The Frost Wolf's howl announced its presence and the incoming disaster.
Like most castles with walls, Palm Island had a special superhuman warrior unit that was delegated to protecting the walls that surrounded the island.
As soon as they saw the Giant Frost Wolf descend on the island, alarms were rang all across the wall. The Chefron instantly became insignificant since against the Frost Wolf's menacing aura, the Chefron now seemed friendly.
Having fought against other beasts that attacked from the sea before, the wall guard had a specific set of rules to follow on emergencies like this.
On emergencies like this, squads were supposed to attack the said beast even without orders from the Commander to prevent casualties inside the island.
"Aim at the Wolf!"
"Shoot!"

After spending its whole life in the beast plane, despite meeting humans already before now, the massive Frost Wolf had never been to their cities. It was distracted from its main target for a few moments by the city wall.
This act of looking at the walls to the warriors that mounted it was an act of aggression and was why they took the initiative to attack first.
Before they even released the attacks, the enormous Frost Wolf felt their animosity first as it's outlook of these people changed instantly.
"Roar!" It roared as huge specialized arrows and spears that were created to kill beasts of such huge sizes were unleashed by the warriors who manned the wall.
The Frost Wolf stared sternly at the flying arrows before making his move.
The Frost Wolf jumped up before breathing frost into the air.
The next moment, all the arrows that were sent towards him froze in the air. As soon as they froze, they came under its control and under its will orders, the frozen arrows changed direction and flew back to where they came from.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The defense of the wall stood no chance, the frozen arrows and spears collided against the wall with enormous force, slamming holes into it as warriors died in large numbers.
While all these happened, the swift Chefron already slipped behind the defensive line of the island straight into the island to hide.
Not seeing its targets, the Frost Wolf howled one last time before charging at the walls of the island with an intent to ram into it and tear it apart.
"It's coming for the wall!"
"All warriors, aim at that wolf and kill it!"
Whoosh!
Another salvo of attacks was released but they achieved nothing as the Frost Wolf created an ice shield around its body. The arrows and spears collided against it before bouncing back like they had no force.
With enough momentum, the massive wolf finally rammed into the wall.
The wall of Palm Island that stood for decades had a massive hole punctured through it as the unstoppable Frost Wolf charged into the island.
"Contact the palace, inform them about the danger!"
Just a few seconds after the Commander of the wall guard gave the order, the news got to the royal palace as the whole island entered a state of alert.
Though the Frost Wolf revealed just a small part of its strength, they already estimated its strength and knew the threat that it posed to the island.
Queen Bianca and Hestia ordered an evacuation of all citizens to the underground bunkers as she mobilized her full army to bring down this beast.
A single beast sent this island into such a great panic.
Amid all the commotion, the Frost Wolf ignored everything and charged towards one direction, the center of the island where the palace was located.
Legolas was dubious enough to order the Chefron to escape there. Against this Frost Wolf, he knew that his only hopes of survival was relying on the island. The mistake was already made, what matters was their survival now.
Amid it's loud roars and howls, the angry Frost Wolf finally arrived at the palace to meet an army of thousands of superhuman warriors who were prepared for it and ready to do their best to kill it.
With the defense of the palace in mind, the army formed a wedge-shaped formation with 5 faces. Each of the 5 faces had a specific battle unit corresponding to Pugilists, Elementalists, Summoners, support warriors, and subclass warriors.
Both Queens led from the front of the formation as they watched the beast attentively while getting ready to respond to any of its movements.
"W-we need to call the elders…" Hestia stammered.
"But they're in hibernation".
"We need to call them!" Hestia yelled at her sister then together as she led the way, they sprinted underground to a hidden chamber in the royal palace.
While they left, miraculous changes happened to Christensen amid all the chaos and destruction. After contracting the Shadow Hound, though it took some time at first, the effects of the Organic Connection finally started taking effect.
Despite being injured, the Shadow Hound was a bonafide Grade D beast, it became the catalyst for Christensen and Leo to break their limits.
In this moment of disaster, both of them broke their limits and became Grade D powerhouses. Christensen could not relish in the moment due to his achievement though as he looked at the destruction across his home.
"What have I done?"
Just a minute later, a hole was torn open from underneath the palace and from it came 6 elders who were all cloth in dust-filled grey attire.
The 6 elders that formed the Council of Elders of the Palm Island royal family.
This was Palm Island's last defense and surprisingly, one of the Elders was already a Grade C- powerhouse as he commanded his contracted beast to emerge.
Tension for an epic clash filled the air.
