The Snow Monkey was gone.

They almost couldn't believe it.

The Ackermann warriors and champions have never been as shocked and scared as they were today. Despite being completely shaken by the events of today, they still knew their duties and they dared not hesitate.

A large chunk of the warships accelerated upwards in pursuit.

None of the Calamity Grades followed them. Having failed to stop them while they were inside their planet, they knew that pursuing was futile.

The warships charged forward in pursuit.

The old Mechanic was too lazy to say anything to them.

He only looked at the golden trail that was left by the Snow Monkey. 'What a powerful beast!'

As he watched the warships charging out though, his eyes suddenly widened.

He was shocked. "STOP!" He roared.

It was already too late for some.

After the devastating attack of mind power from the Wisdom Priest, the Punisher was damaged and it briefly shut down. Emphasis was on briefly.

This was a defense structure that was built by the very first rulers of the Ackermann State. It was extremely powerful and sturdy, standing the test of time.

As soon as it shut down, it automatically started repairing itself.

6 seconds were all it took for this defense structure to repair itself.

And since they didn't deactivate it, this meant that this defense structure was still on. And now, hundreds of warships were going after the Snow Monkey and the other assassins in pursuit.

What followed was not for the weak-willed…

BOOOOOMMMMMM!

About 200 warships were already comfortably inside it's domain, none of them survived, 200 state of the art warships violently exploded on the spot!

The solar winds obliterated them, not even leaving metal parts behind.

As for those that were barely out of its domain, they also suffered.

The effects of the magnetosphere took center stage.

CREAK! CREAK!

The closest warships could not resist, they were either directly dragged into its domain and obliterated or their metal was simply squeezed into scrap, turning their inhabitants into bloody mush.

The sight was gory and intimidating.

"SHUT IT DOWN!" The old Mechanic roared.

They were finally snapped out of their daze.

The Ackermann warriors in the planetary defense headquarters dared not hesitate as they finally shut it down, but this was only after it already claimed over 300 warships. The sight was chilling.

The worst thing was that the Beast Priests kept on broadcasting everything.

The whole Minerva Star System saw the Ackermann State at its lowest.

Just today, they watched their Presidential Villa get burned down.

They watched as the tyrannical President Dominik was assassinated like a lamb. He could barely offer any resistance.

They saw the rage of one of the ruling states of the Minerva Star System.

5 Calamity Grade Supers, this was a force that could sweep through most corners of the Minerva Star System yet they had it stationed in their capital planet.

This was a show of the Ackermann's power but it still wasn't enough, even after the appearance of a 6th and extremely powerful Calamity Grade Super.

They watched as the Snow Monkey comfortably dueled with the best that the Ackermann State had to offer.

They watched as a Plecostomus, a fish toyed with their Calamity Grades.

They watched as 3 Calamity Grade Beasts dominated 5 Ackermann Calamity Grade Supers, throwing them into the distance to kickstart their escape.

They watched as their famed impenetrable defense was activated.

They watched as the myth of this impenetrable defense was broken.

Today, they learned something, Ackermann State was not invincible.

Then, they watched as the Snow Monkey finally started escaping to regroup with his allies. They watched as all the Ackermann forces tried to stop him.

Then, they watched as this single beast maneuvered through all of them.

They watched as he escaped without them being able to do anything.

Then, they watched as the stealth spaceship accelerated before jumping into warp travel, disappearing from this dimension.

Today was a dark day in the history of Ackermann State.

The aftermath of the 2nd broadcast was instant.

The dread induced by the name; Beast Coalition increased to an all-time high.

Few beast consortiums dared to keep hold of their enslaved beasts, they willingly released all of them, surrendering, begging for forgiveness, and requesting of the Beast Coalition to come carry their brothers.

Planets across the Minerva Star System experienced an unprecedented situation. Everyone was now afraid of having beasts as pets.

In the streets, you could see civilians coming out to release their pets while kneeling to plead and ask Duhkha, the Beast King for forgiveness.

It was a star system-wide atonement of sins.

While all this happened, and as the broadcast already stopped, the old Mechanic finally came out of his mech suit as his magnetic energy crackled around him, enabling him to levitate in the air without his mech suit.

He looked at the destruction all around this planet.

Looking ahead, he briefly focused on the corpse of the late President.

He took a deep breath before connecting to the communication channels of all military outposts of Ackermann state.

"As stated in Section 2, Sub Section 98 of the Ackermann Code of Law, I will assume the role as the Interim President of Ackermann State till this terrorism problem is solved and a proper election can be held".

"We salute you, Mr. President".

Bzzz!

The old Mechanic teleported away alongside his mech suit.

A few minutes later, he was in a meeting with all the surviving higher-ups of the Ackermann State. All the Grade A Supers were also gathered.

Seated at the head of the round table, the old Mechanic looked at them all. "To those who don't know me, my name is Elyon".

"We need to address this terrorist problem".

"I went through the last activities of our late President before his death and I have to say, I was not impressed". His eyes narrowed dangerously.

"As his advisors, how can you allow him make such stupid decisions?"

They all kept quiet in the face of his reprimands.

Right there before them, the old Mechanic started a phone call. A few seconds later, the call was answered.

"President Dunk, this is Elyon, we need to talk".

Silence came from the other end for a few seconds. "Elyon…"

"Long time no see…"
