"The last reason is for you to take up the position of Vice CEO of Jiang Corporations."

"That is true. I do not think I will be loyal if I did not stuck by your side, elder master. You were there with me too. I should do same and more," Charlie stated.
"You just said so yourself. You should do more... And that wish and decision is what I am helping you to fufill," he quickly pointed out.
Charlie pursed his lips as he let his gaze fall on the teacup in front of him. He was in deep thoughts.
"Listen my child... You have more than just my trust. You have my love as a grandfather and father figure to you. You have my support and care and most importantly I have given you all my name." He referred to all his men under him.
"You are all my family whether anyone likes it or not. That us why we, I and my granddaughter as well as her assistant, have placed this take in your hands, my boy."
"But I can't do it. I'm not as capable as you all deem me to be. I have my own flaws too," Charlie says in a much lower voice.
Old man Jiang sighed. He leaned closer to the table and place a hand above Charlie's. The latter instantly raised his lowered head to meet his eyes.
"Everyone has flaws, boy. No one is perfect except the supreme being. But despite your flaws, you are still the best candidate."
Charlie's eyes turned moist at such great words and trust his elder master has for him. He felt touched and exceedingly honoured.
Pulling his hand away, he took the teacup and leaned his back on the chair. "I do not expect an answer now, my child. Ponder upon it. Sleep over it in fact and be sure before you give me an answer."
He paused and took a sip. "Although I want this, but you also have a choice to choose whatever you want. I will no mind and neither will your boss."
Charlie lowered his head once again. He was self examining himself. He made himself a candidate to his own judge.
'Will I be able to do this? What if I flop and cause a drop in the company? What if I end up disappointing everyone, especially elder master? Will I be anotger good leader like him and my young miss Renxiang? I am I up for the task?'

"I accept your request," Charlie firmly said. "I, Charlie promise to do my very best for Jiang Corporations. I will put much effort and try to meet your expectations before surpassing them."
Old man Jiang nodded. He dropped his teacup and placed both hands on the armrest of the chair.
"Very well then."
He moved his right hand to the draw by the side and pulled it open. He took out a black folder and placed it out he table, right in front of Charlie.
Charlie's eyes trailed down to the object and back to the old man. It was as if he was asking what it contained and what he should use it for.
"Those are the original files for the letter of employment and the contract of the position as the new Vice CEO of the company," Old man Jiang answers his unsaid questions.
Charlie went through them and even signed on the spot. Then his got the last file in the folder. His eyes widened as he looked at old man Jiang.
