The next morning, Legolas and Christensen woke up to clear skies.
As soon as he woke up, after the victory yesterday, Christensen was even more hyped to start his training. Though it was merely 2 weeks ago when he started training, he could already see his progress and it left him happy.
Legolas stopped him before he could start training though.
"I have a new lesson to teach you today".
"Follow me".
"Oh, ok". Christensen did not know the type of training that his master intended to put him through this time but he was hyped for it nonetheless.
Legolas took Christensen to the edge of the island. As soon as they got there, he placed his hands to his mouth before whistling loudly.
"Hey Kiddo! Where are you?" Legolas yelled.
"You in for some lollipop chocolate?"
Legolas brought out the chocolate that he already made in a lollipop shape before waving it towards the sea, the sea saw movement almost instantly.
Whoosh!
"Roar!" The massive Chefron roared enthusiastically as it swam towards the island from the far distance where it was previously.
Its speed was so fast that it only left white waves in its wake.
"Chris, duck on my signal".
"Ah…, yes master".
"Wait…, wait…, now!"
Legolas and Christensen ducked just in time for the Chefron to leap out of the sea water. Legolas threw the lollipop chocolate up before ducking as the excited Chefron took the opportunity to pounce on it.
It crunched on it and swallowed it on one gulp.
The excited Chefron shook its long tail as it walked closer to Legolas before rubbing its massive body against him, clearly, the beast already missed him.
"Kiddo…" Legolas smiled and rubbed its fur affectionately.
After the escape from Palm Island, Legolas felt the urge from nowhere and gave the Chefron the name kiddo. Since then, it stuck to the beast like glue.
After rubbing the beast's fur to his satisfaction, Legolas instructed Christensen to return to the hideout before mounting the beast as the excited Chefron took him on one of its energy runs around the island.
The Chefron sprinted round the island 3 times before finally stopping to rest.
"Good boy". Legolas patted its head as it rested.
Then he finally turned to face Christensen. "You remember the real reason why I was adamant to get the Chefron?"
"Oh, for your potion?"
"Yeah, today, you'll watch me making the Ultimate Man Potion".
"The potion formula includes 10 Ginseng fruits, Drake fire leaves, Mud Water Leaves, Cafu weed, 10 Elysium Seeds, 3 Pine Leaves and a Crystal time stabilizer".
"The crystal time stabilizer is the main catalyst to keep the reaction stable, it is what makes the potion's effect lasts and I don't have access to it".
"Crystal time stabilizers can only be found in the dangerous depths of the Kunuk Glaciers, we are not ready to go there yet".
"From today, stop all combat training".
"The news of their psychopaths dying won't stay hidden for long. This island will not stay safe for us, we need to leave but before that, I want you to have gotten your 2nd contracted beast already".
"Master the Basic Beast Plane Traveler knowledge in 2 days".
"Yes master, I understand!"
Though he still hated it, on thinking of everything that he already achieved due to putting effort into his training, Christensen was motivated as he picked up the book before facing his fears to continue reading it.
3 days later, Christensen finally learned his 5th basic summoner knowledge.
