That would be the normal reaction of any sane person.
For centuries, the paths of a Summoner were established for every Summoner in the Minerva Star System. They were established from years of research, wars, and countless trial and error.
Perhaps, in other star systems, there are even more theorized Summoner paths but not in the Minerva Star System.
Summoners followed the well-known paths because it enabled them to save a lot of time for research to invest in training, and also because it gave them a guaranteed path to the Calamity Grade if they were able to meet all the requirements.
Even with these surefire Calamity Paths, very few Summoners could take the last leap to close the distance to the Calamity Grade.
This showed the difficulty of becoming a Calamity Grade Super.
If it was already this hard, which sane Summoner would want to increase the difficulty even more by creating an entirely new and even more complicated path?
Only an insane Summoner would think of that.
To President Dunk and the Nak Admirals, Legolas was ambitious and overreaching and was doomed to fail from the very beginning on his Calamity Path.
The only reason why they didn't warn him yet was because they were in desperate times, and desperate times calls for desperate measures.
Legolas may not be able to become a Calamity Grade with his theorized calamity path, but he could definitely become an immensely powerful Grade B+ Summoner with it.

The Nak and Ackermann States had ruled this star system for millenniums.
During this time, they created extremely deep foundations.
For most of them, rules were made to never use them unless the state was on the verge of going extinct.
These deep foundations were mostly hidden in the hidden planets.
Hidden planets were planets that were isolated and hidden through Ultimate Stealth technology, something that only Beyond Grade A Mechanics could hack and breakthrough without sending any alarms.
There were lots of hidden planets and they held different things.
Some were simply life planets where the whole planet is turned into a gigantic farm that can provide food for the Nak State for decades during war period.
Others were shelter planets in the case of emergency evacuations.
The most important were the blood-tagged planets.
They were of various types.
Some blood-tagged planets were entirely filled with nuclear warheads and antimatter bombs that can be launched by a single command; others were gigantic warehouses for millions of warships.
The presidency post of Nak State lasted 100 years each tenure.
Only the acting President had knowledge of the location of the blood-tagged planets, and when leaving, the relevant memory is always wiped out of each President's head to prevent the deepest secrets of the Nak State from going out.
Legolas was not in a blood-tagged planet though.
Planet Rockfest was another type of hidden planet, one of the training planets under Nak State.
Training planets existed to train special talented breeds of the Nak State. 90% of the current Admirals and Calamity Grades of the Nak State were created from training planets, and Planet Rockfest was one made for Pugilists.
This planet had the best teachers with knowledge on body strengthening.
They had different crazy techniques and medications to strengthen the body, and with just some tweaks, this old Pugilist teachers could also theorize ways for beasts to increase the strength of their bodies, this was why Legolas came here.
He came here to strengthen his body and get total mastery of his Diamond Beast-Body path to maximize the advantage of his Supreme Talents.
For the past few days, he had constantly wowed the prodigy Pugilists here.

The battles in Planet Rockfest pushed the talented Pugilists to challenge each other to death battles in the arena. Of course, before a talent dies, the instructors intervene to rescue said talented Pugilist.
There were 1,231 trainees in Planet Rockfest and winning death battles determines your rank, which also determines how much resources for body strengthening you will get at the end of the month.
Of course, President Dunk already approved everything that he needed but Legolas still fought the other trainees to increase his training efficiency.
Since arriving here 3 days ago, Legolas had fought over a dozen opponents with just his body, using only his physical strength and skills as he was able to rise from the bottom all the way to now fight the trainee ranked #612.

This time, Legolas came closer than ever before to beat this talented Pugilist but like usual, the incredible techniques of this opponent gave him the edge.
After the battle, Legolas learned even more about the perfect Diamond Beast-Body path as he went into further isolation.
During the isolation, he took the body strengthening pills.

These were essential to make sure that his outside body did not become too stronger than his internals, it could easily prove fatal in a high intensity battle.
Planet Rockfest also had a library, Legolas already spent half a day there and it was all it took for him to grow through all their books.
Even as he trained his body with strengthening pills while exercising vigorously for his body to adapt, he also worked on his techniques.
It was very essential for those taking the Beast Combatant and Diamond Beast-Body path, and during these 2 days, he created 2 more Self-Created abilities.
Most importantly of all though, after a week since coming here, Legolas finally felt a feeling of saturation.
Despite not being a Pugilist, he did it.
He finally reached the body strength potential cap for a Grade B Super.
Legolas finally stood up for the first time in 2 days, he stretched properly then he focused on the medal on his neck which glowed blue shortly after.
He took a deep breath. "I want to challenge trainee #612 again".
