Chapter 559 Traitor; the Espionage Priest

"Duhkha".

BZZZ!

Admiral Nathan seemed to be erased from existence.

It was not teleportation since no spatial traces were left in the air.

It was smooth and untraceable.

When he reappeared, he was no longer in any of the territories close to the Nak State or Ackermann State, he arrived close to a certain beast.

He arrived close to the World Camel, the Shelter Priest.

This gigantic planet-sized beast was originally in a deep slumber but as soon as he appeared, the gigantic eyes of this beast snapped open.

Bzzz!

Admiral Nathan disappeared in the air again then he arrived beside this beast's gigantic eyes. For a moment, time seemed to freeze.

Then the originally emotionless and neutral eyes of the Shelter Priest showed emotion for the first time in a long time. His eyes now reflected joy, nostalgia, and relief as he looked at this white bearded and white haired Nak Admiral.

"You came". The Shelter Priest spoke.

This word was not transmitted through sound waves but rather psychic waves. This was one of the abilities of Calamity Grade beasts.

Most beasts gain sentience after they become contracted to a Summoner.

But for wild beasts, they remain feral and wild for most of their lives despite having higher intelligence until they finally ascend to the Calamity Grade.

At the Calamity Grade, there is a transformative change, granting them sentience and the Spirit Sense.

Calamity Grade Supers also unlock the Spirit Sense after getting to their grade, it was an advanced version of an energy check.

Its range varied from Super to Super but it enabled them to see kilometers around them without looking with their eyes, they saw just with their spirit sense.

The Spirit Sense also enabled them to communicate telepathically.

This was what the Shelter Priest did at this moment.

The old Nak Admiral looked at the gigantic affectionate eyes as he smiled.

"Yes, I came back". He replied through his Spirit Sense.

"An emergency came up".

The Shelter Priest only looked at him. "Duhkha is in".

This Nak Admiral floated closer and touched the gigantic body of the World Camel. "Worg, it's been a long time, centuries".

"I really want to spend more time with you but I can't risk it".

"I can't stay out of their radar for too long".

He smiled again. "Hopefully, one day, all these will finally stop after we build our Beast Empire and finally become independent".

The Shelter Priest only let out a rumbling sound in acknowledgement of his words, then patting him one last time, this Nak Admiral went in.

Bzzz!

Silently disappearing again, he entered the planet on the World Camel's back. Instantly after entering the veil of this planet, he no longer kept the fa?ade.

The Nak Admiral's body morphed.

From an old Nak Admiral, he transformed into a Reptile with green scales.

He was a Shapeshifting Reptile. Apart from his shapeshifting bloodline powers, his other powers enabled him to perfectly copy the power of the body that he stole and impersonated, while his last ability was the Ghost Step.

It was spatial teleportation but mixed with advanced Light Magic. By distorting the light intensity around him, he could hide all fluctuations of space that he made while moving from one location to the other.

For centuries, no one had been able to crack this ability of his.

He was untraceable and was why he called it the Ghost Step.

As for his title?

He was called the Espionage Priest.

Alongside the Shelter Priest and the Primate Priest, 3 of them were the very first companions that the Beast King, Duhkha ever made along his journey.

And alongside the Wisdom Priest, they were the only ones that knew his real name, showing how long they had been in this.

The reason why he whispered Duhkha before using Ghost Step to arrive here was because it was an anchor that led him to the direction of the Beast King.

Without an anchor, his Ghost Step could not be accurate.

As soon as he penetrated the atmosphere of this planet and revealed his true self, multiple Spirit Senses focused on him as they appeared one after the other.

Bzzz! Bzzz! Bzzz!

Beast Priests surrounded him in no time.

"Who are you?!" They questioned aggressively.

Most of them didn't even know this strange Calamity Grade Beast!

"Let him through". A voice reverberated the next moment.

It was the Snow Monkey, the Primate Priest.

The others were shocked and confused but they dared not disobey the 1st Upper Beast Priest, they let this strange Calamity Grade Beast through.

5 minutes later…

Inside the Palace of the Beast King, 7 Beasts were gathered at this very moment. 3 of them had confused looks on their faces as they looked at the strange beast while looking at the Beast King for explanation.

The Doom Cow was not a fan of mind games.

"Who are you?!" He confronted directly.

The green Reptile had a neutral smile on his face as he looked at him.

Duhkha rubbed his mane awkwardly. "Doom, calm down".

"Ignore him Ghost, he is a fiery one".

"I can tell". The Reptile nodded with a proud look on his face and a smile as he looked at the Doom Cow. "I saw your work first hand, I have never been more proud of a product of the Beast Coalition".

The Doom Cow only looked at him with narrowed eyes. "Who are you?"

The Demonic Lion finally stood up. "Everyone, this is Ghost, my friend".

"…!" They were shocked!

Duhkha was a lot of things but his most prominent traits were his rigid personality that was formed after decades of suffering and pain, he was never known to have friends, he actually had a friend?

The Demonic Lion's face became serious. "Centuries ago, at my lowest, Ghost stood by me, he helped me fully theorize and start the plan of the Beast Coalition".

"He is the very first Beast Priest of the Beast Coalition, the Espionage Priest".

"From his title, you should know what he is already".

Then, he finally paid attention to his friend with a serious look on his face. "What happened?"

"A complication appeared". He replied calmly.

"Explain".

"There is a Grade B Summoner in Nak State, he is the reason why the Planet Kronic Beam Ring raid was not successful".

"Originally, that alone is not enough for me to risk my identity but what he revealed after is".

"He apparently has prophetic powers". His face turned solemn. "Singlehandedly, he has what it takes to bring down the Beast Coalition, an organization that was birth from all our sweat, suffering, and efforts".

"I can't let that happen and that's why I came".

He held nothing back, he told everything that he knew about Legolas.

By the time that he was done, the Doom Cow was already growling in rage. He wanted nothing more than to directly go there and obliterate this Summoner.

The Demonic Lion was calm. "Prophetic powers…"

"It seems like a badly told lie but it's you…" He looked at the Shapeshifting Reptile. "I believe you".

"So, what will you do?" The Wisdom Priest asked.

"Nothing".

Eyebrows were raised. "Nothing?"

"Yes, nothing". The Demonic Lion smirked.

"We've come too far to stop". He looked around at his strongest and most important Beast Priests. "I don't know how he does it but if he truly has prophetic powers, he would still guess our plans even if we changed them".

"But if he doesn't really have any prophetic powers but is just a charlatan who hopes that we change our well-thought-out plans for a revolution…"

He paused, then he smirked. "Let's give him a surprise".

Seeing the look on their faces, he added. "We always knew that it was never going to be easy, storms come, but we'll pass through them all".

"For Duhkha!" He patted his chest.

"For Duhkha!" They did the same.
