“So? Why are you here?” Elliot asked again.

“Aren’t you curious how a person from this planet can become as strong as me?” Primal Alexander asked with a mysterious smile.

“It seems like you can’t wait to tell me your story.” Elliot chuckled.

“HAHA! You’re absolutely right. I am bursting to tell you about my story! It’s such an awesome story. Do you want to hear it?” Primal Alexander laughed.

“Fine. Tell me.” Elliot said while rolling his eyes.

“Well, I was quite famous when I was still a mere human here, on this planet.” Primal Alexander began. “People used to call me… Alexander the Great.”

“ALEXANDER THE GREAT?” Elliot shouted in shock. “Of Macedonia??”

“Hahaha! That is exactly the reaction I was going for! It is good that you later generations still know me.” Primal Alexander beamed with satisfaction.

(Author’s Note: Primal Alexander’s backstory is in my first ever novel, Alexander The Great Mage. Do check it out if you want to know more about him! But even if you didn’t, it won’t affect this story at all =D)

“You… Didn’t die due to a mosquito bite.” Elliot said rather lamely as he gaped at the real life hero of the very ancient times.

“Ha! Historians and their sense of misguided irony. They think that it’s fitting for the greatest hero to ever walk this planet to die to the smallest and most inconsequential creature.” Primal Alexander snorted derisively.

If the other Primals could see just how laid back and relaxed Primal Alexander was, they would be shocked! Primal Alexander was usually so calm, so cool, and so collected when he was with them!

“No I did not die to a mosquito bite. I got captured by a bunch of aliens… And please keep this a secret from the other Primals. I was actually captured by aliens outside of this known universe.” Alexander said with a deeply conspiratorial smile.

“Really? So you have a different set of power and energy system?” Elliot asked in surprise once more.

“Ho. You know surprisingly much about energy systems. Chairman El’Taras has been briefing you, huh?” Primal Alexander laughed.

“Well…” Elliot scratched his head with a laugh while not saying anything.

Primal Alexander noticed his hesitation of course, and his smile widened. There was a deep, delicious secret with this boy, he could smell it already! He didn’t live for so many hundreds of years for nothing!

“Yes, I have a completely different set of energy systems within me. I got it when I took over this human body in that other… Let’s just call it multiverse.” Primal Alexander chuckled.

“Multiverse?” Elliot frowned.

“Parallel Universe. Multiverse. Timeline Splinters. There are many names for it. But whatever you call it, it is simply a different universe from this particular one. Well, not VERY different as I suspect that this universe and the one I came from is from the same main branch, at least until my time.” Primal Alexander said thoughtfully. “It’s all pretty difficult to understand. But let’s just say that I am from this planet, just not from this universe.”

Primal Alexander drew his Crystal Sword slowly to indicate his lack of malice, and then unleashed a little bit of his power.

A golden glow surrounded him, which then turned to black, and then it winked out.

Elliot gulped.

His sixth sense had tingled like CRAZY when the glow turned black. But the problem was… He couldn’t feel a single thing physically! It was as though he was wearing a type of Ring of Absolute Stealth!

“He is probably the most powerful being I have ever encountered.” Elliot thought to himself.

As if reading his mind, Primal Alexander grinned and said “I might be able to defeat the strongest warrior here in this “known universe” as they like to call it. Primal Dul’Akharat eh? Heheheh. I can’t wait to actually fight with him.”

“Okay. So you’re from Earth, and you took over a body in a different universe, got a different but powerful energy system. Check. And?” Elliot asked.

“And like you, I rose to great strength in an extremely short amount of time. I was dealing with universe level problems within months. But universe level problems are very, very difficult to deal with. Even right now, I am not done with solving the problem in my own universe.” Primal Alexander said with a deep sigh.

“And so that means that you’re here to…” Elliot said slowly as a rough understanding appeared in his mind.

“Why do you have to master these energy systems? What are you facing back in your own universe?” Elliot asked.

“Every multiverse has their own Prime Evil, their own Main Villain, if you will. In my multiverse, I am dealing with a very tricky Prime Evil that couldn’t be defeated by usual means. My wife, she’s back there holding it back while I explore the multiverses to look for a solution. I think I have found it though… The energy system in this universe is particularly potent. And if I could get my hands on the enhanced version as well, I could definitely kill that beast back home.” Primal Alexander clenched his fist in determination.

Elliot nodded in understanding.

“So you’re here for my secret.” Elliot guessed.

“Haha! No, of course not. Your secret is not a secret anymore. Chairman El’Taras told us about your Life Seeds and Living Armor. We even got our hands on many more Life Seeds already.” Primal Alexander chuckled. “The only problem is, we are very short on Living Armor, and what we have is only enough to boost the power of a single Hegemon. We are holding a competition to see which Hegemon will get that power boost.”
