“Hahaha!” Elliot couldn’t help but laugh at their exchange of words.
Kai was but a very, very young being, barely a month old and Elise was thousands of years old!
How ridiculous was it for the young pup to say he could withstand the old hag’s attacks?
“Hehehehe. If I weren’t so lazy to deal with young pups like you, I would definitely teach you a lesson.” Elise Sands cackled at Kai’s provocation and brushed it aside.
Kai merely smiled and remained silent.
Elliot turned his attention to the clone portal which had successfully cloned all of his summoned beasts.
Next up would be his much more powerful tamed beasts.
“Try with something weak first.” Brock suggested loudly. “Send the talkative bird.”
“What talkative bird! I am not talkative! I am just full of expression and joy, okay!” Red shouted loudly in protest even though there are more than one bird around.
And to make things worse, he got riled up over being called talkative instead of being called weak!
“See? This is the kind of treatment that would scar me and my tender heart for life! I am telling you, when I make it big one day, none of you should expect to receive any gifts from me! None of you! And especially you, big fat bear!” Red continued his indignant shout.
All the other beasts chuckled at Red’s antic. He was an Ancestral Grade beast, and far from being the weakest among them.
Brock knew it too, and was only teasing him to piss him off, which he did very successfully apparently.
“Ah. The weakling refuses to volunteer himself. Well I guess the second weakest can go ahead!” Brock rumbled loudly and turned to look at Winter. “Hey wolfie. Go on!”
Winter turned to look at Brock and merely blinked lazily at him.
Whoosh!!
A very powerful gust of ice energy shot out sharply from her and sealed Brock’s mouth with a rock-solid cube of ice!
“Ha! Take that you talkative old bear! That’s what you get for riling up powerful beings like us! Now stay in your corner and keep quiet!” Red cackled and hooted loudly at Brock who was straining with all his might to open his mouth.
He had to use his claw to try and slice the cube of ice open. But even then!
It was to no avail! Winter’s casual ice energy was so powerful after getting a bloodline upgrade that Brock’s sharp claws and incredible strength could not break the ice!
Finally, Brock infused a little bit of Darklight energy into his claws and at last, he was able to slice the ice open.
Winter’s message to him was both wordless and fabulously clear. “I don’t care what my rank is, but wherever it is, you are below me.”
Cool.
Winter is super cool! (No pun intended.)
“Good. Very good. Wait till I get my own bloodline upgrade, I will challenge you and beat you so badly that even your shadow would not be able to recognize you!” Brock growled at Winter, who of course coolly ignored him.
Wu Kong merely shook his head at the two clowns, namely Brock and Red, and walked towards the clone portal.
“Let me go first.” A beautiful red Lynx leapt ahead and blocked his way.
It was Rex.
“As you wish.” Wu Kong smiled gallantly and allowed Rex to cross into the portal first.
As she did so, a powerful burst of light shone from the Lord Grade beast core!
Gracefully, two beautiful Rexes stepped out of the other side of the portal.
Success.
Without missing a beat, Wu Kong stepped into the portal as well.
A much, much, more brilliant burst of light shone from the beast core before two Wu Kongs stepped out from the other side.
And with that, all of Elliot’s tamed beasts got their interest piqued.
The brightness of the beast core corresponds to strength?? Wouldn’t that be a relatively accurate way to see who was the strongest??
“Hohoho! Now let’s see who’s the real weakling here!” Red shouted as he dived into the portal.
As the Beast Apostle of the advanced element – Wind, Red’s burst of light was impressive as well. Above Rex, and only below Wu Kong’s!
“Hahahahaha! See? I am almost at Brother Wu Kong’s level! Fat bear! Come and try if you dare!” Red hooted with glee.
“Hmph! You think I am afraid of you? I am one of Master’s earliest tamed beasts! My contribution level is off the charts, and my secret skill has sublimed! I won’t be weaker than you!” Brock scoffed and leapt towards the portal eagerly.
All of Elliot’s beasts were filled to the brim with confidence, and Brock was no exception!
Whoosh!!
A blinding burst of light shone forth from the Lord Grade beast core once more.
And as expected… It was slightly dimmer than Red’s!
“Waaaahahahahahahahahaha! See? Weakling!! I am stronger! Stronger! Woo hoo!!!” Red was beyond ecstatic!
“Hmph! That portal probably took into account your grade and raised your brightness a little bit because of that! But in terms of combat potential, I will crush you easily!” Brock retorted.
“Wahahahaha! Weak! Weak!” Red ignored Brock’s words and continued to mock him happily.
But then, whoosh!!
A bright light shone from the portal once more, much brighter than Red’s!!
Both Brock and Red’s jaw dropped as the watched two beautiful Winters coolly sit down next to the two Rexes.
And after that, both talkative beasts shut their mouths tightly, allowing the rest of the procession to proceed without much fanfare.
Still, it pigs would fly if that was all it took to make Red quiet for more than a minute. He soon resumed his chatter.
“Wahaha! Ellie! You’re actually quite strong! Well done girl! Wow! Bildies! You all are pretty good too! Awesome! Awesome! Hey moles, you all suck. Practice more! Hohoho! Aldera, you’re almost at my lev- WHAT! Rom! How can you be stronger than me!! Impossible! The portal must be broken! It’s broken!!” Red shouted.
