Legolas grabbed the sword and admired its sharp edge.
Compared to most swords, the Giantsbane was not at the forefront in terms of sharpness but what it lacked in sharpness, it gained in strength.
The sword was heavy and strong, an attack with it could definitely shake any opponent. Despite how heavy it was though, as a Grade D superhuman, Legolas was still able to wield the sword without too much effort.
"Master, it's a nice sword".
Legolas turned to look at his student. "Yes, it's a nice sword".
With this sword, he finally gained a reliable weapon that he could use to battle in the way that he wanted. As for the G-96 pistols, since he could not use them with the sword at the same time, he had other plans for them.
"Christensen, you've learned a lot since you became my student".
"In most cases, the master usually gets a graduation gift for his student".

Legolas rubbed his nose. "No need to be so serious about it, can't you see how Aegon is looking at you awkwardly?"
Christensen coughed. "Sorry…"
Captain Aegon chuckled. "They are good pistols, they saved us a lot in the battle against the Titans".
"Yes, they did". Legolas finally turned around to leave the armory.
The armory of the Kong tribe was massive. The desert tribes compared to the shelters may be primitive and backward in a lot of things, but despite the lack of mechanic skills in this planet, they were great craftsmen.
Their armory was full of well-crafted hunting weapons.
As they left the armory, Legolas patted Aegon. "I like the sword, thank you and help me thank the tribe chief again".
"I will". Aegon smiled.
On leaving the armory, Legolas and his student went to the part of the tribe settlement that was allocated to them to stay in.
According to tribe chief Kohama, they were to rest for the night before being sent on the mission to go save the suffering tribes the next day.
Before going out to fight the Titans, it was paramount for them to remain in their peak state. On entering their room, Legolas went closer to Leo who laid on the ground as he rubbed the Frost Wolf's white fur.
Leo purred as soon as he noticed Legolas's presence.
"Master, are we really going to help them?"
"Yes, we can't let innocent people die without helping". He turned to look at his student. "Always remember that the Clown Society is the enemy".
"But before that, I have something else that I need your help with".
Christensen raised his eyebrows, his master rarely asked for a favor.
"You saw the outcome of our battle against the Titans, if we were not fast enough, Brutus, Leo, and perhaps Akela would have perished against the Titans".
"The Foxes in Lucky's team were the ones who saved the day".
"That is the power of a beast pack and why I took the Shepherd route".
"There is no single invincible beast, every beast excels at a particular area, that is why I need to hunt to fill some gaps in my beast formation".
"Huh?" Christensen scratched his head as he could no longer comprehend what his master was saying.
Legolas sighed. "Didn't you see the outcome of the wolves?"
"…"
Christensen finally dropped his shoulders. "I'm sorry…"
Though it was already more than a day since they fought the Titans, he could not forget the scene as the wolves in Akela's pack were slaughtered like pigs.
"No need to be sorry, that outcome exposed the flaws in Akela's wolf pack". Legolas sighed again. "Lucky made things a lot easier for me, but against the enemies that we are up against, we need more".
"If I don't want Akela to die, I need to help him grow his pack".
"I need to help him build a foundation for growth, I need to help him find powerful wolves that will help him build the pack".
"Do you have a plan?"
"Yes, I've been thinking since the battle and I think I have a plan". Legolas's eyes gleamed. "Akela is a Wind Wolf, he already has a Dark Wolf that is close to the Grade D realm, what he needs is 2 more competent assistants".
"I want to help him hunt 2 powerful Grade D Wolves".
"Which target do you have in mind?"
"A Direwolf and a Spilodon".
"…" Christensen looked at his master weirdly.
"Hey, don't give me that are you a fool look".
Christensen laughed. "But Spilodons are not wolves".
"Oh, you even know what a Spilodon is". Legolas was visibly surprised.
Christensen blushed and pouted. "I once read it in my father's library when I was a prince".
"Well, you're right, they're not wolves, they are big cats but…"
Christensen held his breath, waiting for his master to continue.
"Let's say that their creator was a lover of wolf packs and while people always wanted a Spilodon vs Direwolf battle, he wanted a Spilodon and Direwolf partnership so he tweaked the rules a bit and gave the Spilodon something".
"Guess what, he gave the Spilodon wolf bloodline".
