When Legolas regained his orientation, he was in a familiar world.
He was shocked. "Hell nah man…, not again!"
With a look of exasperation on his face, he looked up only to see the menacing face of the angry Honey Badger glaring at him.
Legolas placed his hands on his hips. "We don't want to do this man".
"We'll regret it".
"SURRENDER, FILTHY HUMAN!"
"…"
Legolas sighed. "Whatever you say man".
He instantly materialized a nuke warhead the next moment. "Don't say I didn't warn you, we'll both hate this at the end".
He launched the nuke.
BOOM…!!!
The battle of the mind started.
Compared to the Demon Asura, Azrael, Conan was no scientist, he was a berserker. Instead of thinking of the most ingenious and effective ways to kill his opponent, this mad Berserker instead thought up the rawest killing weapons.
One moment, his teeth became as huge and tall as a literal planet, stabbing and ripping Legolas to shreds, not even his blood was spared.
Another moment, the huge body of this Honey Badger grew chainsaws as he sawed Legolas to death in the most ruthless and bloodiest of ways.
Legolas didn't die as frequently as when he fought against Azrael but every single death to Conan was ruthless and traumatizing.
"You brainless beast!" He was incensed after dying again. "I'll show you never to mess with me again, I wanted to take it easy but you clearly don't want".
Originally, Legolas was imaginative but his imaginations were still morally positive, not this time though. Legolas went berserk with his imagination.
Injecting poisons that could mess with Conan's nerves, brain, and body, he gave this beast the cruelest of death through poison.
Other times, he created abominable chemical products which he envisioned from movies that he watched in his previous life. He turned Conan to a brainless zombie numerous times as this beast suffered the fate of being a living dead.
Before Legolas could exhaust his options, Conan gave up.
With a rotting body that refused to die, with maggots crawling in and out of his body, this Honey Badger gave up. "I give up!"
"Please kill me!"
"It's too much, please kill me!"
Legolas finally calmed down as he took deep breaths. "I thought you won't say it". He smirked, still slightly peeved. "As you wish".
Bzzz!
His consciousness returned to his body instantly.

'Phew!' Legolas sighed in relief and excitement.
His excitement was not because of getting a Grade C+ tamed beast, it was more because of Conan's crazy supreme talents. 'In terms of talents, I've not yet seen any Grade C beast or warrior that eclipses him'.
'I wonder if like I did with Christensen, I can get his supreme talents'.
He was hyped at the thought and the challenge.
This was when his game interface lit up again with a notification.

'Damn!' This was Legolas' reaction to this new notification.
Then, he challenged Conan only due to his desperation to get stronger in preparation for the inevitable showdown against the Bug Emperor.
In the end, it helped him as he got a Supreme Talent but he never expected the mission he triggered then to benefit him so much now.
"For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, either good or bad". He chuckled. "This time, the reaction was good and beneficial".
With Conan tamed, the war in Planet Austere was officially over.
What remained was skirmishes to clear out the beasts.
Standing on top a mountain with his allies, Legolas looked at the whole planet, at the warriors still pursuing and slaughtering the beasts enthusiastically.
"The view is nice and scary at the same time from up here". He chuckled.
The Skyrim King turned to look at Legolas seriously. "Thank you, without you, we would have never survived the Apocalypse".
Legolas returned the gaze with a smile. "I always pay back my debts".
"Besides, I also always help my friends". He patted his shoulder.
"What should we do?" Christensen asked. "We already killed the strongest beasts but they have numerous subordinates, should we wipe them out?"
"No". Legolas turned to look at him. "Our work is done".
"Let our subordinates finish the work".
"They have suffered for long, it's wisdom to let them vent now when they can". Endrick looked across the planet-wide battlefield.
'Actually, they died once, so let them vent'.
His decision was partly to let the warriors vent, but it was also affected by the players. 'I need to make them get as much experience as possible to prepare and fatten them up for the upcoming international player tournament'.
'Then, I will milk them properly'. A grin crept up his face. 'Afterall, they're my ultimate milk field for experience points'.
Like he suggested, the Skyrim King and the others stepped down, allowing their players to clear the remaining beasts out which lasted more than a week.
By the time that the war finally started dying down, tens of millions of beasts were already dead, their blood gave the planet's surface a shade of red as even the sun seemed to mourn them by letting out crimson light.
The remaining beasts were all forced to the edge of the planet, the deep forests and the seas where they truly belonged.
After centuries of suffering, Planet Austere was finally liberated from the tentacles of the Apocalypse that had dug deep into its society.
Planet Austere's storyline was officially over.
