Ghost Sentry had a nostalgic expression on his face as soon as he saw the global announcement. In his years of playing a game, he had never been as attached to a virtual reality game as he did with Dominator.
Everything was just too realistic to be true. The graphics, the world background, the NPC characters and their conversations, everything was just perfect. He fell in love with the game in just 10 game days.
"I'm going to miss this game man".
Blue River smiled. "It's just 2 weeks, chill".
"I know but it feels to me like forever". Ghost Sentry said as he looked all around him in awe. "I think I'll miss Legolas even more".
"Aha!" Blue River clapped his hands and rushed closer to Ghost Sentry.
"I almost forgot". He smiled widely. "Congratulations brother, you finally did it! You have received an official invitation to the Blue Autumn Team".
"Ah…!" Ghost Sentry was shocked. "As a professional gamer?"
"Yes, as a professional gamer". Blue River smiled proudly.
"Yes!" Ghost Sentry jumped in joy. "F*cking yes! I did it!"
Both of them celebrated for a few seconds before they remembered that the time was ticking. They were not in much of a rush though since they already set their spawn point long before now.
What was needed from Ghost Sentry now was his signature.
"Take". Blue River brought a virtual contract. "This is the virtual contract, sign it and we'll meet in the real world to finalize the physical contract".
"If you like, we can do everything today and you'll get to meet your teammates". Blue River winked. "You can even get to meet the Sword God".
Ghost Sentry shivered in excitement as he whispered. "Really?"
"Yeah".
"F*cking yes!" He jumped for joy again. "Where's the signature? I mean, the contract…, where is it?"
"Here boy". Blue River soon presented the contract.
Ghost Sentry did not spend much time on it as he rapidly skimmed through it then he put his signature, Leo with an inverted U going in-between it.
"Is your real name Leo?"
"Yeah". Ghost Sentry smiled.
"Ok Leo, welcome to the Blue Autumn Team".
"Thanks boss".
"One thing before we leave". Blue River forced a serious expression on his face as he whispered. "Do not ever tell any other guild or player about Legolas, I have a hunch that he's a main character in the 1st version of the game".
"What of Horny Assassin?"
"Don't worry about him, my colleagues already contacted him".
"Ok boss".
By now, 2 minutes already elapsed, it was time to leave.

Dominator's beta testing took the world by storm.
The adverts of the game already left countless throats salivating like salamanders for the eventual launch, but after the beta testing, the hype for the new VR game rose to a new peak.
News about how awesome the game was dominated news and reality shows, even adults were hyped for the game, it was the perfect platform to escape reality.
Like most successful virtual reality games, once the hype increased to a certain high, the developers created a special team to run the media. Dominator TV soon became the most watched channel in millions of homes.
Today, Dominator TV was once again about to ride the momentum as they set up a show to address the information about the game from the beta testing.
After hours of waiting, 8:00pm finally clocked.
The funky-styled haired youth stopped her on time. "No real names in the show, people know us by our game I. Ds so call us by our game names".
"Ok boss, Sword God Raining Sword". Kate bowed, inducing laughter from the audience.
"So, the spotlight is on you today as the captain and best player of the Blue Autumn Team, what do you think of the new game?"
"Well, it's awesome, I didn't get to play the beta testing but the leader of our guild did so we were able to get a good overview of the game".
"Oh, a guild as big as yours didn't manage to get you a ticket?"
The Sword God rubbed his nose. "Cough…, well, you can say I had a small beef with the club but let's leave that for another time".
Kate didn't press him on that. "So, who is our blonde-haired new face?"
"Oh, that's Leo, he's the new signing of the Blue Autumn Team, he played in the beta testing alongside our guild leader, Jax".
"Wow, he's the famous Ghost Sentry?"
"Huh…, how did you know about his game I.D?"
Kate ignored the Sword God and focused on the new face. On noticing the whole attention turning towards him, Leo fidgeted a bit and scratched his head before asking the same question. "How did you know my game I.D?"
"Oh boy, you'll know soon, play the clip".
The next moment, Leo and Jax's jaws dropped as a familiar clip played. This was the exact scene where the both of them alongside Legolas, the special NPC character soloed the boss level swordmaster and killed him.
But this clip was only supposed to be in the hands of the team, Jax already warned Leo not to reveal it, so how did it become exposed?
"How did you get it?" Jax could no longer keep his silence as he asked.
"We have our ways boss". Kate winked and smiled.
Till the action stacked clip finished playing, Jax was absentminded thinking about what happened. He didn't even listen to the rest of the show.
"So, there you have it guys, Dominator definitely has the potential to become the most popular and beloved VR game of all time".
"If you haven't bought it yet, you'd better do and not miss out".
"Before we leave, our highlight is the Blue Autumn Team's marvelous heroics in getting us a spoiler". Kate placed her hands on her mouth like a funnel and whispered. "The special NPC…"
With that, the show finally came to an end.
As soon as it ended, Jax rushed outside, leaving the others as he dialed a number. It rang for a few seconds before the person at the other end picked.
"Hey boss, wassup?"
"The f*ck you wassuping about? You sent that clip, right?"
"Hey boss, I'm not guilty".
"You f*cking breached a contract!"
"I didn't, I swear boss, I sold it way before you called me for a contract".
Jax rubbed his head as he felt a headache coming. "By the way, how did you get the clip, weren't you supposed to be dead having used all your revive chances?"
"Hehe, it was a miracle. I didn't know it was set, but players in the same faction even when logged out can access what the other players recorded".
"I witnessed your epic battle and saw its potential for money…"
"Then you sold it to Dominator TV?"
"Yes boss, I didn't know they would upload it…"
"…" Jax stared at his phone speechlessly
"Don't worry boss, I told them not to upload it on the net so even if they did it on their show, it can't show on the net right?"
Jax clenched his phone till it cracked. "F*CKING HORNY ASSASSIN!!!"
