“I see. Let me think about it for abit.” Elliot nodded to indicate his understanding.

“Good. It is not good to be hasty with namings.” Primal Alexander said in approval. “Lady Balastiera, Elliot is about to participate in a mini tournament. May I have the pleasure of having your company as we watch?”

“Of-of course, Primal Alexander.” Lady Balastiera said with obvious pleasure.

“You grace me with your willingness.” Primal Alexander replied with a courtly bow that made him look extremely dashing.

Lady Balastiera blushed deeply.

“Let us go. We are almost late.” Primal Alexander waved his hand around them, and a strange but powerful space energy enveloped them before whisking them away.

One moment they were on planet Earth, and the next moment, they appeared within the rearranged meeting room which now took the form of a massive arena.

“Ah, it appears that we are not the last ones to arrive.” Primal Alexander said pleasantly as he beheld the many Primal eyes which were looking at him with great incredulity, and some with outright resentment.

“Primal Alexander. Isn’t that Elliot Musk, the King Level monster who killed an Ancient earlier today? What is the meaning of this?” A massive white fox around five meters tall hissed in her silky smooth voice.

“I guess the saying “monster lies in the eyes of the beholder” is true.” Primal Alexander sighed and shook his head lightly. “How you can view this handsome young man as a monster when you’re a massive million year old fox yourself is beyond me.”

“Stop deviating from the issue at hand.” The white fox hissed again. “You are cheating. There is no point in this pre-tournament if you field him as a participant!”

“Cheating?” Primal Alexander asked with a very natural show of surprise.

Oh this man was really good in acting!

“CHEATING?” Primal Alexander roared in anger as he unleashed his considerable power over space time and caused their reality to splinter and then revert, splinter and then revert multiple times on their timeline in a grand show of mastery over time and space!

“COME AND SAY THAT TO MY SWORD AGAIN! IT DIDN’T QUITE CATCH WHAT YOU SAID!” Primal Alexander roared like a powerful boar grunting in fury as he unsheathed his Crystal Sword.

The entire room filled with Primals couldn’t help but flinch when they saw Primal Alexander’s Crystal Sword.

If Primal Dul’Akharat was the most powerful Primal in the known universe, the Primal Alexander was the most mysterious.

He had appeared out of nowhere, with a completely indiscernible aura and cemented his position among the Primals using the most ancient and acceptable method ever devised in the history of life forms.

By defeating other Primals.

Three Primals in that room had challenged him before around a hundred or so years ago, and all three had left their respective fights completely defeated.

They all claimed that it had been a really close fight, and they all lost by the thinnest of margins. But there were no spectators, so their claims were unproven.

Alas, there was also no way to refute them, so Primal Alexander had been accepted in the Primal community as a mid-high member in the power tier.

There had been talks of sending a more powerful Primal to challenge him in recent years, but there were no movements yet.

Primal Alexander too, had been content to maintain a low profile, appearing only once or twice in major events to lend his opinion.

He had always been polite, and his insights were always brilliant.

Thus his massive outburst at that moment were incredibly surprising for all the Primals watching in the room.

Would they be able to watch a Primal versus Primal fight before the pre-tournament? If so, it would definitely be the highlight of the day! Snacks! Wine! Popcorn! Bring them all out!

And oh don’t forget to update the gambling page to include good odds on this fight!

Their eyes glinted with anticipation.

Primal Alexander raised his Crystal Sword and pointed it at the massive white fox in a very, very aggressive show of provocation.

If the white fox didn’t respond to his aggression in kind, she would definitely lose face! Her prestige would plunge!

There was no way that she could possibly avoid fighting Primal Alexander at that moment.

And she didn’t try to.

She smiled and stood up slowly.

“Old Wabetto. A fateless zone, if you please. I do not want my little lesson for this punk to affect our little ones.” She said very softly.

“Of course, Primal Kitsune.” Old Wabetto said politely with a smile and then closed his eyes.

A warm glow radiated from his body and lightly enveloped the entire arena.

“I can sustain this zone for five minutes max. Please settle your issues before then.” Old Wabetto said softly with his eyes still closed.

“I owe you one, Old Wabetto. I will give half the loot from his corpse to you.” Primal Kitsune replied with a mesmerizing smile as she stepped forward towards Primal Alexander.

Primal Alexander grinned at Elliot and then said loudly “Watch this grandpa and learn how to deal with annoying old but not dead yet animals!”

He walked into the fateless zone and instantly, Primal Kitsune attacked!

Her body shimmered as she pointed at Primal Alexander.

The entire fateless zone dimmed very considerably and a scorching dryness permeated the whole zone!

Even with her precise control over her power and the fact that none of it leaked outside the fateless zone, Elliot couldn’t help but shudder in terror as he sensed the effect of the scorching dryness from afar.

He knew instinctively that if he were to be caught within it, nothing, not even his Sentient Armor could save him from shrivelling up into a dry husk in an instant!

Within the fateless zone, Primal Alexander merely laughed at Primal Kitsune and shook his head.

“Is pointing at me all you can do? What are you? A baby fox who had just weaned off your mommy? Stop dilly dallying and come at me properly!”
