Elliot blinked away from a blue giant Hegemon wielding a massive tulwar and appeared behind a pretty little girl playing a flute.

Slash!

Elliot’s claws swung ruthlessly at near light-speed towards her neck, but was smashed away in an extremely timely manner by a series of ice spears unleashed by a third and very beautiful albeit cold looking female Hegemon.

For the moment, they were at an impasse.

All around them, the massive battle involving multiple beings capable of leveling entire cities continued to rage on!

It was a completely unexpected development for Elliot, who was looking to study the camp to look for opportunities somehow and to decide what he wanted to do.

With the Ancients probably already infested by Shadow Parasites, the camp did not qualify as a target for his mission to acquire an Ancient.

However, having an extremely powerful group of Shadow Parasite Infested group of warriors with more than one Ancient within them was too big a development to be left alone, and Elliot had wanted to observe more before making a decision on what he wanted to do.

But the Shadow Parasites had completely smashed that plan to smithereens when the entire camp had stirred into action and started attacking him with extreme prejudice as soon as Elliot got within a few hundred meters.

Even though he had his Ring of Absolute Stealth on, the Shadow Parasites didn’t need to detect him to know that he’s there.

The dead Shadow Parasite which got all of its body fluids on him was all they needed to sense.

Although most of it had faded away with time, enough of it remained on Elliot’s body to light him up like a lighthouse on a stormy night from the Shadow Parasite’s point of view!

The Hegemons and Emperors had immediately charged out towards him with their weapons swinging and long ranged attacks blazing, catching Elliot completely by surprise.

Romarok had tried to intervene by telling them that he too was a Shadow Parasite, but to completely no avail.

Like him many days prior, the Shadow Parasites were in a state of utter frenzy the moment they sensed the body fluids of their dead brother.

But unlike him, they had the upper hand at that moment with so many Hegemons and Emperors.

So they completely ignored him, and even treated him as an enemy! They attacked him along with Elliot! Romarok had no choice but to go on the defensive.

However, Elliot was ridiculously overpowered at the Hegemon level, and he simply blinked away to avoid all of their attacks.

All of the Hegemons, save two who remained to deal with Romarok, and all of the Emperors had immediately swerved to go after him with frustrating accuracy!

Elliot had no choice but to summon all of his beasts to take on the entire camp of twenty Hegemons and over a hundred Emperors.

Instantly, an earth-shaking battle erupted!!

Wu Kong and all eligible beasts had immediately triggered their secret transformations and waded into battle with ear-splitting roars that shook the earth as much as the heavy elementat attacks of the Hegemons and Emperors.

Close to a hundred beasts clashed powerfully against over a hundred Emperors and Hegemons!

Although the fight seemed like a desperate affair with twenty Hegemons fighting with all of their immense strength against Elliot and his beasts, from Elliot’s point of view, it was a relatively casual affair.

He held most of his strength in reserve in fear that the hidden ancients would suddenly show up and lock him down with their attacks.

He would need to burst out with all of his strength to buy himself that split second he needed to blink away.

Likewise, his beasts had also powered up quite significantly after their previous fights, and had all reached the peak of King level!

Coupled with their Darklight energies, they had all gained the qualifications to at least hold their ground against Hegemons, even if they couldn’t kill them outright just yet.

For the moment, the battle was evenly matched.

The Hegemons and Emperors unleashed runes of every kind into the sky to demand nature to obey them and do their masters’ biddings.

However, within a split second, hundreds of those runes fizzled and died as they competed with each other to manipulate nature’s energies.

Only the strongest runes casted by the strongest beings were able to remain in the sky to manifest their power.

And even then, they couldn’t do so for long before they were overpowered by the next full-powered Rune that was cast by another Hegemon.

The sky burned a bright shade of red as pillars of fire scorched at their targets for one moment before turning completely black the next moment as thick lightning clouds gathered and unleashed colossal lightning.

And then as quickly as it had formed, the clouds dispersed to give way to massive gales that struck at their summoner’s enemies with devastating force.

Sometimes, the sky was split into two distinct energy manifestations when two equally strong runes appeared and overpowered the peers at the same time.

It was a hallmark of a large-scale Hegemon level fight in a world of low energy.

All of the Hegemons’ most powerful skills couldn’t take form at the same time, giving rise to a very sporadic offensive flow.

It was one of the main reasons why Elliot and his mere King level beasts were able to single handedly deal with so many Hegemons at the same time!

However, even without depending on nature’s energies, Hegemons were plenty strong themselves, and it was only a matter of time till they break through Elliot’s beasts Darklight energy powered defenses which was at that moment, still marvelously holding back their attacks.

Of course, the above statements held true to all of Elliot’s beasts, except for one.

The star of all Elliot’s beasts, Wu Kong, twirled his massive rod like a magnificent War God and took on two Hegemons by himself.

His defense which was augmented by his Ancestral Grade Armor Set was so powerful that he could completely focus on attacking.
