Chapter 417: The Gray Skeleton, Destiny Laws of Nature

Translator: Atlas Studios Editor: Atlas Studios

As a nearly boundless and endless place, the supreme Celestial Realm’s size far surpassed that of high-end existential planes like the ten major Divine Realms. Its territories were nearly 10,000 times that of high-end existential planes.

These vast territories were split among the four Juggernauts and 44 Chief Gods, with the Juggernauts occupying the smaller half of the Celestial Realm’s total territories.

The Destruction Dominus’ turf was located at the Destruction Mountains. The Destruction Mountains stretched for endless light-years and was a mountain belt formed from millions of mountain ranges. Sited in the east of the Celestial Realm, they were known as the Celestial Realm’s ancestral mountain ranges, meaning the origin of the supreme Celestial Realm’s mountains.

The Destruction Dominus didn’t return to his Destruction Shrine after he returned to the Destruction Mountains. Instead, he headed straight to the underground and started to weave his way about underground, diving downward the whole way.

After diving for some time, he actually arrived at a red expanse of space. Strong, surging destruction laws of nature filled the area around the space, completely destroying any living thing that dared to come close.

Floating in the center of the space was a purplish-red coffin. Odd and fascinating-looking laws of nature patterns were engraved on the coffin’s surface, and they gave off energy waves that made one’s heart pound in trepidation.

The Destruction Dominus gazed at the coffin and let out a faint sigh. “I didn’t expect myself to come to you so soon... Ah well! Never mind!”

Then, the Destruction Dominus gritted his teeth and erased the destruction laws of nature runes on the coffin’s surface.

The purplish-red glow on the coffin’s surface dimmed at once. The coffin lid rose into the air, and then a mysterious and incredibly ancient wave of energy began to emanate from within the coffin.

The Destruction Dominus took a deep breath as he took in the sensation of the incredibly frightening yet also unusually familiar mysterious wave of energy. A hint of anticipation flashed across his eyes.

“Kekeke~”

The sound of awfully sinister cackling rang out from within the coffin, followed by crisp-sounding clacks. At once, a grayish arm—no, not an arm. Rather, it was a grayish skeletal arm that reached out of the coffin.

Innumerable tiny and intricate mysterious patterns covered the grayish skeletal arm’s surface. These patterns were just like tiny little tadpoles, making it hard for one to see them clearly unless they took a close look.

Right on the heels of it, another skeletal arm reached out of the coffin, followed by a skull, a hollow ribcage, a skeletal upper torso...

At the end, a grayish skeleton crawled out of the coffin. A grayish will-o’-the-wisp shone brightly in its skull.

The gray skeleton gazed at the Destruction Dominus with its blank, empty eyes. Its dry, shriveled up skeletal mouth opened and closed as it cackled strangely.

“Dear Disaryl, I didn’t expect you to come to me so soon. This truly surprises me. I’d thought that I would have to wait till the end of the current era!”

“Hmph!”

The Destruction Dominus had an awful look on his face. He said grimly, “Stop being so sarcastic. I’ve met with a bit of trouble, and I need your help.”

“Trouble? Hehehe!”

The gray skeleton cackled a couple of times, its grayish will-o’-the-wisp also blinking twice, and it said, “If my observations are correct, you likely have already comprehended destruction laws of nature. On top of that, you’ve also assimilated a Heart of The Existential Plane and now possess Juggernaut-class strength. Yet you’ve met with trouble?”

“You may not believe this,” The Destruction Dominus went straight to the point, “But I’ve run into a freak. A freak who has fully comprehended the five supreme laws of nature and is comparable to a Semi-Supreme God. I hate to admit it, but I’m no match for him!”

“Mm?”

The will-o’-the-wisp in the gray skeleton’s skull started to flicker and dance agitatedly upon hearing what the Destruction Dominus said, indicating its similarly agitated emotions. It said, “He’s fully comprehended the five supreme laws of nature? Are you sure? You must understand that there wasn’t anyone that managed to fully comprehend the five supreme laws of nature even in our era back then!”

“I crossed swords with him just now,” said the Destruction Dominus grimly.

