It was already a few hours since the chaos caused by the Beast King's speech started yet across the numerous posts of the Nightmare mercenary group, they didn't actively join in the battle to resist the beasts yet.
Of course, Legolas had a good relationship with the Nak State through his connection with Champion Onana, but over the years, they didn't grow closer.
The Nak State simply saw the Nightmare mercenary group as one among the thousands of outsiders that were trying to cower up to the mighty Naks.
They may have grown very powerful over this period of 50 years but they never saw them as more than that, just mercenaries.
They never came close to being approved as an army.
Legolas endured all this for 50 years though, this was because he knew the future and he had a plan. For 50 years, he had been finetuning his plan.
There were 13 beginner planets in the Minerva Star System, 7 in the territories of the Nak State with the other 6 in the territory of the Ackermanns.
During the 50 years of growth, all the branches and outposts of the Nightmare mercenary group were created in strategic planets.
Legolas already occupied the 6 beginner planets with outposts of his mercenary group. Another thing that he was cautious of over these 50 years was that he avoided any planet where beasts were enslaved in large numbers.
This saved his mercenary group from the wrath of the rampaging beasts.
While a lot of other innocent mercenary groups and even some armies were embroiled in the chaos led by the extremely powerful beast priests, the Nightmare mercenary group remained intact as they awaited orders from their leader.
It was after seeing the mercenary mission that Legolas' eyes finally gleamed.

'I thought you guys were too proud to call for help'. He smirked.
Another thing that made him smirk was that he did not just receive a mercenary mission from the headquarters in Nak State, another one came from elsewhere, the headquarters of the mercenaries in Ackermann State.

This was a mercenary mission that came directly from the higher echelons of the Ackermann State, precisely the President, they were hit hard.
And yes, the influence of the Nightmare mercenary group did not stop at the Nak State, Legolas already extended his influence beyond this state.
2 years ago, he sent his student to the rival state of the Naks.
There, Christensen built things from the dark on his master's behalf.
No sizeable force was established in the Ackermann State yet, what Legolas rather had Christensen do was to prepare for the return of the players.
Christensen occupied all 6 beginner planets with his subordinates.
As soon as the players returned and as the battle was kickstarted by the beasts, hundreds of millions of players across the Minerva Star System received notification invites of a certain familiar faction.
After Version 2, during the break of the update, Planet Darvis' storyline won the votes for Galaxy TV's best Dominator version 2 storyline.
Army Commander Legolas also won the best main character by a mile.
This shot his reputation to an entirely new level among the players.
Originally, Legolas simply basked on his rising population among the players of Planet Darvis and Planet Austere, hoping they could use word of mouth to spread his popularity even more but he got more than he prayed for.

This was beyond his expectations. 'I never knew I was so famous already'.
Legolas no longer hesitated; he finally accepted the mercenary mission.
As soon as he accepted the mercenary mission, he gave new orders to his subordinates. Instantly, the status of the Nightmare mercenary group changed.
In Ackermann space, Christensen led tons of players to join the fun.
In Nak space, Blade led millions of warriors and players to join the fun.
As for Legolas, Uranus, Sonia, and Nagana, they had another mission.
Taking the fastest light Frigate of the Nightmare mercenary group, they entered warp travel as they rapidly accelerated towards the distant outpost of the Nak Navy that was located in Planet Cloudy Gaze.
Legolas' eyes gleamed. 'I can't miss this battle'.
'I need to give my players something to hype them up'.
'After 50 years, I need to fatten up my sheep for harvesting again'.
'The farmer is long starved!' He grinned.
He was not just going alone, with him in this light Frigate was a familiar face, Horny Assassin was already back to his old job as a videographer just in his first day back in the game, this player felt like the luckiest player in the world.

A small red Frigate came out of warp travel to witness destruction!

Inside Planet Cloudy Gaze already turned into a massive crater even worse than the end product of planet Darvis after the Cataclysm.
The Doom Cow, the Destruction Priest was at the center of this destruction.
A black aura of destruction emanated from this extremely powerful Beast Priest as he was attacked from all sides by powerful Grade A Nak Admirals.
Nak Admiral Zhao led the charge.
BAM! BAM! BAM!
An army of gray powerful mechanics swept through the skies of this planet as they bombarded the beasts, placing most of their focus on the Destruction Priest that was hell-bent on laying ruin to this planet.
Millions of laser beams were unleashed per second.
In his mechanic suit, the War Mechanic attacked personally.
Every shot from his canon launcher was a massive threat not just to the Destruction Priest but to the integrity of this planet.
The canons landed with powerful force of impacts.
BOOM!
Apart from Admiral Zhao, the other Nak Admirals also gave their all in subduing this beast.
From the far right, an old Nak Admiral hovered in the air with magic circles underneath his feet even as a gigantic book filled with arcane energy hovered before him, the pages of this book flipped rapidly.
He chanted incantations and powerful arcane energy followed.
This old Admiral battered the Destruction Priest with spells.
Beside the old Nak Admiral was another Nak Admiral, another Mechanic but this one a Mechanical Pugilist. Only his face could be seen fully, majority of his body was clad in metal as he looked bulky like the Hulk.
He timed his charge to when the only Pugilist in this group charged the Destruction Priest, then he also charged in with power.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
At another side, a fire Elementalist and the only Psychic attacked.
The power of their attacks was evident from the destruction already dealt to this planet, yet the Destruction Priest was still unscathed.
This beast was still as ripped as the first time that it made an appearance.
Every move from the Doom Cow set off antimatter bombs in the air and the Grade A Nak Admirals were wary against it. Even the Pugilist and Mechanical Pugilist had to retreat every time that he released a bomb.
Gathering his energy, this beast's golden eyes glowed brighter even as the necklace on his neck glowed also, his vocal cords reverberated like grating stone.
"I am Duhkha's rod of war!"
BOOM…!!!
He unleashed the energy blast!
A region spanning across hundreds of kilometers was decimated by this attack though the Admirals survived.
The Nak Navy in Planet Cloudy Gaze was already a ruin.
Watching from the skies, Legolas was in awe. 'So much power! This is the power of Calamity Grades!'
This was also why he was here, he already calculated and concluded that rescuing the survivors of the Nak base here would give him more rewards since knowing the Destruction Priest's personality, he had a guess of how it would end.
'If I am not wrong, by the end of today…, there will be no more Cloudy Gaze'.
