577 Encounter with a Titanoboa!

It was already 13 days since Legolas made his way into the special space pocket world, and during this time he already faced countless beasts in battle.
After so much time, his priorities were no longer just the first one that he came with which was getting the inheritance.
His intentions for allying with the Nak State from the very beginning was to get resources to increase his strength, and during the 50 years when the players were in hibernation due to the update, he had been building the foundations for it.
Now, everything finally started aligning together as he planned.
The appearance of the Beast Coalition, the desperation of the 2 ruling states of the Minerva Star System that followed, everything worked in his favor.
Alone, there was no way that he would be able to get access to a hidden training planet like Planet Rockfest, this was the power of connections.
Alone, he would have also never gotten access to a hidden planet like Planet Gogunheim which was one of the most important hidden planets of the Nak State.
His goals for going to Planet Rockfest and Planet Gogunheim was to develop his strength within a time frame of 3 months, it manifested already.
Compared to 3 months ago, as a Grade B+ Demi-God Summoner now, he was far more powerful and could embark in far more risky missions now.
Risky missions like the invasion of the Beast Coalition's hideout.
In essence, he was already prepared to direct the mission that was proposed by him some time ago but what stopped him was time.
His allocated time of 3 months was not exhausted yet.
Legolas wanted to make the most of this training opportunity.
The opportunity that was given to him by President Dunk was an opportunity of a lifetime and he had no intentions of wasting it.
In theory, he had only 7 days remaining to train.
This was not much time but in practical terms, he had much more time.
Since time moved 10 times faster in the space pocket world, it meant that he potentially had 70 days to spend just training in this world.
This extended his training time by an astounding 2 months.
This was why Legolas kept on battling one beast after the other.
The presence of so many Calamity Grade Beasts in this space pocket told him the caliber of environment that he just found himself. This was the perfect training ground to stimulate himself through battle and grow even more.
His intention was while going to the desert to find the inheritance of the Titan Emperor, he would keep on taking training breaks to fight powerful beasts and train towards his intended Calamity Path.
Afterall, his ultimate end goal was to realize his Calamity Path.
With access to so many extinct and powerful beasts, Legolas was able to hone his power every single day until a night ago.
Just a night ago, Legolas came very close to death.
After leaving the lush forest where he first found himself on coming to this world, going further west, he came across a gigantic swamp forest.
Inside this swamp forest, Legolas got access to a whole host of new beasts.
He encountered mutated Mud Pangolins.
Pangolins were mostly beasts with stone affinities but these were a different breed. These beasts mutated so much, retaining their sturdy scales while gaining an affinity for mud that enabled them to attack with it.
Storming their opponents with mud floods, suffocating them with it, they killed most victims that fell into their trap that were not swift enough to escape.
They didn't fear head-on attacks, the defense of their scales was top-tier which placed them as some of the sturdiest beasts that Legolas had ever faced in battle. He killed 5 before continuing his journey through this space pocket world.
5 hours later after the encounter, he met his first Grade B+ beast.
It was a gigantic Hedgehog standing at almost 25 meters tall.
This beast was immensely fast with a lot of offensive power.
Restricting himself to just fusing with Warp Prime and with his Obsidian Spear, Legolas battled this beast for 3 long hours, laying waste to the terrain in the process before he finally won narrowly.
By the time that he won, it was already night.
As he decided to rest to heal from his injuries, that was when he felt it.

Legolas felt his heart skip a beat on seeing this notification.
Without a doubt, this was the alpha beast of this mud forest.
At first, he was confused as he became gripped by panic.
Due to his keen observation abilities both born from Christensen's innate abilities that he got and also Warp Prime's radar, he always saw the Calamity Grade beasts before they saw him.
It was why he had been able to stay alive for so long in this dangerous world.
To not have detected this beast ahead of time despite walking along its territory for so long, clearly, this beast was good at hiding itself.
He barely received the notification when a rumbling started…

This mud forest shook like an earthquake was imminent and the forest was about to cave into the ground the next moment.
It was during the rumbling that he saw it.

His mana was sucked like water as the radar domain expanded like crazy.
With this new vision, Legolas was able to see this gigantic monster.
It was a snake, a gigantic snake.
And not just any snake, it was a gigantic Titanoboa!
This was an absolutely humungous beast that was at least 5 kilometers long!
Legolas could not see its end; it was like it encompassed the whole swamp.
It had dark brown skin that blended perfectly with this swamp forest.
At this moment, this gigantic snake was turning on its belly.
This was what caused the rumbling.
"…!" Legolas watched in shock and awe.
He could tell that this monster could see him but it just could not be bothered to attack an inconsequential human, its only concern was getting a better sleeping position. Yes, this monster was sleeping.
While this monster was moving though, some organisms were alerted.
…
Far away, deep inside Planet Gorr.
There was a gigantic palace and a throne.
Inside was pure white but nothing could be seen by the naked eye, a strange power obscured any type of normal vision from seeing what was inside.
"The venom secretion has stopped". A tender but highly respectful voice reported in the forest.
Silence.
A few seconds later, a deeper voice reverberated.
"WHY?"
"Something disturbed its slumber".
"HOW?"
"Something disturbed our magic formation keeping its slumber".
"DO THE NEEEDFUL".
"Yes, Lord Protector".
The voices faded like nothing happened.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The rumbling continued.
Legolas was rooted to the spot, he could not escape, he could do nothing.
He felt so tiny before this monster that no matter what he did, he felt that a single gesture from it could end his life in the blink of an eye.
Clearly, this Titanoboa was no normal one.
It was stronger than the normal Calamity Grade Beast.
It took more than a minute of this rumbling but like nothing like this ever happened, everything came to a halt as this beast returned to its slumber.
Heaving a sigh of relief, Legolas no longer dared to stay in one place.
His priority changed to getting the f*ck out of this swamp forest.
And now, he was finally close to the edge of the swamp.
Having been keeping track of the Titanoboa monster since, on getting close to the edge of the swamp and noticing that its body didn't extend to here, he was finally able to make an estimate on its size.
This gigantic snake was at least 8 kilometers long!
This was a crazy size for a beast.
Legolas even guessed that it was a Grade A+ beast.
During the past few days of travel though, Legolas noticed another thing, the progeny of the monster Titanoboa were spread across the swamp.
Most of them were Grade B beasts.
More than once, he had gotten the urge to engage one of these beasts in battle to test his current strength and increase his experience fighting different opponents but due to fear of their close by mommy, he dared not attack.
Now, at the edge of the forest though, Legolas became more daring.
2 hours was all it took for him to find and lure over a worthy opponent.
A Grade B+ Titanoboa, this monster was almost a kilometer long.
Compared to its mother, it was still a pup but before Legolas, he felt like he was going up against the World Snake when he decided to take on this beast.

Fused with Warp Prime, he created an illusion that simulated the scent of a freshly roasted beast that was too tantalizing to ignore.
The adult Titanoboa simply could not resist the allure of the smell.
It ventured to the edge of the forest to feast on this delicious meal.
Unknowing to it, an assassin awaited its arrival.
The night was dark like usual.
The breeze was gentle but ominous.
The chirping of birds stopped, even the Owls stopped howling.
Rustle! Rustle!
The leaves danced to the tune of the breeze, and Legolas made his move.
