The 3 men in white froze which in itself was already an abnormal reaction.
Legolas reacted instantly as he used his free left hand to bring out a common-grade dagger before giving them slight cuts through which blood gathered.
The pain stimulated them as they finally looked at him in horror.
"Behave naturally". Legolas stressed again.
Unlike the psychopaths who were already brainwashed by the ridiculous ideologies of the great charlatan, the Clown, the doctors in white who were tasked to brainwash the new recruits were not psychopaths.
Against a normal psychopath, Legolas would never dare try using intimidation tactics since those freaks were happy to die for their cause.
The same could not be said for the doctors and was why he did this.
One of the doctors finally spoke, this one seemed to be the leader. "This is a 4-level underground hideout, the leader is a Grade D superhuman, do you think you can escape after doing something like this?"
Legolas smirked. "I don't give a damn about my life, but do you?"
The doctor was finally intimidated. "What do you want?"
Legolas smiled. "I want that guy on the left with blonde hair. Inject him the tonic to clear his brain of the brainwashing symptoms and to regain consciousness".
The doctor gave Legolas a deep look then he turned to his assistants. "Do it".
One of the other 2 doctors turned around and walked as naturally as possible to where the blonde-haired prince was. The doctor removed the clips keeping Christensen's eyes opened as his blood-shot eyes finally closed.
He turned and gave Legolas a look and swallowed before bringing out the injection. He carefully held Christensen's wrist before injecting it in.
"Careful". Legolas reminded. "If anything happens, you're dead".
"Nothing will happen!" The leader of the doctors growled, making Legolas to send a warning smile his direction.
About 2 minutes later, Prince Christensen coughed as his eyes opened again groggily. Legolas made a signal which only Blue River understood as he came and pointed the other gun at the doctors, taking Legolas's place.
Free now, Legolas walked towards the 3rd doctor who injected Prince Christensen. There, he was finally able to look into the prince's eyes.
"Hey, do you recognize me?"
Prince Christensen may currently be a good for nothing but he was still a Grade E Summoner, his inhuman constitution enabled him to recover quickly.
His eyes soon widened in surprise. "I'm not sure, you look familiar".
"I'm Legolas's friend, he told me to come rescue you".
"Ahh…, Legolas?!"
"Shhh…! We're still in enemy territory". Legolas placated the agitated prince. "I'll save you, just follow my instructions and you'll be safe".
Since Prince Christensen only got to meet his real little kid self, Legolas had no choice but to lie that he was Legolas's friend to avoid suspicions.
After his incredible job in saving Leo, the prince literally already saw him as a superhero and now that he indicated that he was related to Legolas, Prince Christensen heaved a huge sigh of relief as tears poured down his eyes.
With Prince Christensen awake, now came the most important task, escape.
Blue River was the one who spoke first. "Faction Leader, we just exchanged shifts with the other guards, we can't leave this prison room without attracting attention to ourselves".
"And if we stay here longer, there's a high chance of the guards we knocked out being discovered which will compromise us".
"Unless we think of a different escape plan, we're trapped".
Legolas was impressed by this player's thinking. 'No wonder he's the guild leader of such a powerful game guide'
"You're right, but I have a contingency plan".
Once he knew that this was the Swordmaster hideout, Legolas already thought over most of the possible scenarios and already got contingency plans.
During his previous life, one thing that the psychopaths of the notorious Clown Society were known for was their love for the table tennis game.
At this moment when their way to escape was no longer secure, Legolas decided to implement this contingency plan. The enemies were too much, if they had to fight their way out, they needed to stack the stakes in their favor.
The best way that he could think of to do this was nullifying their numbers advantage, and what better way to do this than by utilizing smoke bombs?
"You, come here!"
"M-me?" The doctor shuddered as soon as he was pointed at.
Once he stood before Legolas, he received instructions and though he was reluctant, with his life at stake, he had no choice but to go.
None of the guards paid attention to the doctor as he left the room, they were used to seeing the doctors moving randomly to get their brainwashing tools.
Unlike before though, this doctor walked to one of the table tennis boards that was currently not in use. He smiled at the guards that were close by. "Hey buds, how's the day going?"
"The usual doctor, making sure that no prisoner escapes".
The doctor laughed and walked past the board while in the process casually picking 4 ping pong balls. He walked randomly and picked a piece of foil along the way before returning to the prison room.
Once he returned, Legolas took all 4 ping pong balls. Legolas was about to create a smoke bomb locally using the ping-pong balls method.
He picked the doctors' knife before poking a hole in one of the balls. Using the same knife, he cut the remaining ping-pong balls into small pieces before putting them in the hole of the first ball until it was full.
After this, Legolas looked around before picking a random long tool like a pencil in the room which he sticked into the hole of the ping pong ball.
Once the long tool went in, Legolas put the ping pong ball in the center of the foil square before wrapping the foil tightly around the ball until it took shape.
After this, he finally removed the long tool, the smoke bomb was ready.
Almost instantly after Legolas did this, a glaring alert reverberated.
Wom! Wom! Wom!
A commotion instantly started in this level of the hideout as the guards became alert while the prisoners who were in the process of being brainwashed were interrupted.
"Stay calm, they just found out, they don't know its us yet". Legolas was fast to speak to calm the nerves of the prince, the players, and the doctors.
Like he said, no guard specifically came to their prison room, they simply ran around as they randomly spoke about an intruder.
"Ghost Sentry, go out and join the search for the intruder so as to not draw too much attention here".
"Yes, faction leader". Ghost Sentry soon left and joined the search.
1 smoke bomb was not enough to escape but Legolas had no choice, now they had to ride the wave and hope that their luck shines.
"Blue River, guide and protect the prince".
"Yes, faction leader".
Legolas tiptoed outside alongside Horny Assassin, then he gave the player an order. "Use your Elementalist powers to light a flame under the ping-pong ball".
Horny Assassin struggled but he was able to do just that, then the next moment, smoke started coming out of the hole in the foil that was created by the long tool. Legolas bent and threw the smoke bomb a few meters away.
The smoke spread fast and in no time, vision started being obstructed.
"Now!" Legolas growled and 4 of them escaped out of the prison room, this was after Blue River knocked out the 3 doctors.
"Where is smoke coming from? Find the source and stop it!"
The commotion in this level increased as with their vision obstructed, the psychopaths walked chaotically, occasionally colliding against each other.
In this chaos, Legolas led his 2 faction members and the prince away.
Ghost Sentry already became more or less a sacrifice at this point.
With his expert navigation skills, Legolas soon led them to the staircase that led to the 1st level of the hideout but it was already covered with guards.
"Hey! You 4, what are you doing here? Are you not supposed to be searching for the intruder…?" The guard leader stopped mid-sentence as his eyes narrowed. "Is that a prisoner?"
"Attack!" Legolas pounced on them first as Horny Assassin yelled before following him. As for Blue River, he stayed back and protected the prince.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
With Blue River assisting with the pistols, 5 to 6 psychopaths were soon lying on the ground either dead or injured as they escaped back to the 1st floor.
The only problem was that this time the sound of the gunshots was heard. Dozens of psychopaths trooped towards this direction after finally finding the intruder, they yelled as they hauled attacks at them.
"Stand your ground! We can fight them…!" Legolas's words got stuck in his throat as a muscular swordsman like a giant led the charge in their direction.
The Swordmaster was here!
Legolas felt goosebumps. "Crap!"
