What was a Masterwork Mech? It was a mechanic suit that already exceeded the normal levels of perfection that was possible for a highly skilled Mechanic.
The chances of creating a Masterwork Mech were affected by a lot of parameters.
The state of mind of the Mechanic creating the mech suit, his craftmanship skills, his focus and drive during the crafting process, everything affected the end result.
All these parameters led to an end result that exceeded perfection.
The mysteries behind it was still unknown to a lot of Mechanics but it was common knowledge in the galactic community that every Masterwork Mech became a masterpiece that was far stronger than it's theorized combat level.
Exceeding perfection grants the Mech a qualitative boost.
Legolas could still remember from his previous life, after being exposed to it, a lot of Mechanic class players strived giving their all to create a Masterwork.
All of them failed except one, the team Captain of the strongest American pro game club, the Legendary Deft Fingers.
Even this legendary player never succeeded in crafting a Masterwork mech, instead what he succeeded in was crafting a Masterwork Sniper Rifle.
This powerful Masterwork Sniper Rifle enabled the Legendary Deft Finger's rise to the peak, singlehandedly dragging his team to the top to win the International Dominator tournament in Version 3.
Also, his Sniper Rifle enabled him to become a 2 time International Champion in the individual brackets, writing his name in history as a legend.
Legolas watched everything that happened from his office in the headquarters of the Nightmare Army through a virtual screen.
He could not believe that they did it, he looked at the Mech that was still transforming before his eyes with shock.

John felt a lot of complicated theories relating to virtual technology become easier for him to comprehend, it was like he suddenly became more intelligent.
As for Captain Chan, this Mage's arcane power became more concentrated.
If they had game interfaces at this moment, they would have received constant notifications of their experience points increasing at a rapid rate.
This process continued till the transformation of the mech suit was complete.

50% didn't seem like much but considering how powerful the base form of this mechanic suit was, and how perfect it was already, an increase of 5% alone was already incredible. An increase of 50% was ridiculous.
"We did it!" Champion Onana roared in ecstasy.

Onana did not hold back, he dragged Captain Chan, John, and Ella into his tight embrace, this was his way of showing gratitude for their efforts.
A few minutes later, after getting over the ecstasy of their achievement, Champion Onana and Ella finally started tests on the base form of the mech suit.
They were able to confirm the increase to the base stats of the mech suit.
Ella turned to look at him. "To thoroughly understand how much changed, we need a live practice session, virtual testing can only change so much".
On hearing that, Champion Onana's eyes gleamed. "I am ready".
He turned to face the glass wall where the President watched from. "Please, make it possible in the morning, I need to sleep to recover to my optimum state".
President Shanks nodded before calling and giving orders.

Under President Shanks' authority, the 2 strongest war vessels of the alliance were summoned, both the Golden Cicada and the Legolas Baron hovered in the air.
They were to be the sparring partner of the new war mech suit.
After enough preparation, Champion Onana finally entered the cockpit of the mech. Without hesitation, he booted his new mech.

Seeing these familiar words, Champion Onana grinned. "It's nice to see you again too bro, I've missed you".
Ella's voice reverberated the next moment. "All systems cleared for use, you can pilot it now".
Champion Onana finally sent the first neural order to his new mech.

Berserker's energy systems erupted to life, inducing a loud sound as the power reactor of this mech suit finally became active.
An opening was already made above this secret mechanic workshop.
Before he left, Captain Chan said some words. "Champion, endeavor to use it's magic abilities this time, I gave my all into enchanting them".
"I will".
Champion Onana's grin widened. "Berserker, let's go for a ride".

The powerful mechanic suit's flight systems blasted out with power as it rapidly accelerated out of the mechanic workshop at a rapid speed.
Outside, the 2 Heavy Cruisers waited for him.
His eyes gleamed as he felt the challenge. "Compared to before, let's so how much our power have grown".
The next moment, the huge mech pulled out the familiar Transformable Rifle.
"Rifle Transformation Ability: Positron Rifle!"
"Special Berserker Ability: Overload!"
"Special Mechanic Ability: Prime Resonance!"
The mech aimed with the Positron Rifle before pulling the trigger, it's first target was the bigger of both Heavy Cruisers, the Golden Cicada.

