“The Monkey Clan is fighting off two small clans who are probably backed by the ancient clans. Having the Forbidden Box exposed this way would render all of the Patriarch’s previous efforts useless.” Monkey King thought.

With the [Forbidden Box] now in Elliot’s hands, he had to immediately report to the Patriarch. Elliot would probably end up using it, and its existence would immediately be made public once that happened.

They would have to prepare to secure Elliot and his Mystery Box as soon as the Games of Earth was over.

Although the Monkey Clan would be spared from a defensive war, they would still have to commit an enormous amount of resources to try and secure the Forbidden Box.

And without the legitimacy of it being theirs by having it physically stored in their vault.

Overall, it was a bad situation for the Monkey Clan.

“I could help you secure the Forbidden Box, you know.” Jul’Taras casually said to Monkey King.

Monkey King simply remained silent. Responding to her at that moment would mean admitting that the box was the real thing.

“Once we secure it, the box would remain yours. I just need to use it for a few times…” Jul’Taras offered.

Monkey King stared at his information pad intently as though he didn’t hear a single word.

“Although I cannot move my Uncle’s considerable forces for this cause, I do have my own personal guard. And I assure you, my personal guard is more than enough to handle anything the cronies of the Ancient Clans can throw at you.” Jul’Taras continued on. “They can’t deal with the Grand Elders of the Ancient Clans, of course. But I doubt the Ancient Clans are desperate enough for that item to mobilize their Grand Elders.”

“What? This sounds really interesting! What is a Forbidden Box?” Jessica Sands interrupted Jul’Taras forcefully. “Tell me! I want to know!”

“A Forbidden Box is the ultimate Ancestral Grade Item producer. It is able to synthesize various items and increase their grade levels up to the Ancestral Grade.” Jul’Taras explained good naturedly. “Just consider it a high-speed portable Ancestral Item Factory.”

“It’s not something Ancient Clans HAVE to have, but having it would definitely increase the power of their mid-level forces by at least an entire grade. After all, a bunch of King Level warriors armed with Ancestral Grade weapons would be far more powerful than those armed with merely Mythical or even Legendary Grade weapons.”

“I see. And that plain looking box is a Forbidden Box?” Jessica Sands asked Monkey King excitedly. “Come on, Monkey. You can tell us. In fact, if it really is a Forbidden Box, I’ll lend you my strength too! I have five really strong guards as well. I want to borrow it and try to upgrade some of my toys!”

Monkey King looked at the two girls contemplatively.

Having a powerful Void Walker and an Elven Mage complete with their personal guards would be invaluable to the upcoming fight for the Forbidden Box.

For one thing, their personal guards were definitely no joke. As precious princesses to major clans and powers, their safety was of paramount importance, and their personal guards would definitely be at the Emperor level, at the very least.

And for another, it would signify that the Void Clan and the Elven Mages Guild were involved. It would definitely cause the ancient clans to think twice before hitting too hard.

Obliterating the entire Monkey Clan would probably cause an outcry from the other Beast Clans. Sanctions would probably be put in place, and a retaliatory war might even take place. The Ancient Clans had probably taken that into account and deemed it a reasonable price to pay.

That was why their affiliate clans had begun their exploratory attacks on the Monkey Clan.

But killing princesses from the Void Clan and the Elven Mages Guild?

Ancient Clans or not, they would be embroiled in a war for their lives within the week.

“I’ll talk to my Uncle and get him to send over a Hegemon Mage to help out. That’s my final offer. With a Hegemon, you don’t have to worry about losing the Forbidden Box. Securing it would be all but certain!” Jul’Taras threw an extremely juicy slab of meat to the negotiating table.

“Damn it. Fine! You’re good. Very, very good.” Monkey King finally conceded. “It truly is the real Forbidden Box! I have no idea what sort of luck that damned Elliot has, but he truly is stupidly lucky!”

“Yeah he sure is lucky. With that sort of luck, he’s probably more valuable than the Forbidden Box itself. I mean, just imagine what sort of items he will find in the deep mysteries of the universe once he reaches Emperor level and begins exploring the Universe?” Jessica Sands chuckled.

“True.” Jul’Taras said with a contemplative look on her face.

“Let me talk to my Patriarch first. I will let you two know soon.” Monkey King sighed as he began tapping away on his secure communications device.

“Of course. Don’t worry, take your time. I doubt anybody else watching would guess that such a plain box is the Forbidden Box anyway. They would have to wait and see Elliot use it first before they would begin to suspect. And even if they know, they would still have to wait until the end of the games before they can make a move. We are in no hurry.” Jul’Taras said generously with a slight tinge of excitement in her voice.

She glanced at Jessica Sands and they both shared a secret smile.

Both of them knew exactly what items the other wanted to upgrade, and both were feeling extremely excited.
