! Mammoths! Do that as well!” Elliot cried out as he smashed into the three-headed goat’s back and executed Lightning Slash on it.
With armor piercing and an additionally 5000% damage, Elliot’s Lightning Slash finally did significant damage on the three-headed goat! He ripped out a huge chunk of its flesh and exposed its internal organs and bones!
GRAHHHHHH!!!
The three headed goat roared in pain!
