Ancient level warriors were warriors that had awakened and unlocked the power of their souls.
The key to awakening their souls was the provision of two crucial sources of power for the souls.
The first was providing the soul with a soul power structure.
Prior to awakening, the soul was just a lump of spiritual mush, containing the identity of the body, but without form nor power.
The journey towards Ancient level simply refers to the creation of soul power structures that would allow for the soul to wield soul power.
The second would be to fill the soul power structure with soul power. Once the soul was filled with soul power flowing according to the pathways of the soul power structure, then the soul could be truly considered as an awakened soul.
The soul would be able to continue to expand on its power structure and increase the amount of soul power it contains.
Just like a little baby opening its eyes for the first time. The newborn soul would require nutrients to grow bigger. And as it grows, its power structures need to grow along with it until it reaches maturity.
Every warrior, depending on his nutrient intake and initial formation of his soul power structure, has a different maturity cap.
One with a highly advanced power structure foundation and with highly advanced subsequent power structure enhancement, would definitely far outstrip the Ancient level warrior with only a basic soul power structure and simple subsequent power structure enhancements.
In fact, if the Ancient warrior creates a powerful enough base, it would even be able to create an Ancient Anomaly! A complete domain that would be filled with manifestations of his soul power.
A full area surrounding him where he would become God, with the ability to have complete control over energy within it, be it physical energy or soul power.
As with every endeavor, the setting up of the foundation would be key to future success!
The warrior seeking a perfect crossing from Hegemon into Ancient would require the knowledge on how to create the best and most powerful soul power structure!
And then he would be required to feed his soul with the most nutritious “food”, and slowly advance his soul power structure until it reaches completion, aka maturity.
And thereafter the strength of the Ancient level warrior would depend on the skill his soul could exhibit.
That was how the rest of the universe made their way across the chasm between Hegemon and Ancient level.
But strangely, after spending days mulling and working on the strange Law Runes, Elliot could feel his dormant dragon soul slowly but very surely strengthening!
In construction terms, his Grade S brick and mortar raw materials were slowly being enhanced and upgraded into Grade SS!
And not only that, he felt as though he could sense and control his own soul power better. It was like his eyes were suddenly swapped with Eagle eyes and he suddenly grew two more pairs of arms, with much higher granular control and tactile feedback!
If he wanted to, he would be able to not only create a high quality building, but also include within the building fine and exquisite carvings as decorations!
Elliot was already by far an anomaly.
He already received a powerful dragon soul from the dragon bloodline and ten dragon soul essences from his Dragon Apostles.
There were no Hegemon in the history of the universe with such an advantage. If Elliot successfully crossed into Ancient level, his soul power alone would a complete monster the likes of which the universe had never seen before!
If other Hegemon warriors were trying to build the foundation of a three storey house, Elliot had in him the raw materials and the foundation to build a skyscraper that could pierce the clouds.
And with the strengthening of his soul, he felt as though he could build a skyscraper that reached all the way to space!
“I can’t really feel my soul much.” Jessica Sands said after a little while. “You can already feel your soul?”
“Yes. I can feel it very clearly.” Elliot nodded. “Over the past few hours, I can feel that my soul has strengthened by at least 50%.”
“One of the prerequisites before Hegemons can proceed to try and cross into Ancient level is for them to be able to feel their souls. Only then would they be able to slowly form the soul power structures that would awaken their souls.” Jessica Sands said seriously. “I think you have fulfilled that requirement. If you want to, you can begin your journey into Ancient level!”
“I have no idea on what soul power structure I can make. With m… wait a minute! Why haven’t I noticed this before?” Elliot was stunned as he scanned through the myriad information on Soul Power Structure which suddenly appeared in his mind. “These are information on dragon-soul based soul power structures!”
Elliot immediately summoned his ten Dragon Apostles.
“I need all the information you have on Soul Power Structures.” Elliot said.
Immediately, his ten Dragon Apostles sent out slivers of energy containing densely packed information.
One by one, the slivers of energy entered Elliot’s mind and quickly unpacked themselves.
For the next few minutes, Elliot closed his eyes as he examined the impressive scale of information he got from his Dragon Apostles.
“Strange. The information from the Dragon Apostles are not as good as the information I got from my own dragon soul remnant! They do complement each other though, so it’s still a positive thing overall to gain these information from the apostles. But the question is… just who is this dragon soul for it to contain such powerful information on Soul Power Structure?”
However, as he tried to merge the information from the dragon soul and the dragon apostles together, a startling realization hit him with the power of a freight train!
“These soul power structures… they are similar to the Law Runes!!” Elliot couldn’t help but shout loudly in shock!
