It was already a year since the war of Races.
After becoming a Calamity Grade Super, the outcome of the war became more or less concluded as Legolas found a way to return back to the war alongside the Beast King and the Espionage Priest.
Throughout, Ghost had a sad look of resignation on his face.
With Legolas' return, the rabid battle that kickstarted after his kidnap was stopped as all the participants of the war stared at him in shock.
He was no longer the same Legolas that was kidnapped.
As a Calamity Grade, his aura was overbearing.
Even the strongest Calamity Grades of this war including George, the Snow Monkey and Fleet Warlord Elyon felt that they would not win in a one-on-one battle, that was how ridiculously powerful Legolas' calamity path made him.
Like someone said a few weeks back, his existence in this world was an anomaly in itself, he was just an impossible existence.
As soon as the war came to an end, what followed was straightforward.
It was inevitable, a sacrifice was needed to herald the peace and Gaufrid already accepted his fate as he presented his head before the blade.

Legolas ruthlessly separated the Demonic Lion's head from his body.
As blood gushed out even as complicated emotions spread across the whole Minerva Star System, the wind of freedom finally became unshackled to blow.
Led by Legolas, this wind blew everywhere.
He was already shackled by the soul contract and he had no intentions of going against it in the first place. Legolas fulfilled his part of the bargain as the Nak and Ackermann States gave a portion of their territory for the new Beast Empire.
The new Emperor of the Beast Empire was a young Golden Lion, a beast who lived long enough to witness the Beast Coalition but was not influenced by it.
Holdem, the Golden Lion was the beast to lead the others to the new era being directed by the blowing wind of freedom, to an era without beast slavery.
All the goals of the war were achieved.
The Nak and Ackermann States no longer had to suffer and they won the war with as less casualties as possible, the only price they had to pay was the tiny part of their territory that they gave to the new Beast Empire.
And at the same time, new policies were made with strict punishments.
Beast slave trade was officially abolished across the Minerva Star System.
If caught engaging in it, the penalty was death.
After the war, Legolas became a legend of the Minerva Star System as his heroics during the war were broadcasted across everywhere.
He was the one that orchestrated, led, and ended the war.
Naks and Ackermanns saw him as a hero, the beasts also saw him as a hero, he heralded a new era of coexistence into the Minerva Star System.
Of all the participants of the war though, Legolas was arguably the one who benefited most as not only did he get the inspiration he needed to become a Calamity Grade, he also assimilated the high officials of the Beast Coalition.
He now had an army of Calamity Grades at his beck and call.
A month after the Red Deacon became his newest tamed beast, Legolas saw a soul burst out of his tamed beast's body to face him.
He recognized the existence's soul that came out, it was him, ElKing.
ElKing was a gigantic Dragon with 2 long and pitch-black horns.
With narrowed eyes, his soul stared at the human. "The audacity!"
"You dared to tame my Red Deacon!"
"Yes". Legolas looked up at this existence fearlessly.
He already completed his calamity path, paving the way for his journey to the top so he no longer felt any obligations to stay passive.
"You'll be the next tamed beast in my collection".
"…!" The gigantic Dragon was stunned.
"Muahahaha…!" He cackled maniacally.
"Legolas Baron huh? I love your guts; I will remember you".
"Leave your backwater Star System, you're just a big fish in a pond here. Enter the universe and come confront me, I'll be waiting for you to turn me into your next tamed beast".
"I won't disappoint you". Legolas stared back at him fearlessly.
That day, Legolas' new Calamity Grade subordinates developed a new fear for him and it was that day that he revealed his true ambitions to them.

"This is why I recruited all of you, it is the blueprint of a spaceship, a special spaceship unlike anyone you've seen before".
"I want to repair it".
Their eyes widened even more as they looked at the list again. "476 resources to repair it and all of them are extremely rare and invaluable resources, how do you intend to get them all?"
"By becoming the new Gigachad". Legolas grinned.
"I need to repair it". He mused.
"To get answers, I need it".
"But…," George interjected again. "Number 474, 475, and 476, those are the core of the planetary defense measures of the capital planets of the Azure Pantheon, the Warlord Alliance, and the Crimson Dynasty".
This Monkey's eyes twitched. "How do you expect to get that?"
"By becoming Gigachad," Legolas chuckled. "Just have faith in me, we'll do it if we give it our all".
"Get prepared, in a few months, we'll be going to the Azure Auction".
"There, we'll be able to get some of what we need".
As his new subordinates ruminated over the secret that he just revealed to them, Legolas sat cross-legged the next moment as he sank into his own world.
Locked in there, he kept on doing his thing.
After the war and his new batch of class knowledge for his farm crops in the form of the players, the yields were much every single day.
Now was the time to spend.