The puzzled gray skeleton asked, “What period are we currently in, Disaryl? How far has the current era developed?”

“We’ve just passed two-fifths of it and have yet to reach the midpoint,” replied the Destruction Dominus unhurriedly.

“...”

The gray skeleton couldn’t help but gasp. “Someone has already fully comprehended the five supreme laws of nature when we haven’t even reached the current era’s midpoint yet? What kind of joke is that?!”

“It’s true!”

The Destruction Dominus repeated.

“He must die!”

The gray skeleton’s voice turned low and deep as it said, “We failed during the era before the previous, as well as during the previous era. The current era is the only one we have left. This is our only chance. Anything that may possibly threaten us or stand in our way... Must die!”

The Destruction Dominus nodded forcefully and said, “That’s why I’ve come to you. I hope you can do something about it and thoroughly erase him!”

“No, I can’t make any move for now.”

The gray skeleton shook its head and rejected the Destruction Dominus’ request. It said, “We’ve yet to reach the halfway mark of the current era, so the world’s order has yet to collapse. It’s currently the point where the power of order is at its strongest. If I make a move, I’ll undoubtedly be erased!”

“What should I do, then?”

The Destruction Dominus frowned. “Am I supposed to just allow that kid to grow further? I have to remind you that that kid isn’t even 100 years old yet at this current point in time!”

“He isn’t even 100 years old yet?”

The gray skeleton was astonished yet again and couldn’t help but find the revelation incredible. It exclaimed, “Why has such a freakish existence come into existence during this era? This doesn’t make sense at all!”

“And yet he’s appeared!”

The Destruction Dominus sighed and said, “All lives can only survive for three reincarnation cycles at the most. We’ve already gone through two; this era is our only chance now. We cannot allow any mistakes! Hurry and think of a solution. We don’t have any time to waste!”

“We don’t have any other choice at this point!”

The gray skeleton let out a low roar. The grayish will-o’-the-wisp in its skull trembled lightly as if it might break free of the skull’s shackles any moment and leave the body.

“Aahhh!”

The gray skeleton let out a painful scream. Its grayish will-o’-the-wisp suddenly split into two, causing the gray skeleton to pant heavily and become incredibly weak in an instant. One half of the will-o’-the-wisp floated out of the skull and over to the Destruction Dominus.

“These are the destiny laws of nature that I comprehended.”

The gray skeleton said weakly, “It doesn’t contain any of my consciousness, thoughts, or will, and is just my comprehension of destiny laws of nature in its purest form. You can assimilate it with peace of mind without needing to worry about the power of order.”

“Got it!”

The Destruction Dominus could hardly conceal the white-hot fervency in his eyes. After all, these were destiny laws of nature! One must know that destiny laws of nature were a type of genesis laws of nature and something that was completely superior to supreme laws of nature!

“You and I originate from the same source, so you shouldn’t need to take too long to assimilate my comprehension of destiny laws of nature. As long as you can fully comprehend the destiny laws of nature that exist within, this will be sufficient for you to kill that freak of a guy!”

The gray skeleton instructed, “Remember, you must kill that kid while he has yet to comprehend genesis laws of nature. Otherwise, there’ll be endless trouble to come!”

“I understand!”

The Destruction Dominus nodded forcefully. Then, he assimilated the will-o’-the-wisp portion in front of him.

Boom!

A split second later, an endless torrent of information surged into his sea of consciousness like a breached dam, assailing the Destruction Dominus’ divine spirit.

“Aahhh!”

Even someone as strong as the Destruction Dominus couldn’t help but scream again and again from the terrifying information torrent’s assaults. A look of savagery came over his face as he endured the immense pain.

“Go on and assimilate it!”

The gray skeleton murmured to itself, “Once you’ve thoroughly assimilated my comprehension of destiny laws of nature, you shall have comprehended destiny laws of nature, and you’ll be able to make the leap to become a Supreme God. Even though you’ll only be a low-level Supreme God, the lowest grade of Supreme Gods, it’ll nonetheless be enough for you to wipe out any Juggernaut!”
