Legolas didn't look at the President, he just smiled. "I'm not gonna lie, after taming all these powerful beasts in recent times, I feel on top of the world".
"It's funny but I feel invincible".
"The only fact keeping me grounded in reality is Champion Onana's presence, seeing him reminds me that I still have a long road ahead".
President Shanks nodded without saying a word, they watched the Mechanics engross themselves in their work, fully focused.
Just a few days ago, with the help of the Landmark Construction Company and Champion Onana, they succeeded in building the very first planetary defense command base in Planet Darvis.
While working on Berserker Version 2, Champion Onana and his 2 assistants also put effort into the other objectives that they set for themselves.
During this time, using the incredible Mechanic knowledge that they already learned ahead of time, they were able to create lots of turrets and other planetary defense weapons across the planet.
He didn't activate them because he was still not done yet.
The main reason why they didn't stop at that was that Champion Onana had a vastly greater vision for the new planetary defense system of Planet Darvis.
He intended to create a highly practical but complicated planetary defense setup that would grant them much more protection against the coming cataclysm.
And this new base was created to be the headquarters of the defense network where orders would be broken down and transmitted.
This defense system was not in isolation just to Planet Darvis. After dragging the Giant Nak Fortress here about a month ago, Champion Onana started his ambitious plan of connecting everything together through a virtual server.
John was in charge of creating the virtual server.
Inside this base, John's fingers controlled different virtual projections as he focused on the screen.
"I'm ready". He said after cracking his fingers.
"Take a deep breath then start".
John obeyed the Nak Champion.

John's fingers rapidly tapped away at the virtual keyboard.
After abandoning his home to run here, John no longer had an escape plan to run back to, the outcome of the Cataclysm now affected him. This was why he started feeling the threat of the Cataclysm more than ever before.
The pressure from that suffocating feeling of impending death pushed him to give his all, now his skills were far higher than his previous peak.
His Virtual Mechanic skills were now far better than before.
While he did the virtual aspects, Champion Onana and Ella made sure that the physical and mechanical aspects of this set-up remained intact.
The Support A.I of this new base materialized.

The huge engine in the middle of this base housing the Battleship-grade power reactor from Legolas finally came to life with a powerful sound.

John finally opened his eyes as they shone with clarity and joy. Sweat filled his body, it was like he just ran a marathon but he did not feel the tiredness.
John turned to look at Champion Onana like a kid looking up to his father for praise after achieving a praise-worthy achievement.
He grinned. "The Warlord Server reporting for service".
Champion Onana also grinned. "Well-done".
The next moment, when Army Commander Legolas and President Shanks watched from the see-through glass, Champion Onana went closer to the gigantic server machine before finally powering it up.
It's booting sound was muffled but powerful.
The gigantic screen of the machine finally lit up with light.

"Success!" Champion Onana threw a fist up in celebration.
His celebration didn't fit his personality but he didn't care. For a long time, despite learning the Cutting-Edge class knowledge already, Onana had never been able to put it to use in a practical way.
During the preparations, he vowed to make use of it to increase their survival chances and after help and some insights learned from Ella's work, he finally succeeded in breaking his limits and utilizing the power of Quantum Mechanics.
He grinned. 'Deciding to surrender then was definitely the right decision'.
'That feeling of satisfaction when you improve, there's no feeling like it'.
'I'm obsessed with it!'
'I wonder if I can utilize it in Berserker in the future. If I do, will I finally be able to beat Delzebub then?'
The grin on his face almost seemed spooky due to his cyborg face and his red and blue eyes, the only reason why the others didn't freak out was because they were used to it after working with him for such a long time.
"Champion, what are your orders?" General Aztog's voice reverberated.
"Commence the test now!" He answered.
The next moment, in space, the Roman Rider and the only Battle Cruiser of the Nak fleet targeted the floating asteroids in this region of space as using special technologies, they directed them to float towards Planet Darvis.
Once they were caught by Planet Darvis's gravity, they were attracted.
Whoosh!
Inside the planet, looking up, you would notice gigantic red-hot objects dropping down from the skies with outstanding force after being affected by the gravity of the planet as they seemed set to unleash a lot of destruction.
As the citizens of the Planet panicked, this was when Champion Onana gave the orders as a smirk crept across the corner of his mouth.
"Activate weapon systems". He commanded.
[Order Acknowledged!]
[Planetary Defense Weapon Systems activated!]
"Target all asteroids!" He commanded.
[Order Acknowledged!]
[Asteroids targeted!]
[Target locked!]
"Eliminate!"
The reply to his order was instant.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Vibrations spread across the surface of Planet Darvis as a whole as over 200,000 war turrets locked on the asteroids and unleashed their shots.
The shots swept across and created a huge hole in space.
None of the asteroids survived the bombardment.
In seconds, ashes started falling from the skies like rain.
All the citizens in Planet Darvis were stunned. One moment, gigantic metal objects were falling from the skies and now the next moment, they turned to ash.
'What…, is going on?'
No one answered them.
Inside the hidden base, Champion Onana grinned then he ordered. "Again".
General Aztog repeated the sequence as even more gigantic asteroids were pushed into the gravity pull of the planet.
This time, Champion Onana's face finally turned serious.
"Trigger Ultimate Defense!"

During this moment, every individual in Planet Darvis felt his mass turn lighter as the gravity of Planet Darvis was harnessed and borrowed.

While all the spectators watched, the gigantic asteroids that were dragged by the Battleships accelerated towards Planet Darvis. But just before these asteroids could enter Planet Darvis' atmosphere, they met a resistance.
This resistance formed from the incredible and delicate fusion of magnetic and gravitic energies took effect, the gigantic asteroids were ground to dust.
None of them could reduce the crushing force.
It was as effortless as a human squashing an ant.
Seeing the results, Champion Onana spread both his hands, threw his head back before roaring with laughter. "Muahahaha…!"
"I did it!"
"This is my Ultimate Defense!"
