The headquarters of the Nightmare Army…
Shadow Master Heimdall stood watching in the Army Commander's office as Legolas added his finishing touches, arranging the weapons and gadgets that he would need for the trip to Planet Austere.
Since Legolas was not sure how long this trip would take, he decided to plan for long. Afterall, an important task to fulfill his goal was the ability to stay independent in the dangerous planet.
He stuffed everything in his storage ring.
"Mithril Sword…, check".
"Mithril Bow…, check".
"Enchanted Daggers…, check".
"Positron Rifle…, check".
After he was done with his preparations, Legolas turned to face Heimdall. "What weapons are you carrying for the trip?"
"Just my Elementalist Staff". Heimdall smiled.
"You'll need a sword, preferably a shadow sword".
Heimdall chuckled. "I've never really felt the need to use a sword, my shadow Elementalist abilities can take care of everything that I've faced".
"Not in the planet that we are going to". Legolas looked at him.
"Unlike Planet Darvis where the apocalypse beasts are kind of at a handicap already, the apocalypse beasts in Planet Austere are still firmly the winning side".
"Every year, they push closer to devouring the whole planet".
"In Planet Darvis, you hardly hear of beast invasions".
"In Planet Austere, it's a common occurrence".
"And about their beasts, they are far more numerous and different than anything you've seen in Planet Darvis".
"Just as a point of reference, I got Warp Prime there, that Planet is a menace and only the menacing can survive there".
"With a shadow sword, not only will it augment your survival abilities when ambushed at point-blank range, it also gives you an attack alternative".
"It is the best course of action if you intend to return with your head intact".
Heimdall silently looked at Legolas for a few seconds.
"Understood, thank you Army Commander".
"I think it's time I hit the market".
As soon as Heimdall left, Legolas continued his preparations. Apart from his weapons, he also prepared a lot of potions and pills for this trip.
There was no notion of too much in his quest.
Before now, he already spoke with his 2 students. In his absence, Christensen was to be the Army Commander of the Nightmare Army while Blade gave his unrestricted support to keep the army operational.
Also, for this trip, though he was not sure how long he would spend to achieve his goals, he put an estimate of 3 weeks.
If Onana's estimate of the invasion being in 6 months was correct, he still had 3 weeks of preparation time to try breaking his limits.
He continued his preparations to leave.
It was during his preparations that a tall boy entered his office, the boy's red skin already betrayed his identity as Legolas smiled and turned to face him.
"Dad". Uranus went closer into his father's embrace.
Legolas held the boy tight as he basked in the moment. "How are you?"
"I heard you're leaving our planet".
"Yeah, it's just a little trip to seek more power". Legolas chuckled.
"What if you don't return?"
"…"
Legolas coughed. "Stop saying such ominous words".
"I eavesdropped from my room; I heard your warnings to Master Heimdall".
Legolas glared at the little Titan boy. "That ability of yours, I've told you to not use it on my office again".
"I'm sorry". He pouted.
Legolas used this opportunity to check Uranus' status.

Legolas rubbed the boy's head. 'It's been 6 years huh?'
Compared to the first time when he checked Uranus' status, the boy had grown a lot. As the last born of his family that included his students and his beasts, of course, Uranus was pampered by everyone.

'A golden boy indeed'. Legolas was impressed.
He could still remember that day, years ago when he picked the boy out of the ruin of the Ancient Titan Empire. Then, all Uranus could do was babble all day, now, he had grown up to become this powerful Grade D Pugilist.
Of course, Uranus was yet to unlock his true potential that his biological father, the Titan Emperor and his subjects prepared for him but he was still strong.
With his Pugilist abilities, he was already strong.
'I wonder when he'll finally leave the development phase and become mature. Is it when he's 15? Or 16? Well, I'll never know'.
"Dad". Uranus suddenly called; Legolas looked at him.
"When will you take me to see my ancestral home?"
Legolas smiled. "When you're ready".
"But I'm ready". Uranus insisted.
Legolas kept his smile. "When you're ready, I'll know". He patted his head. "Master Heimdall is back, it's time to go".
"Keep Planet Darvis safe while I'm gone".
Uranus twisted his lips again but he soon accepted the reality, he looked at his dad. "Don't worry, I'll keep the planet safe while you're gone".
"That's my boy". Legolas rubbed his head again.
About a minute later, after Heimdall returned to the office, Uranus finally left as both of them sat cross-legged in meditation.
A few seconds later, Legolas pressed the gray apple tattoo on his wrist.
On arriving at the gray world, they noticed the gray ball that pulsed.
"That is our way". Legolas indicated and walked closer, Heimdall followed him, then without hesitation they both jumped in.

They disappeared.

Planet Austere…
In the wild of this dangerous planet stood a certain underground rogue hunter base that was led by an already notorious rogue hunter.
At this moment, Edgar stood at the surface directly above his hideout. There were 6 Grade D warriors behind him, they followed their leader's orders and waited though they had no idea what they were waiting for.
After a few minutes of waiting, something emerged.

It was a gray opening through which 2 warriors came out.
They were alarmed but seeing their leader remain calm, they also stayed calm as they observed the 2 obviously powerful warriors who were oddly dressed.
"Welcome to Planet Austere". Edgar smiled.
While Legolas smiled and shook his hand, Heimdall remained rooted on the spot as he observed. He took a deep breath of the air here and savored how it felt, he bent down and picked the soil to feel it's texture.
The forest breeze, the waving trees, everything felt novel to him.
Looking to the skies, he finally saw the permanent crack leading into Planet Austere that Legolas already told him about. According to the Army Commander, it was through this crack that beasts invaded Planet Austere.
Heimdall was left completely fascinated, he also felt a sense of serenity well in him, he sighed as he felt like he just experienced a minor mental breakthrough.
"So, this is what it feels to be in another planet?"
"This is no longer Planet Darvis". He grinned. "This is Planet Austere".
