“Yes! Finally!” Jessica whooped for joy after she finished absorbing the last of the Dark Nether Viper Beast Core.
She had been tasked to absorb the beast cores of two hundred Lord Level dark-elemental beasts and fire-elemental beasts EACH for her last system upgrade mission. She had literally dumped every single curse word she knew at the system when she found out.
“Which dumb-assed, bald-headed, pock-faced, flappy-bellied, rotten-toothed, scrawny-legged moron of a Sponsor actually made this upgrade mission? How on EARTH am I supposed to find so many Lord level dark and fire elemental beasts? AND even if I find them, how am I supposed to kill them? What a dumbass! DUMBASS! DUMBASS!!!!!!” Jessica had screamed in frustration.
After moping about for an hour or two, Jessica had finally gritted her teeth and went on to another killing spree to level herself up so that she could be strong enough to kill so many “blasted” dark and fire elemental beasts.
Her luck turned out to be extremely formidable indeed, because within the hour, she had met with a King level fire-elemental beast, a ferocious Flame-Bellied Salamander.
After killing it and absorbing its beast core, she realized that one King level fire-elemental beast core was equal to TWENTY Lord level beast core!
“Ahahaha! So the Sponsor is not such a dumbass after all. Turns out I only need to kill ten King level dark elemental and fire elemental beasts each. Hahaha! Good! Good! What a genius sponsor I have!” Jessica had laughed happily.
She had quickly hunted all the Flame-Bellied Salamanders in the area and completed her quota for ten fire-elemental beast cores, and then some more.
However, hunting for King level dark-elemental beasts proved to be a much tougher mission. She had to hunt long and hard, kill countless beasts over a wide swath of land before finally stumbling upon the Dark Nether Vipers.
When it rains, it usually pours.
For Jessica, it was raining Vipers.
Literally.

A massive Dark Nether Viper had struck at Jessica from atop a huge tree as she was walking by. She had easily dodged its attack and then unleashed her barrage of skills.

WHAM! WHAM! WHAM! WHAM!
Her skills smashed into the poor Dark Nether Viper who hadn’t expected that the weak and delicious looking little girl to be such a thick iron plate! No, not an iron plate. An iron bomb!
It died very quickly under Jessica’s savage and efficient attacks.
But unfortunately (or fortunately?) for Jessica, the massive tree and the few others around it turned out to be a Dark Nether Viper nesting area!
After killing one, all of the other Dark Nether Vipers were immediately roused to battle, and all of them launched deadly killing blows at Jessica!

Jessica had no choice but to take to the skies and slowly pick off the Dark Nether Vipers one by one.
It had been a long and tedious fight, and she had to exert all of her strength to kill a few, escape for a bit to recharge, and then return to kill a few more.
But after killing close to fifteen Dark Nether Viper Kings, she had leveled up to an impressive 310.
“I am a King level life form now!” Jessica had exclaimed joyfully as she gathered all of the Dark Nether Viper beast cores together and prepared to consume them.
That was three days ago.
And now, she was a King level life form with an upgraded system.

Plus all the previous gains… I don’t even know how strong I’ll be! Hahaha!

The Black Phoenix Goddess Aura is incredible… It literally doubles the number of enemies I can deal with.
The Black Phoenix Goddess Flame Strike is impressive. 10,000% damage from a distance is even more powerful than my melee attack!