The blast of positron elements moved through the air with venom.
Having anticipated the strike, all 3 of the Golden Cicada's stacked shields were erected but this time, the Heavy Cruiser experienced something different.
The blast completely obliterated the first 2 defense shields before pushing the defense of the last shield generator to it's very limits.
Warning alarms blared inside the state-of-the-art Heavy Cruiser, it responded instantly. Under General Aztog's orders, all the weapons of the Golden Cicada locked on their target as the next moment, they unleashed disaster.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
"Special Berserker Ability: Powell Endurance!"
Champion Onana did not dodge, he took the attack head-on even as he retaliated. Since this spar was meant to push his new mech suit to the limits to know it's true parameters, he had no qualms with pushing it's systems this far.
He let Ella's specialty on the mech work to see how effective it was.
The Powell Endurance ability proved to be crazily effective, despite the bombardment from all the weapons of a Heavy Cruiser, it was not destroyed immediately, buying more than enough time for Onana to retaliate.
"Special Berserker Ability: Arcanite- Natural Resonance!"
"Magic Ability: Absolute Domain!"
"Magic Ability: Absolute Domain- Wear and Tear!"
"Magic Ability: Dimensional Blast!"

Arcane powered churned powerfully in the air.
After his little warm-up, Champion Onana no longer held back.
His eyes became filled with bloodlust. "Let's rumble!"
Even as his resonance with his mech suit increased, he was unable to pay attention to it because of the Absolute Domain. An azure manifestation of arcane power surrounded the mech, forming a formidable energy shield.
In this domain, Champion Onana felt like he was invincible.
That was not all, instantly after the Absolute Domain appeared, what seemed like a black hole appeared in the air as a crack to a random hostile dimension opened.
It was a strange dimension filled with rampaging aggressive green energy.
The next moment the arcane power erupting from the mech suit dove into this dimension, harnessing the green energy and turning it into a massive energy blast that was shot towards the Legolas Baron who already joined the attack.
BOOM!
The attack was felt as the gigantic Heavy Cruiser jerked in the air.
Champion Onana was not allowed to attack with impunity though, both Heavy Cruisers constantly roared with power, unleashing lethal shots as they wasted their powerful weapon armaments on the mechanic suit.
The mech suit's stacked defenses from the Absolute Domain provided it with an inviolable defense, Champion Onana was free to play with his attack power.
One moment, the sound like a metal ricocheting off another metal reverberated as Champion Onana changed the magazine of his cutting-edge Shotgun.
"Taste the power of Arcanite projectiles!"
He pulled the trigger.
BOOM!
Each shot tore through the defense of both Heavy Cruisers.
When he switched to the Guass Cannon, the damage was even more as the heavy physical impacts left depressions in the metal hulls of both Heavy Cruisers.
It was when he changed to the OG-18 Flamethrower that he finally started closing the distance, the extreme fire from this flamethrower devoured oxygen rampantly, creating a vacuum-like environment around the mech suit.
On closing the distance though, Champion Onana's combat style changed.
Closing in on the Legolas Baron, he pulled out the Plasma Sword of his mech suit before unleashing a powerful vertical slash as the Heavy Cruiser responded.
Despite the layers of defense before it, the Plasma Sword's red-hot edge cut through them like a hot knife through butter as it breached the hull of the Battleship. Yet, that was not all.
From the knees of the mech suit, plasma knives emerged.
He launched a knee attack the next moment as the plasma knife cut through an entirely different region, dealing even more attack to the Heavy Cruiser.
While the Legolas Baron was harassed, the Golden Cicada attacked from a safe blind spot but at this moment, Champion Onana had no blind spots.
A sharp turn and rapid acceleration were all it took to catch the Golden Cicada off-guard. Before the powerful Heavy Cruiser could move it's gigantic body and react, Onana already pulled out his new Cutting-Edge Arcanite War Axe.
"Weapon Ability: Cosmic Beast Slayer!"
BOOM…!!!
The sound of collision was like exploding dominoes as it completely obliterated all defenses of the Heavy Cruiser before leaving numerous damaged portions in it.
For the next 30 minutes, while suffering occasional damages here and there, Champion Onana made use of all his weapons as he thrashed both Heavy Cruisers. By the time that the spar was over, both were terribly damaged.
Champion Onana grinned. "This is the power I've always been craving".
He clenched his fists. 'Can I beat Delzebub now?'
He didn't know the answer to this question, but for now, something else was the priority. Without going to rest, Champion Onana led the way for both Heavy Cruisers as he rapidly accelerated towards the skies.
In no time, he escaped Planet Darvis's gravity.
In space with asteroids floating everywhere, Champion Onana finally tried the last and strongest ability of his new mechanic suit.
"Special Berserker Ability: Liberation- Berserk!"
As magnetic energy exploded, all his weapons floated to his sides and on his control, all these lethal weapons were put into action.
There was no sound in space but the impacts were explosively powerful.
In 2 minutes, Champion Onana left a deep void in space.
The test was finally complete.
