The strings of fate of the life forms in the known universe exist in a special dimension which only Saints can access and manipulate.

Primals were able to impact them, but manipulating them was completely out of reach. Only Saints could do that.

A person’s life travels inexorably down his/her string of fate. Wherever that string of fate goes, so does that person. Whatever that string of fate goes through, so will that person.

The power of Saints over fate was no laughing matter.

Their power wasn’t to merely subtly or indirectly influence what would happen to their targets in the future.

What they did was to create an immediate environment around the strings of fate which would directly impact the lives of their targets.

If a Saint wanted to bless a person, he would simply create a nurturing environment in the person’s immediate future, and somehow, positive things would occur.

Receiving timely help for an urgent matter, getting an unexpected wave of inspiration, or even suddenly winning the lottery was not impossible.

However, if a Saint wanted to curse a person, it would be even easier. He would simply create a detrimental environment, and the person would experience countless tribulations.

In fact, if the Saint was powerful enough, he could even break that string of fate completely, causing the target to die on the spot.

There was no defence against a Saint’s attack. None whatsoever, unless you’re a Saint yourself.

The stronger the person was, the stronger and more difficult their fates would be to destroy.

Saint DulAkharat dealt with the Shadow Army by burning their fates with his power.

As soon as that happened, the souls of the Shadow Army instantly suffered debilitating pain in all shape and form, causing them to drop to the ground writhing and screaming in excruciating agony.

However, the power of the Shadow Army lay in its extreme ability to duplicate shadows endlessly.

As soon as the first wave of the Shadow Army were taken down, a second and third wave were already forming!

Saint Dul’Akharat could only smile grimly as he continued to burn their shadowy fates to the ground.

WHAM!!

The first attacks of the eighty one Primals reached him.

WHAM! BAM! BOOM!

Horrendously intense lightning bolts, ethereal blasts, supercold ice blades and hyper invasive poison needles rained down upon him mercilessly.

If even a single one of those attacks had landed on a planet, it would have caused the planet to explode.

However, the incredible defensive power his Saint level strength afforded him was way more than enough to resist such attacks from Primals.

Within seconds, Saint Dul’Akharat was surrounded by ever increasing thousands of shadows!

The rate at which the shadows were multiplying and the rate at which Saint Dul’Akharat was burning them down was similar!

“This shadow army skill is indeed annoying. Without a Saint fighting against them, they would be able to sweep across any opposition by sheer numbers.

Even though the shadows are exactly that, shadows of their original selves, they were still exhibiting peak Hegemon to low level Ancient strength.

An impossible task for any universe without Saints to defend against.

Thank goodness I managed to breakthrough recently.” Saint Dul’Akharat said to himself.

“You’re pretty powerful. Your Burning God Fate is extremely potent against the Shadow Army. To think that you’re merely a baby Saint! You truly are the genius of our known universe!” Primal Golden Dragon Soul looked at Saint Dul’Akharat and grudgingly acknowledged his strength.

“Oh? Just this little and you’re already impressed? Could it be that this shadow army spell is your trump card? If that’s the case, you disappoint me too much!” Saint Dul’Akharat laughed.

“I am going to stop fooling around now. I only allowed the shadow army to develop this far because I am curious about their strength.

But now that I know… I’ve had enough fooling around. Your Shadow Parasites can go to hell.”

Saint Dul’Akharat made a grabbing motion with his hand and immediately got hold of several strings of fate which were glowing with a dark glow.

Each string of fate was rather thick, signifying their target’s great strength and influence in the universe.

But Saint Dul’Akharat’s eyes gleamed with extreme determination and he started to pull them apart!

“Arghhhhh!!! You! You’re able to identify the strings of fates belonging to the Shadow Parasites infesting the Primals?? Retreat! All of you, retreat!!” Primal Golden Dragon Soul yelled loudly.

But alas, she was too late!

Rippppp!!!!

All the strings of fate belonging to the Shadow Parasites infesting the Primals were ripped apart!

The Shadow Parasites died instantly without being able to respond in any way.

Not that their response could have changed anything.

“Primal Golden Dragon Soul, for your crimes against the known universe, I hereby sentence you to death.” Saint Dul’Akharat said solemnly as he stretched out his hand once more and grabbed hold of her string of fate.

A power that was above him had personal control of her fate. That was why he wasn’t able to influence her fate in any way, much less kill her through it.

“Hahahahaha! As I have told you, I signed a contract with the Shadow Overlord! He is a power that not even you, Saint Dul’Akharat, could even dream of challenging! I am impervious to your power over fate!” Primal Golden Dragon Soul spread her hands out and turned into her true form, an utterly massive Golden Dragon.

However, her Golden Dragon form was a complete travesty to the glory of Dragons.

Her golden scales were completely corrupted by tiny black stripes which ran across every inch of her body, making her look extremely foul.

Small, stubby tentacles had already started to grow and wriggle around her head and neck.

An aura of ungodliness radiated out of her like a blast furnace in the deep cold of winter.

The worst thing was, her eyes had turned completely black. Nothing left of her nobility and majesty as a Golden Dragon remained.

She had turned completely evil.
