Then he finally spoke. "I already signed a soul contract, I don't intend to go back on the contract terms, besides I never had any intentions of killing you". He finally looked at the 2 beasts of the Beast Coalition.
"Like I told you, I sympathized with the beasts just the same way that I sympathized with the innocent Naks and Ackermanns, all I want is a middle ground where a notion of peace can reign".
"Ghost, you indirectly helped me get a powerful new tamed beast so for that I'll spare you for what you did but…," His eyes narrowed. "Never try such a stunt with me again".
Then Legolas finally focused on the Beast King.
"Gaufrid, if you are ready, let's stop the war".
Hearing those words, Gaufrid heaved a sigh of relief, then a smile suddenly appeared on his face.
"What happened?" Legolas inquired.
"Nothing," Gaufrid chuckled. "You just remind me of someone that Ancestor once told me about, a human he said he deeply respected".
"A human?" Legolas was interested. "What is his name?"
Gaufrid smiled as he remembered that moment with his mentor. "His name?"
