Elliot opened his eyes slowly.
As soon as the system upgrade was completed, he could feel a tremendous power blooming from within him.
That power seeped into every little corner of his body and saturated it with a dense energy that started to meld perfectly with his Purgatory Fire Energy.
Even as he opened his eyes, he realized that the slow combination between the system’s energy and his Purgatory Fire Energy was still going on.
“The system has reached a hundred percent completion in the upgrade process, and yet the energies are still melding?” Elliot considered the situation calmly and allowed his body to continue its process.
A minute passed.
Then two.
[Please give the enhanced system a new name.]
Elliot ignored the system’s prompt and continued to sit there quietly.
His instincts were telling him that the opportunity to upgrade his system and his body has not ended yet.
“There are two very distinct power systems within my body now.
The first one is the power granted by the system, which is the Beast Apostle System, manifesting in the various system-generated skills that I have, plus all the contracts with my beasts.
The second one is the power granted by the Red Dragon Blood Essence, which is the Dragon Transformation, which produces Fire Dragon Energy and which manifests in the Nameless Sword Technique.
These two power systems are separate, and my best efforts to combine them had been to power some of the system’s skills using the upgraded version of the Fire Dragon Energy – The Purgatory Fire Energy.
At best, it’s a crude and inefficient combination. Most of the systems are completely separate within me.
Right now, the two power systems are both being upgraded by the mysterious Life Energy and Death Energy.
Within the first Beast Apostle power system, the mysterious Life and Death energy are able to act as energy seeds to upgrade the system under the direction of the AI.
The new upgraded system is a combination of the basic Beast Apostle Energy Seed, the Life Energy and the Death Energy.
At the same time, the mysterious Life and Death energy are also able to directly upgrade the second power system within my body – the Dragon Transformation. The upgrade takes place with the Fire Dragon Energy. The mysterious Life Energy enhanced my Fire Dragon Energy so much that it became violet, and I renamed it into Purgatory Fire Energy. But with the mysterious Death Energy, it would probably undergo another qualitative upgrade.
When that happens, it would become the final version of my Purgatory Fire Energy, and it would be a combination of the Fire Dragon Energy, Life Energy and Death Energy.
And because both the upgraded Beast Apostle System and the upgraded Dragon Transformation share two common energy forms now, they have become compatible.
And right now… the first power system – the upgraded Beast Apostle System, is actually melding with the second power system – the Dragon Transformation?
And the system calls it “system enhancement”?”
As he was thinking about all of these things, Elliot was constantly deconstructing the living armor and feeding the Death Energy to his Purgatory Fire Energy along with the occassional Life Seed.
At the same time, he was also grinding away at the remaining Red Dragon Blood Essence within his body.
The Red Dragon Blood Essence transformed his body at the cellular level, and allowed more and more of his cells to produce Fire Dragon Energy.
Right after the Fire Dragon Energy was produced, the Life and Death energy promptly enhanced them into Purgatory Fire Energy.
That way, Elliot was going through a complete upgrade.
It was like a B class Type R Civic getting a huge S class upgrade to its engine, chassis, suspension and even to the petrol it was consuming!
Although it still looks like a B class Type R Civic from the outside, it was effectively a Type R Civic no longer.
It had become an S class beast!
Elliot stayed in that position for two more days, absorbing the last of the Red Dragon Blood Essence and completely transforming them into Purgatory Fire Energy.
When the time comes for him to fight Rak’Tharos, Elliot would make sure that he is at the peak of his power to completely crush that “bas****”!
While he was undergoing that massive qualitative upgrade, the two dragons and Autumn were having a pretty good time.
Well, for the two dragons, at least. In fact, they were ecstatic!
It wasn’t everyday that the two blue dragons come across powerful Emperor level warriors, and they had both decided to team up with Autumn, for a price.
The price was that Autumn had to impart three compatible and useful Runes to them!
The two dragons were still King level, and they were still in the process of formulating their runes and the sequences. With 3 additional Runes which they could use, they would be able to qualitatively strengthen the quality of their Emperor level upgrade!
Autumn had immediately agreed. Of course she did. She had no shortage of Runes! In fact, she was rather taken by surprise at how easily the two dragons agreed to her request.
For the beyond-wealthy like Autumn, Runes were of no scarcity. Born with a diamond spoon, Autumn had never considered knowledge Runes as a scarce resource. She lived a life that was completely different from the rest of the Universe who considered knowledge of Runes as mega-treasures!
Being a great grand niece of an Ancient level being, Autumn was probably richer than 99% of the universe. Even the high and mighty Void Walkers could not boast having more than a handful of Ancients within their ranks.
And as such, she had all the Runes she needed to create the perfect River of Runes within her body! Rare, epic and even legendary grade runes were all within her reach. With such wealth, it was no wonder that she could achieve the ridiculously rare million-rune River.
“Alright!” She had immediately said. “Here, let me show you all the runes that I know, and you can take your pick. I can’t show you my Master’s Legacy Runes, of course. But I can show you everything else.”
With that, she had taken out a cute pink device and pointed it at the two dragons.
Immediately, a list of all the runes that Autumn knew appeared in their minds.
“WHAT THE HECK? EPIC RUNES?? AND… IS THAT A LEGENDARY RUNE???” Khalendros roared in shock!
