"Sure-Assassination Combination Ability: Geralt and Heimdall!"
"1st Move: Knife and Knife!"
The thick veil of shadows that converged and covered this ability was what first attracted Core Protector Shanks' attention. Hearing the words gave him goosebumps, seeing the twin knife silhouettes appear, he felt pumped!
"That old geezer is still alive!" He felt shocked, relieved, and excited all at the same time as this killer move was impeccably executed.
He detected no signs of age from the old geezer nor any signs of rustiness from his student despite it being over a century since they last used it.
Back in the days when figures like Jon Stones roamed the planet, causing terror everywhere they entered, with Newton becoming notorious for his deadly chemicals, the figure that actually attracted the most dread was one man, Heimdall.
Having mastered the dark arts of the Shadow Element, Heimdall was the deadliest assassin alive. Everywhere he moved, death followed.
Today, this assassin was finally brought to life again alongside his student.
As soon as the words were said, amid the thick veil of shadow, 2 hands appeared each holding a knife. As Heimdall and Geralt attacked from the shadows, an extremely concentrated streak of knife energy also followed.
In the process of killing another Grade C Superhuman, the Draconic Crocodile barely had time to react to the attack before they hit it's thick scales.
BOOM!
The sound was like clapping thunders and exploding dominoes!
The Crocodile made a strange groaning sound as soon as the attack hit.
Both knife energies hit a single point in the Crocodile's scales, concentrating their lethality to such a ridiculous extent that the Crocodile reacted in pain.
"Grauwgg…!!!" The Crocodile's thick scales were cut open but that was all.
Blood flowed but the Crocodile could heal it in no time, Geralt and Heimdall were shocked at the lack of effectiveness of their attack unlike they were used to but they were far from done.
Even if this fellow already exceeded the Grade C realm, they were no pushovers, their pitch-black eyes gleamed even fiercer.
The pain caused the Crocodile to let go of the Superhuman, enabling this Pugilist to barely escape with his life despite losing a lot of blood and flesh.
From the time of attack till now, it was not even a second yet.
This was when the 2nd attack run came.
"2nd Move: Knife and Dagger!"
Once again, the speed of attack was too fast for the Crocodile to catch up with, he could not react as the attack descended on it's scales with venom.
This time, the shadow energies of the knife and dagger were even thinner and more concentrated. They hit the same spot that they already injured without missing, internally, the Crocodile rolled in pain and agony.
Bam!
Unlike the first time, the impact of the attack was even more subdued but the damage that was inflicted was crazy as the Crocodile bled a river.
Geralt and Heimdall were still not done.
"3rd Move: Dagger and Dagger!"
"4th Move: Ultimate Blood Sacrifice!"
Assassins were filthy, they were deadly, they almost never played by the rules, they could do anything just to end the lives of their opponents.
Neither Heimdall nor his student were saints, they engaged in dark arts.
The 4th move of their ultimate combination ability was no mere assassination ability again, it was a blood ritual ability. By spilling their own blood, they were able to amplify the effects of their assassination by more than 10 times!
Bzzz!
The incredible power convergence literally squeezed the airspace.
The Draconic Crocodile felt fear for its life since it was reborn by Clown.
Till the 3rd attack by this assassin duo, it was still less than a second and the Crocodile had no time to dodge. It was the same place, the twin dagger shadow energies ravaged through the opened wound of this Draconic Crocodile.
The impact was not explosive, merely a slicing sound.
Shwa!
The sound reverberated through the air coldly like when a sharp knife cut a vegetable apart with speed, this was how sharp it was.
"ROAR…!!!" The Crocodile roared in pain.
Despite its Draconic bloodline defense, despite it's Giant Runes, when faced against an attack that was strong enough, it's scales still gave way.
To the disbelieving eyes of every Superhuman present watching this battle, the twin dagger shadow energies cut this powerful Crocodile in twain!
"They did it!"
"They f*cking did it!" This was the reaction of the Superhumans.
Shocked by the incredible assassination ambush and its effectiveness, the spooked Dragon Fly with Dragon Wings and the Undying Cockroach finally reacted as they tried to attack the 2 Shadow Elementalists but they were not alone.
Against a common enemy, the Grade C Superhumans who rarely ever did anything together were now united to a horrifying degree to fight their enemy.
Led by Core Protector Shanks, they protected the 2 Shadow Assassins.
Geralt and Heimdall came out of their crazy ambush unscathed.
"Nice one old man!"
Heimdall simply chuckled proudly in a disconcerting manner fitting an old geezer assassin as Core Protector Shanks protected his retreat.
Now, they defended while simply watching to see what would happen to the Crocodile. The best news was for this beast to die immediately.
Inside his mech suit, Clown was also shocked by the incredible display.
"Hahahahahahaha….!" Clown's laughter chilled bones.
"Good…, hahaha…, what a display, I love it!"
"This is the order of chaos!"
"This is the reason why I work so hard!"
"Witnessing genius displays like this, without the chaos caused by me, we would have never witnessed such a ridiculous display of power!"
"Hehehehe…, chaos is god!"
Clown's crazy words and laughter were not what disconcerted the Superhumans the most, it was the process that now went on in the Crocodile's body. Originally, the divided body parts free-fell but they now stopped falling.
Like they were affected by a strange energy field, both body parts paused in the air and the next moment, they accelerated towards each other.
On colliding, a mighty power exploded.
A combination of psionic, super, and pure core energy exploded.
BOOM!
After the explosion, the 2 separated flesh seamlessly reattached themselves. The Draconic Crocodile's aura felt weaker but that was not what mattered, what mattered was that the Crocodile actually revived!
Feeling and seeing their shock, Clown cackled maniacally.
"Hahahaha…!"
"Hehehe…!"
"Hohoho…!"
"Witness the power of God!"
"I am God!"
"Bow, acknowledge me, worship me and I may consider allowing all of you to live and witness the golden age of the order of chaos".
"BOW BEFORE YOUR GOD!"
Core Protector Shanks was horrified. "W-What power is this?!"
