It was all of Rom and Aldera’s previous attacks, combined into one!
“Blessings of the Wolf Goddess.” Aldera whispered lightly and made Rom completely invulnerable to magic attacks for ten seconds even as she swerved to avoid the massive attack.
At the same time, Kai casted his Darklight Enhanced skills “Explosive Charge” “Chaos Shell” and “Chaos Bind” and “Chaos Strike” and literally exploded forward with extreme speed!
Kai’s Chaos Shell allowed him to absorb all attacks for ten seconds, and rendered him immune to the reflected attack unleashed by the four Hegemons.
Additionally, Rom was also completely immune to magical attack due Aldera’s Blessing of the Wolf Goddess.
The brief window of magical immunity was the key to Kai’s simple yet viciously effective plan.
Take the moment when the strange energy was transitioning from defensive mode to its offensive mode to dash into their formation and deal as much damage as possible before bailing out!
The initial part of the plan worked to perfection.
Much to the Hegemons’ shock, both Kai and Rom charged through the reflected Fireblasts and Azure Lightning Blasts completely unharmed and rapidly appeared before the two Hegemons standing at the front of the formation.
Chaos Strike!
Kai’s broken skill initially multiplied his damage output by a ridiculous factor of 10. However, after receiving and stabilizing Elliot’s Darklight Energy within his body, the skill had been upgraded to provide a mind boggling damage output multiplier of 20! That’s a whole 2000%!
It more than compensated for his slightly lower level compared to Rom’s Peak King Level.
His far more powerful than expected attack caught the first Hegemon by surprise. However, it was still well below the level that would cause him to be alarmed.
The Hegemon sneered at Kai’s puny attack and in an act of arrogance, he didn’t even bother to defend against him!
A split second before Kai’s attack landed on him, a sudden and horrific sensation that severely weakened him suddenly bloomed all throughout his body.
WHAAAMMMM!!!!
Kai’s Chaos Strike struck the Hegemon at the same time Khalendros’ Curse of the Dragon God did!
Kai’s attack which was multiplied by a factor of 20 was enhanced further when the Hegemon was cursed to receive not 1000% more damage as was the original Curse of the Dragon God’s strength, but 2000% after being enhanced by Darklight Energy!
It was a combined multiplier of 400 times!
Like a horribly unbalanced bug in a video game, the originally far weaker Kai dealt a horrific attack which, due to the Hegemon’s arrogance, was left completely unblocked.
“Arghhhh!!” The Hegemon screamed in shock and extreme pain as Kai’s attack ripped out a huge portion of his neck and chest away.
His two friends surged forward to prevent Kai from dealing an additional blow which would surely be a death blow if it landed!
Next to him, Rom dealt a much more modest damage to his target and failed to even cause him to cry out in pain.
But his target’s eyes still bulged out in shock, nonetheless, as he truly didn’t expect a mere King to be capable of dealing such absurdly high damage that exceeded even Peak Emperors!
Nearby, Khalendros and Khellendra were dealing with a couple of Hegemons.
Khellendra had casted Spatial Fortress on their two targets which bought Khalendros the time he needed to respond to Kai’s request for a combo strike.
“Curse of the Dragon Goddess. Brutal Lightning.” Khalendros growled and his Darklight Energy shot into the sky where it broke apart the various runes seeking to manipulate nature energy.
Like a little prince strutting into a room of giant warriors and causing all of them to kneel down in subservience, all of the runes retreated before Khalendros’ Darklight Energy and allowed it to gain control of the skies!
Craaaaaaaackkkkk!!!!
A massive lightning arcing in a thousand different directions bloomed in the sky before falling down on the two Hegemons.
BOOOOOM!!
Next to him, Khellendra had also casted her Spatial Rend on the two Hegemons’ feet in an attempt to cripple them.
RIPPPPP!!
The combo attack, though lacking in killing power, caused the two Hegemons no end of anger and frustration as they were pushed onto the defensive almost immediately.
Khalendros’ Brutal Lightning singed their armor very badly and caused their nerves to tingle wildly.
Khellendra’s Spatial Fortress had first immobilized them for several seconds, and then her Spatial Rend had almost ripped out their feet from underneath them!
“Go all out.” The first Hegemon snarled and swung his sword in wide arc at the two blue dragons.
A thick beam of pure fire energy shot out from it and blasted out towards Khalendros! It was so thick and potent that Khalendros instinctively knew that he wasn’t its match. He was nowhere as durable as the fire energy was deadly.
At the same time, the second Hegemon had swung her sword towards Khellendra as well, and a burst of frozen energy was exploding towards Khellendra at high speed!
Like Elliot, Khellendra knew that she wouldn’t be able to afford taking a hit like that.
Thankfully, Elliot had gifted them with Blink as their special skill, and they easily blinked away from the very deadly attacks unleashed by the two Hegemons.
Blink!!
They appeared behind the two Hegemons.
And for our final Apostle, Frosty the Ice Apostle, was dealing with another Hegemon all by herself.
Although not a full dragon like Khalendros and Khellendra, Frosty was one of Elliot’s most reliable Apostles due to her powerful element and broken skill called “Freezing Field” which, after being enhanced by Elliot’s Darklight Energy, became absolutely terrifying!
Her opponent, though not frozen, was slowed down by so much that Frosty had a very easy time dealing with her!
Not even the Hegemon’s all out attacks could break her free from Frosty’s ultra-powerful Freezing Field!
