He had consumed the Nethervenom Red Centipede’s and a Specter Wolf’s beast core, and his body was slowly but surely absorbing them.
In a matter of hours, or a few days on the outside, he would power up and possibly break through to the Emperor level!
And by that time, it wouldn’t matter if the wolves were able to fly or not.
His aura alone would be enough to suppress them and bring them to the ground where they would receive the grand privilege of becoming nutrients for his new Emperor body.
“Frosty! Get the Bangtols here now! The wolves are losing badly!” Elliot shouted in his public mindspace.
“Acknowledged.” Frosty cooly replied.
She fired off a series of mini Ice Beams which hit all six Bangtols precisely on their spiky round heads.
Tri-balled Bangtols were exactly what their name suggested. They were shaped like three balls stacked on top of each other, and they could move in any direction they wanted using their foundational ball.
At over four meters tall each, the Bangtols looked extremely fearsome. And judging by the fact that they had killed a pack of three other Kings without losing a single member of their own pack, they were also extremely deadly.
GRRRRRR TUKTUKTUKTUKTUKTUK!!!
The Bangtols emitted a strange battle cry and immediately went after Frosty who, upon confirming that all six Bangtols were hot on her pursuit, immediately flew towards the Belcher daddy.
“Excellent!” Elliot nodded in approval as everything seemed to be happening roughly according to plan.
A Belcher and a Specter Wolf were down, and the final Belcher seemed unwilling to join the fight. With the Bangtols, the two remaining wolves would definitely be able to at least heavily wound, if not completely kill the biggest Belcher. And when that happened, the third Belcher would definitely act, and Elliot would take his side as they battled the Bangtols and the wolves.
Perfect.
He glanced at the fourth wolf who was still struggling to sit up after receiving Elliot’s full powered Azure Lightning Blast in its unarmored chest area, and then at the final group of four Kings who had just finished their gruesome work of killing a trio of other Kings.
They were not too far apart.
Elliot glanced at Red, who understood his intention straight away.
“I’m on it.” Red immediately said.
“Make it quick!” Elliot reminded him.
“I got it, stop being so naggy.” Red grumbled lightly as he sped off towards the four Kings to lead them to the weakened Specter Wolf.
Elliot nodded in satisfaction and focused his attention on the main event once more.
By that time, Frosty had reached the Belcher daddy and was swerving away up into the sky to let the Bangtols meet their ends.
The biggest Belcher glanced down at the six Bangtols who had appeared in front of him, and then turned back to face the wolves and roared angrily at them!
“Huh? He’s ignoring the Bangtols?” Elliot frowned.
And then his eyes opened wide in shock as the Bangtols opened fire at the wolves!
“HOT DAMN! They can actually fire the spikes out? And why the F*** are they attacking the wolves? DAMN IT! THAT’S A LOT OF SPIKES!” Elliot cursed vehemently.
The Bangtols’ attacks caught the wolves by surprise as well. Like Elliot, they were expecting the Bangtols and the Belcher daddy to get into a big fight.
But apparently not!
The numerous sharp spikes cut through the air at great speed and although most of the spikes missed their targets, a fair amount had found theirs.
And in the case of the fourth wolf, a fatal amount.
A trio of spikes shredded the base of one of his wings and immediately rendered it useless.
AWOOOOOO!!!!
It gave a mournful howl as it fell from the sky.
There was no question about what his fate would be.
CHOMP!
The Belcher daddy struck with explosive speed and swallowed the Specter Wolf whole.
ROARRRRR!!!
The lead Specter Wolf roared in anger and not a small amount of anguish as he witnessed the second of his three brothers disappear into the blasted Corrupted Sedgedoom Belcher.
But there was absolutely nothing he could do. In front of overwhelming strength, the weak had no choice but to swallow their indignancies and accept their tragic fate.
Plus, his wings were slightly injured as well, he needed to retreat!
However, the Bangtols did not survive and thrive by being half-hearted in their attacks. Seeing that the final wolf was still airborne, they fired off another bigger volley of spikes that completely filled the area near the lead Specter Wolf.
No matter where he flew, he would get peppered by the spikes. And being the ones with the largest surface area, his wings would definitely be struck by the spikes.
His doom was almost certain at that point.
The lead Specter Wolf was about to fold his wings and launch a suicidal attack on the Bangtols when suddenly, several powerful ice beams appeared from both his left and right and smashed into a huge swathe of the spikes, flinging them away!
The Specter Wolf instantly reacted and used the space created by the Ice Beams to easily dodge the remaining spikes.
GRARRR!!
Elliot roared at the final Specter Wolf and beckoned for him to follow.
But the Belcher and the Bangtols weren’t going to let him go so easily.
The Belcher grabbed one of the Bangtols with his tongue and then flung it into the sky towards the Specter Wolf!
The Specter Wolf easily dodged the hurtling Bangtol, but he was not fast enough to escape from the fifty or so spikes that shot out from it as it was flying past the wolf.
AWWOOOOOO!!!!!
The Specter Wolf howled in agony as his wings finally gave out. Two spikes had even found their mark in his body, stabbing through his muscular body and causing it to bleed.
