Chapter 365: Stopping Meng Lei, Violent Soul Reading

Before they arrived at the Boundless Plane, the seven Great Perfection deities understood from the deceased’s divine incarnations that the murderer was powerful, really powerful!

One hammer to thrash a high-level Great Demon God!

Massacring a million experts!

The Great Perfection deities thought that such a human was a reclusive ancient freak.

Otherwise, Meng Lei must be a Pseudo-Chief God, who had refined the Boundless Plane’s Heart of The Existential Plane.

No matter how they cracked their brains, they never thought that the million experts’ murderer was a human who was under 45 years old!

Not yet 45... Was he really human?

Gaianos said gravely, “Fairy Goddess, I want to know everything about him!”

“Yes, Lord Gaianos!”

The Fairy Goddess did not hide anything as she explained Meng Lei’s past thoroughly. “45 years ago, Meng Lei was only an ordinary villager from the Magical Beast Village of the Heaven’s Vault Continent’s Fire Dragon Kingdom...”

After the Fairy Goddess finished speaking, the seven Great Perfection deities went silent yet again. The Moon Goddess mumbled, “In less than ten years, how could a human become a super expert!? It’s just fantasy!”

“It’s not just a fantasy. Even a Juggernaut’s reincarnation could not do it!”

The Great Perfection deity Ebenezer’s eyes lit up. “There must be some huge secret behind this fellow. Otherwise, he would never have improved so quickly!”

Huge secret?

A jolt went through everyone. Their eyes lit up as they became hugely interested in Meng Lei’s secret.

After cultivating to their level, unless they encountered some incredible opportunity, cultivating further was almost impossible.

If they got their hands on that secret, they might have a chance to cultivate further!

“Where is that knave!”

Adolphus, the Great Perfection deity of the Colossal Dragon Gods, bellowed as it could not wait any longer.

The Fairy Goddess was conflicted. Even though it wouldn’t affect Meng Lei if she talked about his life, telling where Meng Lei was would put him in danger!

She simply couldn’t do it.

“Mm?”

Adolphus’ expression turned grim as he seemed displeased. The Lava Goddess noticed that and answered quickly, “That fellow is currently in the Monarch Mountain, and he seemed to be refining the Boundless Plane’s Heart of The Existential Plane!”

“Damn!”

“We can’t let him get his way!”

“Damn it! We must stop him!”

The six Great Perfection deities’ expressions changed dramatically.

Meng Lei was a powerful presence who broke through to high-level higher deity with ease. If he was allowed to refine the Boundless Plane’s Heart of The Existential Plane, he would become a Pseudo-Chief God.

Not just them, even if Chief Gods descended upon the plane, they could not do anything to Meng Lei. By then, let alone digging up Meng Lei’s secret, revenge would be impossible.

“Stop him!”

“We must stop him immediately!”

“Where’s the Monarch Mountain?” barked Gaianos.

“That direction!” The Lava Goddess pointed away.

“Here we go!”

Gaianos went along with the other five Great Perfection deities to speed to the Monarch Mountain immediately.

“You may return to the Divine Realm now,” the Moonlight Goddess said to the goddesses.

The Lava Goddess answered respectfully, “Yes, Lady Elune!”

The Fairy Goddess then asked, “Lady Elune, what will happen to Meng Lei?”

“Since you knew the outcome, why should you even ask further?”

The Moonlight Goddess left these words before she left without looking back.

“Diana, let’s go. He’ll die surely!” The Lava Goddess shook her head. “Killing a million deities and demons, offending almost every possible faction? He won’t have a good ending at all!”

“Sigh...”

The Fairy Goddess sighed quietly.

At the Monarch Mountain...

The Great Prophet, Olio, and the rest continued to guard the Monarch Shrine as they talked among themselves, leaving the Monarch Mountain rather peaceful.

“Great Prophet, is our Juggernaut still alive?”

“Lord Juggernaut died long ago. What’s left are his divine spirit fragments!”

“Great Prophet, do you know what kind of person our new master is? How did he inherit everything from the Juggernaut and become our master?”

“It was all the will of the Great Juggernaut. All we have to do is follow any of their orders!”

“Since we are talking about that, our new master is really powerful! He can slaughter a million extraterrestrial demons single-handedly, similar to the Boundless King’s style!”

“Ah yes! Our new master is too powerful—”

Just as the Boundless Giants were talking casually, a terrifying divine power came from across the horizon. Although the divine might was not as powerful due to the distance, the pressure it contained made everyone’s heart pound in trepidation.

