At long last, after two entire weeks of misery, Elliot was finally able to head out to save Jennifer.
Autumn had left in a huff after concluding her transaction with Elliot. She had unceremoniously dumped Third Senior Sister still bound and gagged by Elliot’s Darklight infused ropes into her Dome Palace and disappeared almost in a blink of an eye.
Elliot had merely chuckled and looked at the five vials in his hand.
The three legendary runes, (he managed to extort two more from Autumn) the Dome Palace and the two dragons were nothing compared to the five incredible Blood Essences he had just acquired!
At first, he had wondered if he should digest the Blood Essences and allow the two blue dragons to enhance themselves using his Life and Death energies.
But he had ultimately decided that rescuing Jennifer couldn’t be delayed any more! Every day that he delayed was another day of torment for Jennifer.
He had to save her as soon as possible!
And so he had stored the five vials carefully and immediately signed Beast Apostle Contracts with the two Blue Dragons.
After informing them of what it all entails, of course.
Khalendros was already teetering on signing the Beast Apostle contract even without the allure of Darklight Energy.
Now that they had practically secured their clan’s future with all the runes that they had just acquired, there was actually no more reason for them to sign the Beast Apostle contract just for the sake of powering up.
Afterall, the runes they had ensured that they would be able to break into Emperor level with relative ease!
But as with all life forms, the fear of missing out being part of what could be the rise of a universe level powerhouse, caused them to seriously consider joining Elliot and then finally deciding to do that.
“Now that the clan’s future is secure, we have more than successfully accomplished what we set out to do. We are free to do what we want!” Khalendros had said to Khellendra, who had remained silent for a while before nodding in agreement.
“Alright. That’s settled then. We’ll win the planet, give the runes to the Elder and then explore the universe with Elliot!” Khellendra said.
“As his Beast Apostles…” Khalendros said the words aloud, and found that it wasn’t entirely a turn off. In fact the words sounded rather… exciting.
“So? Have you guys decided?” Elliot asked.
“Yes. We have. We will be your Beast Apostles.” Khalendros said firmly.
“Awesome!” Elliot said enthusiastically. “I still have Chaos, Dark, Space, Time, Wood, Gold and Earth. Khalendros… You can be Dark. Khellendra… Space.”
“Alright. Let’s sign it.” Khellendra agreed.
As usual, a powerful mindspace descended upon all three of them, and the process began.

As soon as the process was completed, both Khalendros and Khellendra could feel an incredible surge of strength flood their bodies!
“You really weren’t lying about the magnitude of strength increase.” Khalendros smiled with great satisfaction as he finally felt the sensations that he hadn’t felt for so many years – the sensation of growing stronger!
“Strength increase is one thing. With the Blink skill I just gifted you, the way you fight had just evolved. You probably just tripled your deadliness with just that one spell.” Elliot chuckled.
“With such a powerful gain in strength, the number of runes we can include in our River of Runes should have increased significantly as well. But if we want to break through with a million runes, then I think we’re still a long way off. Still, this is excellent already. Thank you, Elliot.” Khellendra said with a gentle smile that was filled with satisfaction as well.
“Don’t thank me yet. The Darklight Energy hadn’t settled completely in your bodies. Once it does, you’ll gain a whole lot of strength. Strength that would allow you to fight with Emperors and kill them easily.” Elliot said.
“The way your Lightning Apostle killed all those Emperors?” Khalendros’ eyes gleamed with anticipation.
“Well, maybe not as strong as him. He was equipped with a powerful Ancestral Grade item set, afterall. But yes, possibly with enough strength to kill three Emperors at once as well.” Elliot laughed.
Wu Kong was an outlier even in a beast pack of outliers. He truly deserved his unofficial status as the leader of Elliot’s beasts!
“Well, now that you’re my Beast Apostles, you should get acquainted with my other beasts. Feel free to jump in and out of the Beast Dimension. You guys don’t have to stay in there if you don’t want to.” Elliot generously told them.
Both nodded, and decided that they would hang out with Elliot’s beasts and try to get to know them so that they could get along well. After all, they were planning to accompany Elliot for a long time!
Whoosh. They disappeared.
Elliot turned to Jessica who had been watching from the side quietly as Elliot concluded his business and then stretched out his hand to her.
“Let’s go. Jennifer awaits.”