The Boundless Giants raised their heads and saw a few figures shooting in their direction at unbelievable speed. In a blink of an eye, those figures skit passed a great distance as they appeared in the skies not far away.

“That’s...”

“Extraterrestrial demons!”

“Damn it! Those extraterrestrial demons are back!”

The Great Prophet’s countenance changed greatly.

Damn it! Why were they here again? These extraterrestrial demons linger around too much!

Olio cursed inwardly before he shouted his commands, “Guard the Monarch Shrine, don’t let them disturb Master!”

“Yes, sir!”

The Boundless Giant answered cohesively as they went on standby, staying alert to the figures closing in on them.

However, as those figures approached, the divine might became more and more powerful, which almost turned into a solid suppression over the Boundless Giants on the mountain. The overwhelming aura pressed everyone like a primordial divine mountain up in their hearts, as all the giants could no longer muster the courage to battle.

“Great Perfection deities! They’re all Great Perfection-level extraterrestrial demons!” The Great Prophet’s face became especially awful, his voice trembling.

“What? Great Perfection?” Olio exclaimed as his heart sank to the bottom.

Across the entire Boundless Plane, Great Perfection was a mythical concept which most Boundless Giants dreamed of achieving, but it was a domain they could never ever enter!

At that moment, however, there were already a few Great Perfection-level extraterrestrial demons that spelled disaster. Who could stop their attacks?

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Just as the Boundless Giants’ morale sank to the very bottom, shrill air-piercing sounds rang—the six Great Perfection deities arrived above the mountaintop.

They looked down from above, sweeping their glances at the Boundless Giants. They did not hide their divine power as they overwhelmed the giants’ minds incessantly.

“This is the Monarch Mountain?”

“It must be it!”

“Where’s that knave?”

“I’ll grab someone to ask!”

Gaianos grabbed in the air and caught a giant.

Extreme terror overwhelmed this giant while he struggled madly.

It was pointless.

Any struggles were in vain. Gaianos did not hesitate to crush this poor giant’s skull and took out his divine core.

“Bastard!”

After watching that scene, Olio and the rest widened their eyes to the point of splitting, and they shot themselves toward Gaianos. However, a glance was all it took for Gaianos to repel Olio and the rest. They flew off, coughing up blood.

The difference was really too big!

One glance, and they were heavily injured!

“Trash!”

Gaianos held the divine core and searched the soul violently. Shrill, horrific screams of that giant rang. The suffering from the violent soul-reading was too unbearable.

“Ugh!”

With blood at the corners of his lips, Olio wanted to charge again before the Great Prophet stopped him.

“The difference is power is too huge! All you will achieve by doing that is dying aimlessly!”

“Then what do we do? Are we going to stand and watch this go on?” Olio bellowed, his eyes bloodshot. He had never been this furious before.

“Just wait. Once Master refines the Heart of The Existential Plane, that’s the time they perish!”

As the wisest, oldest Boundless Giant, the Great Prophet saw things crystal clear.

“Ugh!”

Olio held his fists tightly.

The whole soul-reading process did not take long. Gaianos threw away the divine core casually and looked at the Monarch Shrine.

“How was it, Gaianos? Where’s that knave?” The other Great Perfection deities asked impatiently.

Gaianos did not answer. Instead, he raised his right hand and swiped down his palm pointed at the tall, lofty Monarch Shrine. The shrine collapsed in an instant.

Gaianos swung his sleeves as the ruins went away with the winds.

The Monarch Shrine disappeared.

“No one?”

“Where’s that knave?”

“If he’s not in this shrine, then he should be in the Boundless Plane’s Land of Origin!”

Gaianos’ expression turned awful.

“The Land of Origin?”

The other five Great Perfection deities had similar expressions.

The Land of Origin was the land where the Heart of The Existential Plane was in. The mid-end existential plane was huge, so the Land of Origin was never easy to find. Even if they were Great Perfection deities, they still needed to put in the effort.

“Search at once! We must find him before he completely refines the Heart of The Existential Plane! Otherwise, we’ll be in trouble! We’ll split out now!”

The six Great Perfection deities looked at each other as they were about to search for the Land of Origin. Just then, a soft sound of the slicing of air echoed.

Gaianos’ expression changed slightly. He tilted his head to the left instinctively. A three-colored spear flew right past his temple.

“How dare you act so presumptuously in my territory! How bold of you!”
